Very good job! *Sam explained the life expectancy of a smog check per DMV regulations. *I scheduled an appointment for 11am, arrived ar 1030 am for a smog check. I arrived early and appreciated, that despite the busy customers, I was serviced by my appointment time. *I can attest that you are able to see your vehicle serviced (if you choose) through a window while you wait. *Water available to drink while you wait. *Service was efficient, quick and Sam did a great job explaining the DMV processing. *You are able to leave same day with new registration & stickers. *Excellence in quality of service to the smog. I am pleased, and currently awaiting my stickers in the mail (as I had already paid at DMV and just needed smog) Cons Restroom needed cleaning. Myself and an older woman both felt uncomfortable at the sight. In all fairness, this is a smog place, not department store. Still, she was elderly and I have disabilities. Clean facilities help us. *Pricing was not clear. On the website was a price that matched a posted paper in the office. However, on the official receipt were additional charges I was not made aware of until payment. Overall, they did a very good job. This business had a constant flow of customers and I could see why. Crazy I've been bringing a fleet of 25 Vans to this smog shop for the last 2 years. When I asked why the price was increased they explained prices went up without letting me know before. And then I asked for a discount because I bring 25 Vehicles here and was told I can get $5 off. I was then told I can get a $20 or $30 discount if I make a phone appointment next time. I asked to get the discount this time and was again offered a $5 discount. I will be taking the entire fleet of 25 plus vehicles to another location from now on, I hope the owner sees that for $20 he lost 25 vehicles very bad customer service decision. My wife went in to have our 2015 Honda Civic smog tested. It was Francisco or "Frank" who helped her. He was very professional, attentive, and efficient. Unfortunately, the car did not pass the first time because it has not been used very often for quite some time. But Frank was kind enough to give some tips on how to get it ready for a retest. True enough, we followed his advice and when my wife came back yesterday for the retest, it passed. These people are honest, and you get the value for the price paid. I had called first and spoke to Sam. He told me the best time to come in (either within the next 45 min or after 3pm) and estimated about 30 minutes. When I arrived, 15 minutes later, the business looked kind of sketchy. But, I went in. Sam had me fill in basic info, took my keys and told me "about 15-30 minutes." There was another car right in front of me. He lied. There was no way they took more than 10 minutes. The building was old, but the waiting room was set up for comfort and they were friendly and quick. They gave me a hard copy and sent the info to the DMV. It was a great experience.
