Purchased a 5 piece reclining sectional. About 2 months late on delivery. When it was finally delivered, one section was non-operative, and another reclining section made loud noise, and I discovered 3 of 4 screws were missing that make the foot rest lift, making the unit inoperable. 3 days later we are still waiting for a call back from their "concierge support". Huge fans of this place. Jesse Rodriguez is our designer. I don't even have the words to describe how thankful we are to have had the opportunity to have him create the decoration/design of our new home we just bought- he's doing our living room + dining room and office!! We are so excited! We had the most wonderful experience here, and it's all because of the staff at this location. Im a self proclaimed interior decorator but Jesse brought our ideas to another level. Like, I am writing a letter to corporate that's how much I think this guy needs to be recognized. If we even mention his name at another Arhaus store location the employees go "Oh wow, how do yall know Jesse?" we just say... we just walked in and got lucky I guess... and they say "yeah y'all did" Lol. I wanted to like this place because they seemed to have nice furniture. However, after spending $60,000 to furnish a condo they have entirely disregarded my complaint that my travertine table was delivered with a crack down the center of the base, after waiting almost 6 months for delivery. This is just one example of their shoddy service. They also delivered the wrong rug-circle instead of rectangle. Most frustrating is that my sales designer has not made any effort to respond to my request to look into the matter of the dining table. The store now said it will be another 3 months before they will deliver a new table. Needless to say, I will not be buying more furniture from ArHaus. I should have paid attention to the mixed reviews and a customer in the store who warned me that she was still trying to correct an order after 4 wrong fixes. West Elm, Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel seem like much better choices for furnishing a home. read more

We recently purchased a dining room table and dining room chairs from Arhaus and had an excellent experience! I will also be posting this on the Lincoln Park site because I ended up visiting both stores and working with Samantha at the North Brook location and Rachel in Lincoln Park. Both of them were delightful and extremely helpful and we are thrilled with our purchases. When the table was delivered we noticed an imperfection on the leg. The delivery person immediately called someone at the company and right there in the moment we scheduled a time for them to come back with a different table. Their response was, we cannot extend the warranty when a product is damaged due to weather. The product description clearly states, designed to resist the elements. So sofa wonderful... I have long awaited the opening of the Northbrook Court location, and even though they opened a few weeks ago, tonight was the first chance I had to stop in. And... I'm in love! Take note, you will be approached by several members of their sales team, which means they most likely work on commission. Honestly, I would have liked to look around even more than I had the chance too, but my hubby kept looking at sectional sofas, which caught everyone's eye, so that's where the night ended up. But, I'm glad it ended up going in that direction, because I came home with a fabric swatch, a quote, Paula's card, and a new found love for my dream sectional that I hope to end up with in a month or so. The furniture here is top quality from what I can see and sofas are stuffed with down. Most of their furniture is made in North Carolina, which is why it is most likely a little higher priced than furniture made overseas. We've been on the sofa hunt for a couple months now, and we haven't found that sink-into-it sofa until tonight. Oh yeah... Tonight is the last night of their special summer sale, but I learned they have another one coming up in August - probably considered their fall sale. The difference in price is about $500, so if you can catch one, that helps. I didn't get to check out all that this store has to offer, but I will be back for sure, especially since it's dangerously close to my house. read more

The worst people to do business with. We bought a set of kitchen chairs and when they were delivered to us the color was not the same as the swatch. When we brought this up to the store they now say that say the color can vary a bit. Had to fight to get our money back. Then they hit us with a delivery charge and said it's not refundable. Being from Cleveland Ohio, I am huge fan of this store and I have many pieces from Arhaus in my house. The Cleveland stores customer service is fabulous. Unfortunately the customer service in the Northbrook Illinois store is non existent. I have been in several times to actually purchase an item and there was no one around to help me. The sales people seem more focused on their personal conversations then helping customers. Today I wanted to purchase a bench for my bedroom. I was actually standing at the POS desk for several minutes. No one was there to help or acknowledged that I was there. It was so strange. And I was in casual business attire. In my opinion this is only a source of overpriced and poorly constructed furniture. The company damaged my piece before delivery. In addition I do not believe the quality of leather matches the sample. I asked to return for a full refund and was offered a "choice" due to THEIR mistake; wait another 12 weeks for a new piece or keep the existing for 10% off. I am disgusted by the actions of the customer care team who requested pictures of the damage, taking weeks to reply with an answer-eventually telling me they would consider offering me a higher discount and then later refusing to do so. If they could not provide a quality, undamaged piece in 12 weeks then I felt I should have been allowed to return this for a refund. A 10 % refund was laughable, as was waiting another 12 weeks for new production. People make mistakes, but this was not my mistake, and I do not feel I should have to pay the price. read more

