We had dinner at Adele on our first night in Prague since it was in our hotel (convenient) and had good reviews. We ate outdoors which was lovely but the table next to us was smoking so that was disgusting! I figured they would be done with that cigarette soon, and leave, but apparently people linger after dinner in Prague so we just suffered thought it. Indoor seating looked crowded, seating on top of one another so I didn't want to move indoors. Not necessarily the restaurant's fault but a big memory for me. Dinner was good. I had the salmon and vegetables which was delicious, served with a small salad. My husband had a caesar salad with chicken which he said was mediocre. Service was not overly friendly. Good for convenience. They also serve breakfast buffet which is packed with people from the hotel. They do allow the public in; not sure of the price.

Food not ordered but serves are average and prices too high for a glass of wine for such a lack of ambience. Service is multilingual and ok, better than average. Walk 2-3 blocks away from main tourist area for better selection and pricing. Do not recommend :/ My attitude might've been improved a little bit had the hostess been a little more friendly when we approached for sitting outside... She gave us the full cord press as to whether or not we were gonna order food when we didn't really know for you or we're gonna order food we just really wanted a couple glasses of wine to leisurely decide on what we were going to do for dinner. It was a little awkward and a bit rude to give us such a hard time about it and then finally begrudgingly. give us a seat outside. Ultimately, based on this, and the fact that the pricing was just Ludacris we decided one glass of wine each was enough and we left.

We had just arrived in Prague and wanted to eat somewhere close to our apartment. We chose this restaurant located in Namesti Repuubliky and I have to say that we chose wisely. The waiter was very professional and brought out delicious bread that was served along with a small ramekin of salted roasted peanuts and a ramekin of olive oil and vinegar. I thought the addition of peanuts was an unusual and welcome addition. In fact, they made me crave roasted peanuts so much that we had to pick up some from the nearby supermarket to keep in our apartment during our stay! We shared a bowl of the Potato Leek Cream soup and it had the most delicious broth. You have to order all of the soups in Prague. Seriously, so good. We also shared the VEGE pizza with tomato sugo, dried tomatoes, ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, and parmesan and the Veal Cheek in Red Wine with mashed potatoes, and marinated onions Borettane. I read later that Borettane onions are a type of Italian pearl onion that are flat and sweet. They are harvested, washed, peeled, and then quickly blanched before being stored in balsamic vinegar. I really enjoyed the way that the pizza was presented with the larger pieces of sundried tomatoes that made it really nice to eat if you like to fold your pizza when you eat it. Very nice flavor and crust. The veal cheeks were very very tender and wonderful accompanied by the mashed potatoes and onions. I am usually a big planner when it comes to our meals and I did not plan this ahead of time. So, we were delighted with how well everything turned out. The atmosphere inside and out is very lovely and there were a lot of families and perhaps locals which is nice to see. There was a family nearby and the mother and daughter were playing cards after their meal! That made me smile. I loved the ambiance outside, but did not enjoy the cigarette smoke. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return.

Outdoor seating for buffet breakfast, very enjoyable, all sorts of food to choose from, really well done breakfast. Service was excellent, staff were super friendly, and helpful. One of the senior members of staff, walked us through what was available and how it worked and showed us the buffet, so we could decide what we wanted to do. Our waitress was wonderful, friendly, helpful, providing great service. One major thing, that we did not find anywhere else on a trip, free refills of coffee as part of the breakfast. I made the most of that! One other thing, they had a sign that said no smoking from 730am-1030am, another huge bonus as European outdoor seating is marred by so many people lighting up cigarettes and blowing their smoke across your dinner. Loved the place, and as you can see from the picture of me sat down, a great view of the square to go along with the fabulous breakfast

We didn't want to fight the crowds in old town square so decided to try this place. We were guided to the cocktail bar where we were able to order food and drinks. The margherita pizza was excellent. The Caesar salad was refreshing and fresh. I also ordered a whiskey sour which was made to perfection. Service was friendly and quick.

Reservation recommended. Had a great dinner for 10! Excellent service. We arrived early and had a nice wait at the bar area. Our waitress and the greeter were very friendly. Ambience is somewhat classy, good for a date and also for friends and family gathering. Potato + leak soup was creamy, rich and very tasty. Recommended for cold winter. The veal cheek was also very tasty, great texture, great balance with the mashed potatoes. The star of the night was dessert. They have an excellent display where you can fall in love with many options. Mango tarte was my favorite. Strawberry cake and Pistachio were a tie for the second. They also have a good variety of wine to choose! We will be back!

