Bought new speakers for my car and used their financing because they said there was no interest and it would be paid off in 4 months. 8 months later I am still making payments and Katapult, the finance company, does not respond to any attempts at contacting them. The speakers cost me double because of this! As far as the service at advanced stereo... the installers left the old speakers all over my car, and greasy finger prints on my window. I will not be returning to get a new stereo installed I would rather pay a little more somewhere else. In reply to the business owner... I tried paying it sooner and tried contacting them but never got a single response in 6 months or trying! The additional payments I sent just sit there while I continue to pay a 100% interest rate! I had the cash to pay on the spot but was talked into this finance option by an employee. Katapult is already being reported to the consumer finance protection bureau for this. I am done trying to deal with this fraud! read more

Great service & very great deals on their top of the line products, been coming to them for years & so has the rest of my family.

I seen a 12 inch screen on there social media page and i liked it so I though I would just go to check it out and see how much it would cost and when I got there Robert was the sales person who approached me when I walked in i told him what I was looking for showed him a picture and just wanted to get a estimate and he was also very knowledgeable and broke everything down to me pricing, financing etc so as we kept talking he definitely worked with me on the price and I was sold to get it and have the installation done before I left there and I am happy I did it and now have a new toy to play with everyday thank you Robert and your installation team for such an awesome product I will definitely be back for more installations I want to get done. read more

Terrible experience. They messed up my installation and said it would take 15-20 minutes to fix. I had to bring it back the following day during my lunch break. It took them 2 hours. Never coming back. Guess im the fool for dropping almost $900 here for a car alarm. Learn from me, DO NOT spend your hard earned money at this hole. read more

On the day of installation, Jason was punctual, polite, and professional from beginning to end. He handled all aspects of the job quickly and efficiently, ensuring that everything was properly fitted into my car. The sound system he installed for me produced a fantastic sound quality with ample clarity and base - exactly as promised! His attention to detail was great and this whole process really made it stand out because not only did he do an excellent job with installing the products, but he also went above and beyond by checking on how it sounded afterwards as well and he gave me a training. read more

I came here initially because my car stereo died. I was excited when I found out they do more than stereos and could also set me up with a back up camera and tinting on my windows. I walked in with no appointment and they were able to do it on the spot and gave me a ride home while I waited for my car! Above and beyond service. A friend of mine had suggested I listen to the Audison 10" sub enclosure to add bass to my stock audio system. After contacting Audison, I was provided the number to Tony (the owner) at Advanced Car Stereo as they are an Authorized Dealer for Audison as well as many other quality brands. After chatting with Tony about the other sub I was considering, he said the Audison APBX 10AS provides quality bass, sounds awesome, and takes less room than a traditional square sub box. He suggested I take a listen. He said, "I want to earn your business, come down and take a look, I get them in tomorrow before 12pm". The next day I drove from NorthCounty SD all the way to his shop in Riverside. After traffic, I got there 2hrs before closing time and met with Jaime. He demonstrated the Audison box and decided to get it installed. Domingo worked diligently to install my Audison box resulting in a professional clean looking installation by closing time. During the install, Jaime took the time to answer my questions and showcased a lot of the quality speakers available at Advanced Car Stereo. Jaime provided some great suggestions for future upgrades after listening to my goals. Tony said he wanted to earn my business and these guys definitely have. I'll most certainly be going back to Tony's shop for any future car audio needs. Thank you guys! You guys are awesome! read more

I went into Advanced Car Stereo for installation of an audio system that I purchased online for my 2011 Mercedes E350. During the installation the technician saw there was a critical specialized Mercedes module missing from the box. Fortunately they had one in inventory and they installed it. I expected to pay more than the original quote of $450 but instead, I was actually charged $50 less for a very complicated and time consuming installation. It turned out great and Tony the owner is probably the most honest business man in Riverside and Advanced Car Stereo is the best place in all of So Cal to buy and install car audio systems. read more

Dont waste your time! Spoke to Damian over the phone regarding a 2016 chevy silverado I clearly told him what I wanted and and told him for what year, make and model. He quoted me a price for the system that I wanted which was $950.00 using my amp and sub. I drove from highland and got there asked him about the Harmon kappas we spoke about just so he can tell me that it's more money blah blah blah ( he talks alot to try to sell you) he then said I needed another part to make it work he was bragging about his years of working in the business so I told him how was it that he gave me a whole different price he told me becuase I never told him the year make and model that I needed it for. Very unprofessional as a business owner my self I would never do that. How can you give prices with installation for a car you dont even know itll go on. Dont waste your time like I did. read more