Purchased the recycled metal dining table with Kenya base in the zinc alloy finish. The finish is peeling with regular use. Did 2 different online chats and was informed to speak with a design concierge after waiting online for 3o minutes. Called and was told they don't warranty the finish. If I want I can talk to some outside technicians not related to Arhaus. Basically I am SOL. I purchased a roomful of furniture from them and don't feel like they care once you leave the showroom. For a high end store it's very disappointing! Delivery on purchases are promised but not delivered as promised. While the staff is very nice, after the purchase it all falls apart! She prepared a profile for us and gave us with a folder of printouts (with measurements) of our favorite pieces and design ideas. The Northbrook location of Arhaus is my favorite one in the Chicagoland area. The furniture is displayed beautifully and the designers are terrific, always engaging and helpful. I have a great time whenever I stop in the store. My designer is Jesse Rodriguez. I have been working with him for a little over 2 years to decorate/update most rooms in my house. Jesse is amazing. He's an excellent designer who takes the time to listen and understand before providing thoughtful and creative solutions. Jesse is patient, supportive, and fun - a real pleasure to work with. The customer relationship matters to him, and it doesn't just end with the sale. Jesse has come out to my house for deliveries and helped arrange the furniture. He's the first one I called when I damaged my dinning table and fabric ottoman. And he lets me know when new pieces come in that he thinks I might like. No matter what, he is there to help, always with an upbeat attitude and willingness to make things right. I truly value this relationship and it's why I keep coming back to Arhaus. Not everything has gone smoothly. Like other reviewers, I have experienced more than my fair share of delivery problems. In each case, though, my issues were taken care of in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. Last year, Arhaus switched delivery companies and my deliveries since have been flawless. I am also happy with the recent addition of some pieces in the store with the same Arhaus style and quality, but at a lower price point (the Galileo mirror is a steal at $159!). Buyer beware!!!!! I bought a beautiful dinning table and chairs after they were delivered it was obvious they did not fit in the table. The mgt. was less than helpful in resolving this issue and getting product picked up. I even asked to speak to another mgr. and was told they were not allowed to give names or phone numbers. I finally had to call their corporate office for resolution - truth they were even less helpful. I asked to speak with VP of Customer Experience but she never called me back , I even emailed her!!! We purchased our new townhouse about a year ago and had to start from scratch to furnish and decorate. We had no idea where to begin. We made an appointment with Karen and Lisa in the Oak Brook store and it was the beginning of a great experience. They showed us some ideas in the store and got a feel for our needs and preferences. Lisa came to our townhouse and took measurements and pictures and then went to work with Karen to put together a plan for each of the rooms. A short time later we returned to the store and Karen and Lisa presented us with their designs so we could actually see how everything would look. We could not have been more pleased. Orders were placed and the furniture was delivered in a reasonable time. Lisa supervised the delivery and placement in the rooms. We have had nothing but "OH WOW" reactions from everyone that has seen our newly furnished and decorated home. Karen and Lisa are a terrific team!! Working with them is pleasurable and fun. I wish that I had read YELP before buying my sofa from ARHAUS in Schaumburg, IL. After less than 9 months, the tufting on my sofa is coming apart. I called the store and asked to speak to customer service. I was told that they would have the "concierge" Joe call me back. After 5 calls, he still did not call back. I asked to speak to the store manager Mike and of course he didn't call back either. I called the ARHAUS corporate office and spoke to Megan in Customer Service. She told me that since I bought the sofa off the floor that there was no warranty on it. Much to her credit she did tell me that my sofa was manufactured by a subcontractor and shipped to ARHAUS warehouse in August 2016. There it was stocked until shipped to the Schaumburg store in February, 2018. My wife and I bought it on February 24, 2018. The workmanship on my sofa is poorly done. Their fabric is not covered under warranty, so apparently cheap material is used. So remember when shopping at ARHAUS.... buyer beware. Dennis L read more

