We took car in for noise it was making, they diagnosed with a few issues we agreed to take care of one of the issues and they said car would be ready same day in the evening. They ended up keeping the car for 3 days no one called or updated knowing it would take longer until day 2 at end of day. Then when we picked it up it was worse off then when we dropped it off. My husband called them back to ask if we should bring it back, then they told him there was other issues apart from what was discussed that would need to be taken care of but failed to ever mention that when the work was being done. I would get other quotes and look around because these guys are also pricey and that is ok if they do a good job but that is not the case in n my experience. Had an issue with oil leaking from hitting the bottom of my car. Went to Honda to replace a part and they didn't catch the battery or oil issue!!!! Adelino's fixed my oil issue for 75% LESS THAN 3 OTHER PLACES!! I had to put a quart of oil in just to drive there an hour away because the other places I DON'T TRUST. I came in for an accident I had and he helped me through the whole fix. The auto repair job I had for him was horrible. I have been coming here for several years to have my "ancient" Corolla serviced for smog requirements and other repairs. Even sent our neighbor here (widowed senior) for her repairs. She, my wife and I are THRILLED with the honesty, integrity, reasonableness and expertise of Adelino and his staff. Extremely decent, service oriented as are his staff (his son Sebastian, employee Juan). My main car is a much newer Rogue and while I do like the local dealer I am seriously thinking about bringing the Rogue in here in the future. And if you do not know that much about cars, in the car repair industry, you can be seriously gouged. Adelino and his team, is one of the few but generous people that would not do such a thing. I took my car to Adelino's for the first time when DMV notified me that I needed a smog check to renew my registration. When I found it on Yelp, I called to see how long it might take for my car to be checked, since I had limited time. I was informed that it would take 5 minutes... Really? Okay. I took my car in right away, to find out that it did, in fact, take them 5 minutes (or maybe not even that long!). I was pleased by the prompt service and the reasonable price, so I asked if I could get a small thing checked on the bottom of my car which had come loose. I think it took like 3 more minutes, and they fixed it! I loved the service! Also, who I'm assuming is Adelino is very funny, so that's a plus! I will definitely be returning here if my car should ever need anything else. read more

This is one of the best mechanics I have ever done business with. Despite being an adult man whose father was a car mechanic, I know less about fixing a car than the average woman. Every time i go to a new mechanic, I set my hands on my waist in a superman stance and nod my head in hopes that the guy thinks I know enough about cars to protect myself from unnecessary services and outrageous bills. Adelino's always does a great job and gives you a fair price. My only complaint are the bunch of guys who hang out long after their cars have been fixed doing who knows what. I can't believe that I see myself in the sad situation of making a very negative review of a business where Latinos work, because I am, and I feel very proud of my roots. Whenever I can, I do ALL my business with migrants, minorities, always seeking to empower the historically marginalized classes in our communities. When I called this place a second time (in the same hour), the person who answered took offense to me because I wanted to speak to them in Spanish. He told me that "this is America and that I should speak in English". Maybe I should have told him that as a former refugee, a current College Professor with a PhD, maybe my English was not as good as theirs, but I felt (and always feel) very proud of where I came from, but most important, what I am doing now to educate the next generations to avoid these hate acts at the workplace. But, I did not want to waste my time with such racists and ignorant people. I am seeing all these great reviews about their work, but I definitely do not want to take my business where I am not welcomed as I am. Our country is living very challenging times, and I think that business owners should take the diversity and racial issues very seriously, and respect our communities. Have to say Adelinos was the best repair man I have had the pleasure to meet. I have a 2011 BMW 528i (out of warranty) which has become of a real pain to maintain as well as expensive. One thing goes wrong after another...Adelino went out of his way to fix and accommodate the repair to my car for a third of the price that the dealer wanted to charge (after warranty stay away fro. BMW of Riverisde...). He worked late on a Saturday to get my. At done. He is extremely knowledgeable of BMWs and also owns quite a few bimmers.. some quite expensive ones as well. We've all dealt with mechanics. We can't honestly trust them. We hate their guts and they take all of our money. They run their mouths and we just hope it won't bankrupt us. I have a Toyota that need some work done on the head gasket . The usual mechanic that i USED to go to quoted me 1200 over the phone, then 1450 in person. I called around a bunch and it was upwards of 2200! I told them to shove it up their arse. My friend recommeded me to Adelino's. Every price they have quoted have beat all of their competitors price and their service is beyond the 5 star scale Yelp will let me rate. Best Car Repair Shop By Far!!!! This place was recommended to me by my dad to get any car work I needed that was not under my warranty. First of all I live in Fountain Valley and Adelino's Auto Clinic is in Riverside which is 30+/- miles away from me and I ONLY go there for any car work that is not on my cars warranty already, this should already show you how honest and trust worthy they are there. They are usually busy there because of all the customers and sometimes not so busy but the owner Adelino always try's his best to find out what's wrong with your car right away. He ordered and installed a Cold Air Intake for my dads car and a new K&N Air filter for mine as well as a new lighting kit. Around 5 years ago my brother took in his Mustang and Adelino put two racing stripes on it for him and man did they looke SEXY! This is the #1 place to go for ALL car repairs, he is Very honest, Super funny, and Very generous. I remember he was going to order food last time I was there and asked me what I wanted since I was waiting for my car in the waiting room and I said "nothing, thank you very much though" and around 25 minutes later one of his employes comes back with bags and bags of food from Del Taco and he puts them on the table and tells me to pick whatever I wanted and insists I eat something since I was waiting and I decided to eat 2 burritos and 1 taco and he told me "That's it?? Eat more help your self to whatever you want man" and then he offered me a soda and I said "No thank you I don't like soda much" and right away he yells for his employe named Juan and tells him "Get this man some water from across the street and buy your self whatever you want" and he hands him some money and I was shocked and said "No please it's ok" and he said "C'mon man your a customer in my shop and you always bring me your cars and your family's cars here, it's the least I can do for my loyal customers" and I was just amazed and said thank you to him and told him that I love coming to his shop because he makes you feel like family, even since the beginning from the first time I ever went in there he did. If your reading this Adelino I just want to thank you for all the honest hard work and all the money you have saved me from avoiding other shops that lie to you about made up problems. I came here to smog a truck to buy and a week later the check engine light came on, i look inside the hood and the vacuum line was not the original, when under the truck lot of the wires got cut, there is no way this truck would pass smog, the seller and the guy work here are friend, so they rig the machine to pass smog, selling the truck to me after a week later the check engine came on, i took it to my smog guy, and he said lot of wires were cut and vacuum inside engine was not right and missing parts, i call the smog place up and they guy didnt care and told me to pound sand. These guys are shady as hell, look at the way they talk on the phone, dont trust these people.