Employees were super helpful and knowledgeable about the headunits. I went in to replace my factory head unit for one that had Apple CarPlay. Experience was mostly positive except for some significantly unfavorable things. Main one being ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I do not remember seeing a sign inside the store explicitly outlining this. There may be one, but if so it was not displayed big enough or obvious enough for all customers to easily read. Most stores have one right above the registers when paying, this store did not have it. I was not even told AT CHECKOUT that all sales were final!! This is a very important thing to mention just in case because these are rather expensive purchases that have a significant impact to your car's interior, at least in regards to the headunits. It should be a reminder to make sure everyone is on the same page. The headunit I chose does retain most (but not all, even though I was told it would retain all) of my factory features such as my lane watch and reverse cameras, but picture quality is significantly worse than factory. This may seem obvious in retrospect but it should be a considerable talking point the salesmen should address when talking about it. I only learned this after the fact. It's not horrible after fiddling with settings but definitely not as good as factory. Some positives, however: The sound quality is better than factory All employees are friendly and helpful They have one year warranty for their purchases and apparently will replace back to stock and only charge for labor. Overall experience, decent read more

Took my car there for an installation of BimmerTech CarPlay MMI Prime. There shop was recommended as a certified BimmerTech installation center. There service was impeccable and I appreciated how knowledgeable the young man seemed to be in regard to the product I brought in. They all where very polite. It also must me said that same young man took time to show me how to pair and operate the device they installed. The installation price most will find high, but I thought it was worth it considering all the left hands I have in regard to this type of DIY tasks. I would recommend Advanced Car Stereo! read more

I took my 2022 camry with 500 miles on it for a subwoofer install Once I got it back the alarm wasn't working, so I told them it wasn't working and the first thing he said was it was like that when you brought it.. like come on it's a brand new car with 500 miles and it was working literally before the install. Right after they fix it. The next day the amp wasn't working so I went back to get it check it just to find out it wasn't wire right I had to wait 4hr just for a 20min job They also wanted to charge me for something they fuck up on read more

If I could give 6 stars for EXTRA CREDIT, I would. My husband was referred to Tony/Advanced by a friend who had work done. Our friend was very happy so we figured we'd check them out. Tony was great going over options to try and fit our budget. I just wanted an estimate, but my husband felt confident in the recommendation. I had a number in mind of what I wanted to spend; I spent more than I had planned and just hoped it was worth it. I write to say, IT WAS WORTH IT!!! I certainly didn't take into consideration the increase in equipment since the pandemic. Tony has an amazing crew of employees and offers top quality equipment. I felt it was important to him that I was comfortable with what we spent and happy with the end product. Alex did the work on our boat and I'm thrilled with our experience. read more

Initial Visit Damian and their corresponding staff were excellent, fast, and transparent with their sale. They thoroughly walked through set-up and options pre-service and aligned with any preferences\needs I had. Despite many people in line. Ended up getting what I wanted and needed, instead of getting up-sold items out side of my budget. They also did same day service as well which I was really impressed with! Cable management was clean, and subtle. 2nd Visit Sub went out, brought my car in. Followed up with store. Said they called me 10-15 times. They told me they replaced it. Sub went out again the next day. 3rd visit Contacted Tony, and they easily accommodated and troubleshooted the primary issues\concerns. Damian\Robert fixed the problem within 45 minutes of arrival. 4.5 star for their succinct, straight forward customer service, despite the multiple issues. Albeit frustrating, glad they fixed it quickly. Pending 4th visit This event occurred after getting another replacement. Next day, same thing from last time sub went out again. Entered my car, heard popping noise with no music playing. Kind of sounded like when you're plugging an electric guitar into a live guitar amp. Played some music no sound again. Open the trunk it smells smoky. NO sound. It's certainly frustrating when you this is your overall first aftermarket experience with a brand new car. Super discouraged. read more