We bought a beautiful wall unit and many other items 7 mths ago. We have had problems with the wall unit, but they will send someone out to fix it. The problem is that the item went down 28 percent since we purchased it. We called to get some form of credit towards the store because we felt that kind of discount is extreme. They chose to do nothing for us. Thus loosing a customer business. So beware their prices fluctuate to the extreme. read more

We live in their area but recently purchased a second home in South Florida, and ordered some furniture there to be delivered to it.. Turned out that we were going to be down there, but only for a short time, and wanted to "thread the needle" by being present for it.. After warning us that it would be close to impossible, they stayed on it, and made it happen--on a Saturday morning..!!. I wish I read these reviews before I purchased a whole house worth of furniture. The furniture is beautiful. The salesmanship, customer service, and delivery after we purchased has been a nightmare. There was no follow up at all to let me know that most of my furniture was ready. I had to call every single time. And then twice I was promised a specific piece of furniture was ready (a dining room table--very important to have around the holidays) and going to be delivered, and twice it was not. The company took no responsibility at all for their mistake. In fact, I was scolded and talked down to by the sales associate who sold me the furniture. Wow. And the phones at this Northbrook location always seem to not be working. Go to Macy's instead. I hear their furniture customer service is great. read more

I like some of their furniture there. However, the customer service is too bad. I ordered a set of 5 bookshelves/carbinet combination last September. In the first delivery there were a wrong piece and a damaged piece. The delivery person called their customer service, indicating what's missing and what need to be replaced, and after installing the three "right" pieces, we scheduled another delivery. Then the second time they came back with two right bookshelves, but missing connectors and some other parts to install them together. That was in December already. They told me they are going to ship the missing parts to my house and then send someone to install it for me. Nothing happened for a month. Until I went back to the store twice to find someone to talk to. Finally got a call today from their customer service, saying they just ordered the parts, some will arrive soon, some will arrive at the end of February. Then they will send someone to install it. So from end of September when I ordered them, till early March (let's be optimistic), it takes at least half a year for them to put together a bookshelve set....I'm not going back to this store again no matter how good their furniture looks. T deserve better service with the $$$ I paid. read more

Oh my! I wish I would've read these reviews before I purchased anything from Arhaus. I ordered a bed at the end of October and was told it would be delivered within 8-10 weeks and its February 9th and still have no update. I was told the fabric was on back order...Do you think anybody would've called to let me know? NO!!!! If that was the case; Arhaus should've called and gave me an option to cancel my order or even asked if I would be willing to wait....Of course not, I was blinded sided because I HAD TO CALL THEM...you would think they would have contacted me. Beware of the quality.... We bought a sectional amongst other pieces, it looks good but the fabric on the buttons keeps on coming off. Arhaus fixed it by replacing the cushions (took 5 months), now they are sending new buttons and lets see how long it will take for someone to come replace these. When I complained about the fact that this is the second time the fabric comes off I was told I must be doing something wrong to the sofa... Maybe we should not sit on it??? read more

HORRIFIC!!! They do whatever they can to sell furniture and do not stand by any products (my friends warned me and I ignored them). I have been trying to get furniture fixed that I bought about a year ago and management does everything they can to make the process diffcult hoping you will just go away. NEVER buy anything from this store. I even went so far as to discuss with all the sales rep (Samantha, Erica and Jesse) the store manager (Alberto) and corporate. Arhaus actually told me that they thought they were doing me a favor!!!!! You get what you pay for so enjoy the crappy quality and the poor service.
