Frank's Smog Station - My black queen - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Riverside, California

Normally people do not like the smog check requirement. Not because we want dirty cars, but because it's just another tax. Even my 2018 Honda Civic require a smog check, and it's a modern car. Frank handles it well. Quick, efficient, and I just learned today award-winning. That's some Frank. read more

Needed to get my car smogged and it's a Sunday. I didn't realize most shops don't open Sunday but guess what? Franks do! And it was only 6 mins away from my house. Eric helped me out. Very nice and friendly dude. There was literally no one here so he worked on my car right away. It's $60 flat out the door. It was quick and efficient. I highly recommend! read more

Came in on a Sunday. Shop didn't open until 45minutes later from the supposed opening time (9:45am instead of 9am). While inquiring with the technician, I have received a rude attitude by the way he interacted with me. I asked him if he's okay because he seemed irritated. Started arguing with me and I just asked him to stop so we could just proceed why I came for. Would t want to settle down and began taking pictures of me while finally declining service. I've been in this shop quite a few times and received excellent service from either of the two brother owners. Regretfully decided to leave for the kind of rude and weird behavior by the attending technician. read more

I had to take my mustang for a smog check and saw Frank's Smog Station was close by and had great reviews. He serviced my car right away and was done in like fifteen minutes. He was friendly and informative and I definitely plan to bring the rest of my cars here when I need a smog check. He's also open on Sundays which is great since a lot of smog and auto shops tend to be closed on that day. He's located inside of a gasoline station called Western Gasoline. read more

Service was quick and easy! The service was excellent. I walked in, they had one person ahead of me, by the time I sat down and by the time I started looking at my phone, I was already next! I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Yes I will be bringing my 04 Toyota corrolla here everytime. Great service and super professional and fast service.

If you're in need of a smog check, I definitely recommend this spot. I actually called the day before to ask for pricing ($60 car/$65 trucks including cert) and if an appointment was needed but was told it was a first come, first serve basis. I decided to stop by the morning after and was glad I did. I actually arrived when business just opened since I wasn't sure if it was going to be busy or not; but to my luck, there was only 1 person ahead of me. Service was excellent! The process was quick and easy! I was literally in and out of there within 20-30 mins. Thank you Gabriel! I will for sure refer your business and be back here anytime I need a smog check!! read more

Went in for a smog check. It only took 10 minutes, the price was reasonable, better than a lot of places. The service tech was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was in and out with no issues, and it passed. They even send the smog certificate to the DMV and give you a copy. read more

I contacted Frank through Yelp for a smog check, and within a few hours, he quoted me $50 for my car. Awesome! So I drove over to him the next morning, he honors the quote, and has me "in and out" within 15 minutes. Great customer service! Easy and quick process. Will continue to use this business for my smogs.

Fast and easy smog! Quality service from the owner. He helped us with three cars and one we had to come back after servicing.

Just like all the other reviews have rated this smog station, I as well have to give it a five-star rating. From the moment you reach the station, you are greeted by the staff member in a very courteous manner. He is very respectful, welcoming and gets the smog check done fast. I have been to other shops where it seems like an inconvenience for them for you to go there, not here. You can tell he values the business his customers bring to him. If I ever need a smog in the future or any of my friends ask for a recommendation, I will gladly recommend Frank's Smog Station. read more

There's a reason why they are 5 star rating. I was looking for same day smog check they were responsive immediately. When I arrived they had a couple cars ahead of me but kept me updated on time and acknowledged me. When my car was up to get smog, staff was very approachable & welcoming. They pride themselves on customer service. When my car passed the smog test, staff gave me recommendations on my tags. Overall throughout my experience with Franks, I felt they were communicative & made it smooth. read more

I did not have my DMV paperwork yet due to a recent move so I called Gabriel at the Smog Station to see if he could manually enter my vehicle information. Without hesitation he confirmed and said he'd be finished with the vehicle he was working on in about ten minutes. I headed over, and from start to finish, I was there twenty minutes. In that time, not only did Gabriel complete my smog inspection, but he was able to give me a few tips and suggestions on my DMV paperwork issues. The smog station is in the same lot as a gas station, with plenty of parking. You are In and Out fast, with a cool conversation to pass the time. Just awful! No Covid protections - Tech wasn't wearing a mask and came right up to me within a couple of feet. No social distancing. I expressed concern about masks as it is state mandated and advised I was going somewhere else. He gave me a look like I was out of line and he didn't care. Worst experience!