What drew me here, was the decor I'd seen online. It looked beautiful, and when we actually got here, it was as gorgeous as I'd imagined it would be. We were seated promptly and given our menus (iPads). To be honest, we'd had a big lunch, and I had a bad cold, but still couldn't resist ordering the cheeseburger. It was great as far as I could tell. It was hot and I did get hints of flavour and I liked what I could taste. The ingredients were all fresh, and it came out in good time. The staff were friendly and they got our orders correctly (my sister made a modification or two). The place is clean and vibrant and situated well within a main shopping square in Prague. You really do need to sit indoors though if you don't want to get blasted with smoke. Europeans smoke like there's no tomorrow and it's disgusting and horrible, so do ask to sit indoors if it's a problem for you too. I would love to come back here again if I get back to Prague one of these days, and I would definitely tell my friends and family to try it as well. Good prices, good food and service and beautiful decor as their website attests to.

Beautifully decorated and centrally located on the square. Adele's staff will help you to relax after a long day of site seeing with their kind demeanor. The dishes are masterfully presented and taste marvelous.

Food was decent and plentiful. Service was somewhat slow and possibly not trustworthy. Sitting as a group we were assured we could get separate checks. Instead, we were asked to report to the waiter what we had ordered, and he totaled each bill. Even though this was a "high tech" restaurant with iPads for menus, they were unable to supply any type of detailed bill. We believe we were greatly overcharged, and had to argue our total until it was correct ( I hope!).

i popped in here bc it was close to my hotel and i just wanted a light bite before bed. i didn't have a reservation and the hostess graciously sat me. i like the menus which are on ipads with photos and the food was very good; however, i am pretty offended by my gen z waiter. i was wearing long baggy shorts that rose to just above mid thigh do to the way i was sitting. he came over to me and "politely" told me that they were too high. i looked around at other diners including young girls wearing short shorts, skirts and dresses. i then googled prague dress code wondering if the city is highly modest. it is not. thus, my conclusion is that the kid was offended by my legs which are no longer 20. so if you are not as hip as is this up and coming generation you may want to try a more age appropriate restaurant (for the 40 and older crowd). i am attaching a photo taken of me in the offending shorts moments after i left the restaurant so that you can draw your own opinions. i do want to add that i am from Manhattan so i understand that us tourists can be annoying. nonetheless if you work in hospitality realize that your city, town, what ever it is benefits from tourism. any negativity you cast will remain in someone's memory bank which will forever taint their impression of their stay. so if you are a young ageist, you probably want to hide your opinions while at work.

This was just the appetizer bread that came with the meal.

It was totally picturesque. But I wasn't hungry. So I regretfully moved on without eating there. Imagine the elation a few days later when someone in our group booked a dinner reservation for us at the same place I was regretting having missed! With a group of a dozen of us, I think someone ordered everything on the menu. We were all thrilled. We had appetizers , cocktails and entrees -- everything we had was great! The restaurant is family-owned and we were treated to the son being a primary server for our group. Now and then dad was part of the picture too and we enjoyed the added dynamic. Pretty sure the son is on point for Americans as his English was on point. They were great hosts!

I truly could live happily on toast, boiled potatoes, fruit, and Diet Coke. I'm also both a vegetarian and someone with a fairly limited palate, so I didn't think Field would be a hit for me. WOW was this an amazing experience! First: gorgeous space. Comfy tables, set far enough apart so we didn't feel crowded, and it didn't get loud. Beautiful artwork on the ceiling. Bright. Cheery. We loved it. We are visiting our son who lives a few hours south of Prague. My husband and son are fabulously adventurous eaters and they gifted me with this outing to Field, a Friday lunch reservation at 1:30 pm. Lunch seems the perfect time to come as the restaurant was not totally booked and we had so much attention from staff, including the front desk, wait staff, sommelier, and bartender. But I'm guessing dinner would be a blast, too. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Our lead waitress was Michaela, and she was the most polished and professional server I've ever met!! We felt so well cared for. In our 3 person party we had me: a vegetarian, and our son who has severe food allergies, to peanuts, pine nuts, and most nuts. 2 of the 3 don't drink any alcohol. Amazingly, it was not a problem at all. In fact, they were prepared!! There was a vegetarian prix fixe menu, with both a large and a smaller option, plus we could order the 'non-alcoholic' version of the wine pairings. So we did. My son had phoned ahead to inform them about his food allergies, and Michaela and the bartender confirmed them when we were seated. The staff was so welcoming and completely knowledgeable about ingredients. They did a fantastic job keeping my son safe, like bringing out his dessert first so it would come close to the 5 other pastries that included nuts. The bartender made him a special cocktail that was hazelnut-free. The 'pesto' was made with pumpkin seeds instead of pine nuts. The staff told us the ingredients of every single dish and cocktail!! And literally showed us! Our waitress brought over a tray that included things like snails, crawfish, and artichokes, and then she told us where they'd sourced them in Czechia! Except the crawfish, as we learned they are a protected animal in Czechia, so they are brought in from Germany. We loved that part, hearing where all of these beautiful ingredients came from. I'll include a few photos from both my vegetarian and their regular prix fixe adventures. The pea soup was my favorite! My son said the deer main dish was the 'best thing I've ever eaten, in my entire life'. I didn't take photos of the non-alcoholic cocktails, but those were lovely. Especially a super fun foamy pomegranate one!
