I told her the issues I was having trying to place my order online and she went above and beyond for me. I needed the order right away and it was ready for pick up the next day. I was shopping for office chairs today and came in around noon and found one I really liked. Wanted to compare it to a different one at Staples but wasn't like the one at Office Depot. I came back but near closing but ran in knowing I was looking at one chair. I was greeted "hey guys, we're closing in 15 minutes" at 6:34. Walked back and was trying to find the one that was there while the two gentlemen followed one with the night deposit that said "guys these will be here tomorrow and the deals on chairs are next week" then walk into the employee door. The white guy was I think trying to rebound as he knew his buddy messed that up and reiterated that they were going to be here tomorrow and told me what time they opened. I quickly walked out with the white fellow following like I stole something and I gave it to him. I feel bad this evening but the guy doing the deposit set me off when I knew exactly what chair I wanted. I wasn't pleasant when I left and told the white guy to cut it as he knew that I was pissed. I feel bad for taking it out on him when it was the other guy but more so mad because we left at 6:41. I was in there for 6 minutes. 6 minutes.... SIX minutes. 19 minutes before closing. I needed help printing and laminating a few pages for a project, so I called ahead to check pricing and make sure they could do it. I spoke with Aja over the phone, and she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, she was super easy to talk to and gave me all the info I needed. When I came into the store, Aja was just as great in person. She helped me put everything together and was super patient and attentive, even though a line started forming behind me. You could tell she was doing her best to help everyone, and the customers seemed to notice and appreciate it. She gave me great advice, made sure the project turned out right, and somehow stayed calm and kind through it all. It's rare to come across that level of customer service these days. Aja really went above and beyond. If you need help with printing or anything similar, I highly recommend coming here and asking for her! read more

This review is for the Fedex station inside. Your workers are liars. You have a sign posted that advertises overnight shipping. I told the cashier I needed overnight shipping. She had me fill out the mailing information. I wasted nearly half an hour to be later informed by her supervisor that overnight shipping is not offered. Me: "Where is the overnight shipping option?" Him: "We don't offer overnight shipping." Me: (pointing to the overnight shipping poster) "Then why is that up there?" Him: "I don't know." False advertising. Eh... it's an Office Depot. Considered not even reviewing but I like to give honest reviews of as many businesses as I can. My friend had to come in to print a few things so I tagged along. She was able to upload her files to their computer and have her documents printed and laminated in a fairly short time... maybe under 10 minutes. I wandered around while we waited. I liked that there were some decent sales going on. For instance, packs of Sharpie markers, normally $12 on sale for $6! Not bad! I rummaged through a bin of $3.99 books and found a practice numbers white board book for my daughter. (These types of books typically run $10+ at other stores.) The lower rating is sadly for the employees. Personally I just didn't feel they were very friendly. Customer service could be a bit better. I mean, I don't expect tons of "warm and fuzzy" feelings while picking up office supplies but a smile would be nice. Also, while my friend was paying for her print outs, I asked if I could just pay for my single item there and was told no, I had to wait in line at the other register. Ooooooook??? I don't know why I keep trying. I normally go go to the office depot in Garland, but this was on my way home. In February, I sent work to be printed using their online submission that I always use. I was informed that the work was ready to be picked up, but when I went it was not there they said they would look for it, and never found it or even contacted me about it I eventually gave up and went somewhere else. I was never refunded for that work either. This week I sent for jobs to be printed. One that was supposed to be front and back, was printed all one-sided and now doesn't fit in the binders for it. One was supposed to be printed in portrait, but it was printed landscape. It's useless now, since half of the work is not even on the page. I also made a note to keep my work behind the desk to prevent what happened in February. They made sure to neglect that and put it in the front for anyone to grab. read more

