They were not willing to reimburse their shipping to me nor my cost to return ship to them although their representative acknowledged the mistaken item description was their fault! She showed us several catalogs of designs and then we talked about the numbers, timing, etc. Sheryl told us that she has been in this business for many years and it showed. She helped us with suggestions on the wording for the invitations and we exchanged several emails tweaking the text details and proper grammar. We also had the envelopes printed with the addresses. I will say they do have an impressive amount of jewelry and their art selection was beautiful. However, our experiences were completely soured by the owner. We were by the corner near the register looking at their COSTUME jewelry. The cabinet did not happen to be locked and there was no sign on the door explicitly asking customers not to go in. A guy who I now realize was her husband kept poking his head in between our shoulders. At that point I thought it was just a guy with no concept of personal space. I now understand he was checking to see what we were doing as if we could steal with all the cameras around. He did not say anything to us immediately and I think at that point he told his wife to say something so she proceeds to very loudly scold us in front of her staff and the other customer in the store. She did apologize to my sister, however, there was no reason to behave the way she did especially when you depend on other people to make a living. I hope they can at least put signs to ensure there are no miscommunications in the future.

I will not return due to the arrogance and microaggressions of the employees. I know my high end designer brands. I own high end designer brands. I do not always go shopping dressed to the nines. Esp to a consignment store sidewalk sale. An employee rolled her eyes when I asked her about the pricing on one of the items. No need for the attitude. While my daughter was waiting to check out, another employee approached a woman standing behind her to take her to a register. That customer asked my daughter if she wanted to go with the employee. That was classy and kind. The employee actually stammered and point my daughter to a register and proceeded to walk the customer to personally ring her up. Needless to say, we will never come back. There are better resale stores on the North Shore: across the street is the YWCA resale, KMK Luxury in Winnetka, Junior League in Evanston, New to You in Glenview, Winnetka Thrift Shop are just a few. Everyone at all those stores are respectful and kind.
