    My review of Joan, Store Manager, Irving TX Best Buy…read more I've been a loyal Best Buy customer, spending over $10,000 in the last month alone, but my experience with Joan, the store manager at the Irving, TX location, has completely turned me away from the company. When I tried to return a defective receiver that was just two days outside of the return policy, Joan was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I wasn't asking for special treatment--I simply expected some flexibility and respect given my long-standing business with Best Buy. Instead, I was treated like my loyalty meant nothing. What makes it even worse is that if I had purchased this item from Amazon, I would've been well within their return policy. I specifically chose to shop at Best Buy instead of Amazon (even though the price was the same) because I wanted to support a brick-and-mortar business. Clearly, that loyalty was a mistake. Moving forward, I'll be doing all my shopping with Amazon, where customer service is consistent, and policies are more customer-friendly. It's unacceptable for a company like Best Buy to treat a high-spending customer this way, and I can't recommend this location--or the company--anymore. Best Buy has lost my business for good.