It never fails every time I have come to this location to try to email documents, equipment is always down. How are you an office store and the damn equipment is never working. So inconvenient. Then they have only one self serve copier working and just my luck some lady is taking FOREVER and a day to scan her little documents. This store is horrible. Fantastic customer service! Printing department did a great job on all my printing and business card needs and Moe the Manager was so helpful. A few employees working on Sunday afternoon, none of which came up to us to ask if we needed help. After finding a printer, we liked but had no information about it anywhere near it, we went to the front to ask. I made a friendly half-joking bet with my bf that I would be able to find the information using their display PC faster than he could get an employee to verify it. I didn't know just how accurate that statement was; I found that it was on sale and that particular store location had one in stock by searching the model number on the office depot website. Well... The ARROGANT employee contacted the stock room staff with no luck and matter-of-factly told us that they did not have it in stock. As we were about to walk out, my bf said they probably have the printer on an endcap or another wrong place so I did a quick scan of the store to find... OUR "out-of-stock" PRINTER. I wanted to show the half-ass employee how I was able to do his job better but he avoided all eye contact, hopefully knowing he was in the wrong. Places like this prove to me that customer service is nonexistent in DFW. Also, Office Depot's toners for this particular inkjet printer were marked up $20 more than other retailers. Not sure if they price match but they definitely don't emphasize it if they do. Such a crap store. read more

I stop by today March, 4,2019 for a use of wifi. I wasn't able to connect and I went to ask personal to help me. This boy who works there was very ajitated and didn't want to help me, even throw me out of the store. I got the sense that he really need some professional help. To be working with customers personal have to be patient and polite. He new he was wrong, because when I asked his name he didn't give it me. You need help him to be more professional. This store was under construction during my visit. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was greeted several times during my visit. When I need assistance the associate was fairly easy to locate and helpful. Of course the item I need had to be ordered online because they don't carry bulk items in the store. This store is also cheaper that comparable stores. They also had a great clearance section and it was organized. They also have coupons. read more

Stopped in to send a couple faxes, and to have business cards made. One of the fax numbers didn't go through. The woman assisting me suggested putting document into a PDF. Excellent idea! She had a few customers she was tending to, but kept up with the pace. Very helpful. Now as I was about to walk out "totally satisfied" I turned around to go look at computers. About 3 weeks ago, I was in the store on MacArthur and 635 as I was in the area and needed a key board. It is not a store I normally shop, but was on my way home from lunch with a friend. I made my purchase and accidentally left my coin purse there. I missed it a few days later and called and revisited everyplace I could think of that I had been. I had completely forgotten about the keyboard purchase. The coin purse did not contain any credit cards, but it did have cash and all the reward cards, receipts, gift cards etc in it. I had given up. A few days ago, I got a call from my insurance company stating they had received a call from Sergio, the office manager at Office Depot. He asked that they call me and let me know that my coin purse was there. I called him back right away.Since there was no identification with a phone number, he called them to request they call me. I was impressed with his inventiveness and commitment to get me back my property. He truly went above and beyond. It turned out that I had left it on the counter, Abby (sp? employee) found it and turned it in to Sergio who then locked it in the safe. Kudo's to both of them. Everything was still in it and I was truly impressed. How often do you hear something like that? I fully support any business that creates a cultural environment of honesty and integrity as well as creative problem solving. I will be a customer for life here. I also purchased a new office chair I had been eyeing for a while. I work from home and could have waited, but did it then and love the chair, the service and the way I was treated. read more

The worst customer service at this store. I went in to change my iphone battery here and after they changed it, they spoilt my phone. My speaker stopped working. Had to fight with them as they said it was not their fault. The manager finally agreed and fixed the issue. Later I realized that they had stolen my original home button and my fingerprinting stopped working. Went in couple of times , but they refused to agree it was their fault. And now the battery has blown up and my phone has stopped working again. I was told by them that yes they have the same technician from apple and the batteries are bought from the same supplier as apple. They are frauds and liars. They always make you wait for a long time to get your problem solved. I would never go to this store again to buy anything , with the kind of people that run this store and steal your orginal parts. When complained to the main head office, no one followed up again with me . 2 of my friends also went to the same store and they also realised that Office depot had spoilt their phones instead of fixing the battery etc. No wonder this store has a lot of bad reviews. PLease dont ever go here to fix any phone issues or buy anything. read more

Im a fan of this location because Asia who works in the Copy Print area is always eager to help. Sergio was patient in explaining the type of paper that would be best for my project. Im a small business owner and it helps alot when you can go into a store and get exactly what you needed and more. Their customer service could improve as a whole. I notice that they are often understaffed at busy times. And this would frustrate anyone doing the job of 2 to 3 people when you're only one person. I encourage management to reevaluate their staffing processes. read more
