Be forewarned, the basic fee has taxes and stuff that walked it up to $77 out the door, which was disclosed up front, so kudos there. I also made a reservation online but the guy took me early when I arrived, and in about 15 minutes he announced my car passed and provided the paperwork and scanned myDMV form. It's imperative that you bring that to your session. Nice guy, very friendly and professional. They offer a $32 service for expediting payment for the registration same day, but if you have a computer at home, you won't need that. All-in-all, a quick appointment, and unavoidable, but I would definitely come back if or when (probably next year). Pro tip: Fill up your tank and use a fuel injector cleaner from Autozone or O'Reilly's. Most importantly though, if your check engine light is on, you won't pass.

I arrived early and appreciated, that despite the busy customers, I was serviced by my appointment time. *I can attest that you are able to see your vehicle serviced (if you choose) through a window while you wait. *Water available to drink while you wait. *Service was efficient, quick and Sam did a great job explaining the DMV processing. *You are able to leave same day with new registration & stickers. *Excellence in quality of service to the smog. I am pleased, and currently awaiting my stickers in the mail (as I had already paid at DMV and just needed smog) Cons Restroom needed cleaning. Myself and an older woman both felt uncomfortable at the sight. In all fairness, this is a smog place, not department store. Still, she was elderly and I have disabilities. Clean facilities help us. *Pricing was not clear. On the website was a price that matched a posted paper in the office. However, on the official receipt were additional charges I was not made aware of until payment. Overall, they did a very good job. This business had a constant flow of customers and I could see why. I too, will be a returned customer for my next required smog.

Didn't mind as I had purchased Groupon deal--I will be honest at times buying a deal on the Groupon site could be like shooting craps but not for this offer--it was worth it, they did a good job and the equipment they use is up to date. They may not have a fancy, air-conditioned lobby--which is located outdoors under a tarp--it was fine for me as "little heat" on the 25th of August wasn't going to bother me or detract me, nor do they have a big property with lots of parking, which wasn't going to get in the way of me getting my car smogged the same day so my car could meet the DMV requirements. Overall, if you want quick, clear, great service without the frills or gimmicks, Mission Smog Test Only is the place to get your car smogged and get your certificate.
