When I came into the store, Aja was just as great in person. She helped me put everything together and was super patient and attentive, even though a line started forming behind me. You could tell she was doing her best to help everyone, and the customers seemed to notice and appreciate it. She gave me great advice, made sure the project turned out right, and somehow stayed calm and kind through it all. It's rare to come across that level of customer service these days. Walked back and was trying to find the one that was there while the two gentlemen followed one with the night deposit that said "guys these will be here tomorrow and the deals on chairs are next week" then walk into the employee door. The white guy was I think trying to rebound as he knew his buddy messed that up and reiterated that they were going to be here tomorrow and told me what time they opened. I quickly walked out with the white fellow following like I stole something and I gave it to him. I feel bad this evening but the guy doing the deposit set me off when I knew exactly what chair I wanted. I wasn't pleasant when I left and told the white guy to cut it as he knew that I was pissed. I feel bad for taking it out on him when it was the other guy but more so mad because we left at 6:41. I was in there for 6 minutes. 6 minutes.... SIX minutes. 19 minutes before closing. When I tried to return a defective receiver that was just two days outside of the return policy, Joan was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I simply expected some flexibility and respect given my long-standing business with Best Buy. Instead, I was treated like my loyalty meant nothing. What makes it even worse is that if I had purchased this item from Amazon, I would've been well within their return policy. I specifically chose to shop at Best Buy instead of Amazon (even though the price was the same) because I wanted to support a brick-and-mortar business. Clearly, that loyalty was a mistake. Moving forward, I'll be doing all my shopping with Amazon, where customer service is consistent, and policies are more customer-friendly. It's unacceptable for a company like Best Buy to treat a high-spending customer this way, and I can't recommend this location--or the company--anymore. Best Buy has lost my business for good.

BACK UP EVERYTHING half the computers I've taken here came back with the hard drives wiped clean. The other half got lost & he doesn't seem motivated to do anything about that. 2. Call before visiting. some shops would call you if there's been a delay. Most will call or email when the work is done. That's not Jimmy's style, so if he told you it would be ready last week, save yourself a trip by calling to make sure. 3. don't bring the charging cable. he's got plenty that will work with most devices & will probably lose yours anyway. 4. be patient James doesn't have a great short term memory & may ask several times what your name is & what brand your computer was & what he was doing to it. maybe put the important info on a notecard affixed to the device. large print. 5. inspect the device before leaving with it. did he put all the screws back in? does it boot up? this could save you a trip or two. 6. Try it yourself first. there are probably a few videos online that explain what you need done. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF! you can do hard things well. if you get stuck or don't have the time, Jimmy's got you. 7. make your device unique Jimmy's got a dozen stacks of silver & black laptops & tablets. put stickers on yours or paint a corner with nail polish. bring it in a neon green box or something.