Sent tony a message late at night, he answered early in the morning hours & even with a booked schedule he was able to get me in to install a viper alarm on my car. Really appreciate the effort in getting me in & making it happen. Customer service here is amazing for sure. Got my alarm installed in 3 hours, they got my power locks working, everything. So I drive off and things in my car start malfunctioning. My first thought was that they had did some bad wiring, so tony told me to bring it back ASAP. They got my car in & started inspecting it right away. They were able to find the problems that were causing the malfunctioning in my car, in which they explained to me piece by piece. & I called this A-plus customer service. They're quick, they're honest, they're not money hungry, I don't feel like they try to snake you like most places try to do. Fair business, many many techs working on hand, nice place, It was so hot outside & thankfully they had ice cold ac blowing. & Jose thanks for the ice cold water ! Definitely coming back here for future work. Edit: I take back all the things I said in the first half of my review. Besides they're quick to get you in and get you out. That I am going to say is still true. They got me in and out. & 3 days later my car won't even run for more than an hour without my battery dying. Horrible job. Horrible wiring. They fried my 800 ecu. So when I went back for them to check it they found all kinds of excuses as to why my car was malfunctioning & it sounded good so I left thinking that it was my car. But let's be real now, I pulled up and the car had 0 problems. They even said it, that there was no problems when I came besides something they failed to mention before they started working on my car & still didn't tell me what the 1 problem was when they let me go. My car dies on the freeway. Speedometer wasn't working. Sub and radio glitching. Every time I jump it, it dies 2 minutes later. Rpm only goes up to 5k and it cancels out fuel. They tried to blame a box that I had in my trunk that was suppository affecting my sub from working. But when I went back there it wasn't even touching the amp that they said was causing the sub to go in and out. Had to literally tow my car into a shop and they couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with my car. MY ECU IS FRIED. Everything electrical in my car is either glitching or fucked. ALTERNATOR is no long sending charge to my battery. They did some weird ass wiring job that is causing my car all kinds of problems. 249$ for a car alarm that's causing me 5x that just to get the car working again. The owner says if you know how an alarm works you wouldn't be thinking that way that you are. & If he saw my car just like his workers did, they didn't say there was anything wrong with my car either. But I know my car, I know that there was NOTHING wrong with it before they started the installation that ruined all of my other electronics in my car. What are the chances that ALL MY ELECTRICAL S*** stops working after I come and get an alarm installed by them. So here I am, carless. Spending more money to have their so called professional "job/installation" that ruined my car repaired. Had to pay for a tow, had to pay for all kinds of shit. & the first place I brought it to told me that the wiring on my car doesn't even make any sense. & if that was the case why didn't these guys tell me that my wiring is all f***** up before they started working on my car. For all the people that have had success with these guys, lucky you. But I wouldn't recommend bringing your car here. & then they want me to bring it back so they can take the alarm off. After causing all that damage in my car and causing me days of headaches and a immobile car, all you say is, come back so I can remove the alarm. read more

I'm frustrated in regards how this business deal with its customers. I brought my car at exactly 9:25 in the morning and it's 1:00 pm already and they haven't touch my car.The owner keeps on passing by me not even asking asking us if we been helped and ignoring us like we are begging for his business. No follow up from the desk of what's going on. Jose I think his name and told my wife another 1 hour of waiting and I am hungry already waiting. The ratio of technician is not appropriate to the demand of your business on Saturday. Do something about it Mr Amin if you still need the business of the community or else you and the previous owners who seemed not interested in business satisfaction of your customers. Be pro active and learn from the customers outside and waiting and be willing to change if you want to be successful in the auto sound business. Why do you have to get my money and pay you in advance and let me wait for hours instead of giving me an alternative to be in your place on weekdays. Think about it I could have been in Al and Ed's in Ontario but you opted to let me wait until my eye's turned white while waiting..Good luck pal I won't be back and I will relate this scenario to all my relatives and friends. read more

Currently am being serviced by these people, they took in my car at 3pm and told me to be there before 5:30 for the pick up, showed up waited around for over 40 min for my car, I didn't mind until I got the car back and the air bag light was on. I let them know that the airbag light was on and got the response "it wasn't on before?" Uh, no. 15 min later they bring my car back to me, they are in a rush to close so I hop in my car with little instruction and am on my way. Turn on my air conditioning and it's loud, like a flapping sound as if they put something that got in the way of my air conditioning, and there are cut cords from the install still in my car, dirty hand prints as well. I called them the next morning to let them know of the issue, they tell me to come in the afternoon and I do. When I arrive they told me they had accepted new customers that day and could not get to my car, even though they should be more worried about a car they just serviced and is already having issues. I ask to speak to a manager and he does not come, just another associate who also tries to tell me they have new customers and they need to put me off until the next day. Saying they don't touch AC units even though they unplug them to get the service done to install a Kenwood. Insinuating that my ac is going out, on a two year old car lol. The service has been very notably poor from the employees after they had my money, they seemed like I was an inconvenience to them after that point. I am so disappointed in my instillation so far. I did not want it to be this way as I had paid 700 for this service to be done. I'll leave a update for when I bring the car in tomorrow. Update: brought in the car and when I picked it back up they said it never made a noise, upon me turning it on it is now silent. That was a lot of uncomfortably and "wasnt us" for a paying customer. Glad the problem magically disappeared when I wouldn't back down on the situation. My advice, DO NOT GO HERE, and if you do, avoid the female that works there especially, she does not care about her job and she doesn't care about YOU, nobody there cares but the owner (I know this because every situation that was bad on here was made right by him) who I sadly was told over and over again that I could talk to but never showed, and I'm guessing that's because the employees did not want to involve him. Just demand to speak with him and nobody else. The employees are running this place to the GROUND. BE AWARE. read more
