Came in early Sunday morning and yes--they're open! Found this place online since it was close by and I needed a smog ASAP. Juan helped us out super chill, very personable, and got us set up right away. We arrived shortly after opening; he was just finishing up with another customer and jumped right in to help us. On top of the great customer service, the office was clean and well-kept, with plenty of seating for a smaller spot. And the AC? Next level, definitely appreciated. Pricing was reasonable too. They accept card (including tap-to-pay) and cash, which made it super convenient. I'd definitely go back for the cute guy behind the desk too no but seriously will be using this location for our next smog and personal referrals we were in and out less than 30 minutes. Thanks for your assistance AA Smog! read more

I had a horrible experience and will never go back. I found them online and headed down there, but realized I'd arrive a few minutes after they closed at 6pm because of terrible traffic. I called ahead and spoke with the employee who said that he understood and would wait for me. I got there at exactly 6:03 PM and the place was completely locked up and shut down. I was shocked, I called the business and nobody answered and the voice mail was full. Their neighbor said they left several minutes before I got there. Fortunately I did a quick Google search and found another smog test center called D & S Automotive that was open until 8PM and just a few minutes away. I called them and went down and received excellent service from Mike. It only took a few minutes, he was very friendly and even offered my handicapped brother a bottle of water. I would strongly recommend anyone to go to D & S Automotive for their smog check instead of this horrible place. read more

I called and told him the make and model of my vehicle guy told me they had a special of $15 off which would be $50. I sent my husband in and he charge him $65. Explain how he had said $50 and he didn't respect the price. So false advertisement becareful. read more

Great place to get your smog check! went in and was seen right away. I believe the guy's name who helped me was Juan. Least his shirt said so lol but he was super kind and helpful. Like I said got me in right away and didn't take long on my smog check. Would recommend this place to anyone! read more

Juan was the most excellent guy. Even though one of my newly replaced oxygen sensors failed the test, he calmly told me that the computer needed the car to drive more miles to complete the amount of cycles that were required before the sensor locked in. I'm currently driving the car extra miles so that I can finally pass the test but Juan was super cool ant totally relaxed. I put my trust in him because he seemed very knowledgeable. Keep people like this at your place of business and you'll end up with 5 stars quickly! read more

Smog testing on my 2002 Ram Van camper. Great test and pleasant attendant helping me I was very pleased.

I have been coming here for years. Jim is awesome. This is one of those places that is hidden. Located in the dd's parking lot. If you have to wait it's quick. I would highly recommend. Ask for Jimmy ! Does the best deals around ! Make it super smooth & out quick. ! Thank you ! A+++++

When you think of the SMOG Service Station, it conjures up a sense of dread, a moment of having to pass a test, and then a reminder that this anxiety may not be as it seems. The best part is when you get your auto SMOG Test completed at "AA SMOG - TEST ONLY," it becomes a personlized experience worth coming back for. My car had a recall that was an alert on their data sheets. The service technician explained the recall issues and advised for me to take the car into the dealership. Also had a simple question about loose cables in the engine compartment. My solution was made even better with Jim's input. Just a reminder that this is not an auto repair shop. So don't expect an in-depth discussion or prolonged answer to your vehicle needs without any effort yourself beforehand. But if you want to have the personalized experience for your Smog Test, this will be your "go-to" Smog Test location. read more

Jimmy was professional enough to contact me as a new owner and offer his services at AA Smog shop. I have used the services before with the old management and was terrible. Jimmy is a great guy and knows what he is doing. I recommend the place especially if you are a dealer and coming out of an auction with a smog needy. Thank you for your interaction Jimmy. read more

Jim was polite and fast. Just make sure that your vehicle's I/M readiness monitors are complete before taking it in. Jimmy was not forthcoming with that information and my car failed the first smog. I had to come back to retest and pay a retest fee on top of the initial fee. read more

Not legit, scary owner tries to intimidate you. Charges pass or fail and wont pre test incase your sensors aren't ready yet.

Came in by opening. The owner is very reserved and straight forward. Got my smog check in 7 minutes. Overall an average experience but with the speed it was done, pretty content. read more

At first the technician seemed friendly and almost guaranteed me that my my Honda Civic 98' would pass. He said it would be 31 dls with cert included, so I left and when I came back (30 mins later) he informed me that Ithaca failed and when I asked him how much he would charge me to retest it he said it would be 25 dls (retest fee) plus 8.75 (cert.) when in his coupon it CLEARLY STATES "pass OR free retest". So, not only did I pay 22.75 for nothing but now he's not honoring what his coupon states. When I asked him about the coupon he became hostile and said "I normally charge 80 dls for this car" to which I replied, "really? C'mon I'm a girl not dumb". I swear these type of small smog check places will try to rip to off anyway they can. read more

Just want to give a big shout out the the owner and Ross! We called because our local stations were closed. Not only did the owner direct us where to go but sent us a pin to placate their center. It was getting close to closing so they made sure to stay open for us! Ross, the tech was about as amazing as they come! Thank u AA Smog along with the owner and Ross!!! They went above and beyond top notch service! read more

I would give 6 stars if I could!!!!!! So I got there and there was a sign that said "Be back in 20 minutes". Of course, that didn't leave a good initial impression but I decided to wait anyway. After approximately 15 minutes, someone came back and thoroughly apologized for the wait. I told him I had to be somewhere at 2:30PM and he took my car in first and even brought out a chair for me to sit and put a fan right in front of me because it was hot (so sweet haha). Price was awesome!!! The service was quick! The two gentlemen that helped me were so genuinely nice, trustworthy, helpful, and took into consideration that I had to be somewhere at a certain time. Their customer service is ABOVE AND BEYOND, which definitely earned them all 5 STARS despite the unexpected closing and wait. I would 100% recommend to friends/family. read more

Brought my vehicle asked for a smog. Worker asked if I had anything after market? I told him yes an intake with carb legal sticker. He popped my hood looked for one second and said no I can't do it go away. I asked why? He started getting aggravated and replied. I SAID NO! I'm not sure what's going on with him but worst customer service ever. read more

I called around to a bunch of smog shops in the area. This place gave me the lowest quote. When I got there the guy was super friendly. He stuck to his word on the price he gave me over the phone. I drive a Dodge Ram 1500 and this guy beat the prices of other shops by over 50%. The Truck passed with no issues. I just moved to the area from Vancouver, Canada and it can be hard to trust automotive shops. I definitely trust Naim down at AA Smog Test Only. read more

With a pennysaver, they advertised smog check for 14.75 + cert. fee. However, the technician told me that it costs 40 out the door with the coupon. I know it is illegal however, I didn't want to argue because I don't want to waste time to look for cheaper place.
