On top of the great customer service, the office was clean and well-kept, with plenty of seating for a smaller spot. And the AC? Next level, definitely appreciated. Pricing was reasonable too. They accept card (including tap-to-pay) and cash, which made it super convenient. I'd definitely go back for the cute guy behind the desk too no but seriously will be using this location for our next smog and personal referrals we were in and out less than 30 minutes. I had a horrible experience and will never go back. I found them online and headed down there, but realized I'd arrive a few minutes after they closed at 6pm because of terrible traffic. I called ahead and spoke with the employee who said that he understood and would wait for me. I got there at exactly 6:03 PM and the place was completely locked up and shut down. I was shocked, I called the business and nobody answered and the voice mail was full. Their neighbor said they left several minutes before I got there. Fortunately I did a quick Google search and found another smog test center called D & S Automotive that was open until 8PM and just a few minutes away. I called them and went down and received excellent service from Mike. It only took a few minutes, he was very friendly and even offered my handicapped brother a bottle of water. Juan was the most excellent guy. Even though one of my newly replaced oxygen sensors failed the test, he calmly told me that the computer needed the car to drive more miles to complete the amount of cycles that were required before the sensor locked in. I'm currently driving the car extra miles so that I can finally pass the test but Juan was super cool ant totally relaxed. I put my trust in him because he seemed very knowledgeable. I would give 6 stars if I could!!!!!! So I got there and there was a sign that said "Be back in 20 minutes". Of course, that didn't leave a good initial impression but I decided to wait anyway. After approximately 15 minutes, someone came back and thoroughly apologized for the wait. I told him I had to be somewhere at 2:30PM and he took my car in first and even brought out a chair for me to sit and put a fan right in front of me because it was hot (so sweet haha). Price was awesome!!! The service was quick! The two gentlemen that helped me were so genuinely nice, trustworthy, helpful, and took into consideration that I had to be somewhere at a certain time. He popped my hood looked for one second and said no I can't do it go away. I asked why? He started getting aggravated and replied. I SAID NO! At first the technician seemed friendly and almost guaranteed me that my my Honda Civic 98' would pass. He said it would be 31 dls with cert included, so I left and when I came back (30 mins later) he informed me that Ithaca failed and when I asked him how much he would charge me to retest it he said it would be 25 dls (retest fee) plus 8.75 (cert.) when in his coupon it CLEARLY STATES "pass OR free retest". So, not only did I pay 22.75 for nothing but now he's not honoring what his coupon states. When I asked him about the coupon he became hostile and said "I normally charge 80 dls for this car" to which I replied, "really? C'mon I'm a girl not dumb". I drive a Dodge Ram 1500 and this guy beat the prices of other shops by over 50%. The Truck passed with no issues. Though I had already read that part, Luis notified me before we even began to make sure I was fully aware and ok with the price. During the service, he informed me of everything he was doing; was very friendly and quick... He hustled the ENTIRE time, and I mean he literally half-jogged back and forth between my car and the computer the whole time.
