Stoleti's was a great find our first night (two couples) in Prague and we never found better. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, plus the food was creative and well prepared. We knew nothing about the Czech wines and they helped us pair with our courses... all excellent. The stuffed portobello was a stand-out starter. I had the special of the evening, pheasant with Czech bacon potatoes. My wife loved the trout fillet. Everyone enjoyed the meal and finished with fire!

I was starving but wanted something close to my hotel to eat. I checked Yelp for some local food and found this spot. I was warmly greeted immediately upon walking in and asked if I wanted to sit in the front or back of dining areas. I chose the back away from the door and windows to avoid any possible cold drafts. The decor was nice and the place had a few patrons. Prices were reasonable and I was surprised at their large selection of items. I chose the roasted duck with red cabbage and potatoe dumplings. Honey, I enjoyed everything on my plate. That duck was nicely seasoned and one of the best I've tasted in awhile. I was full and wasn't sure if I could handle dessert but my waiter, Mirick convinced me to try. He was a sweetheart, very professional. He told me to make sure I bring cash for tips because a lot of places in Prague dont let you add the tip with the bill using a debit/ credit card which I understand. Now back to that dessert. I ordered the powdered mini pancakes, blueberries, vanilla icecream with this delicious sauce. Uhmm uhmm I had to hide this protruding stomach when I stood up. Everything was well made and hit all the right spots. I would definitely check this spot out if you're in the area.

Best meal so far in Prague. I started with a beet root and goat cheese "salad" that was mostly a big chunk of grilled goat cheese with beets and a tiny bit of arugula. It was very tasty, but probably not so healthy. My duck confit was delicious, on top of some red sauerkraut and with some dense dumplings on the side. And, for the third day in a row, we had sweet pancakes for dessert. These were again the best, since it had dark chocolate chips, blueberries, and creme fraiche. The servers were very polite and friendly. This restaurant is really great. It's away from the tourist chaos around the main square or the mala strana.

I have to really show my appreciation for the Století Establishment. Our first meal in Prague was here. A Perfect meal all around. So nice, we ended up eating there twice! Generous portions, friendly staff, one waiter is quite fluent in English, which makes ordering quite pleasant. The chef, I've tipped my hat twice, the creations from this kitchen is worthy of your time and culinary pallet. If you happen to be in Prague, you won't be disappointed! The atmosphere is quaint, the prices are more than reasonable, they'll accommodate any request you ask of them within reason, and not gouge you for the request. Tonight, my wife and I enjoyed what would seem a selection of small plates that consisted of these amazing prawns in this tomato sauce, that you would really want across any pasta dish. The potato soup was perfect, and the portabella mushroom with cheese over spinach was just delectable. The vegetarian couscous with mixed vegetables was just a breath of fresh air from the "interesting" plates from other establishments that we've tried so far. They have this 11º "blond" draft, not quite sure if it is their own creation, but it was as delicious as the first time I had it there...and I can say, I've sampled several of Prague's blond blends, and nothing really compares. You won't get a bad meal here, and you won't go wrong... really give it a shot... you'll be quite surprised!

Quaint restaurant nestled on a quiet corner across from the rotunda, near the St. Charles bridge. We visited around 9:00 pm on a Tuesday and there were about three couples dining so it was very quiet. We opted to sit in the first room by the entry door which was comfortable. We ordered the portobello mushroom with Gorgonzola appetizer which was very good. Is was small but very tasty. I ordered the salad with fennel and salmon and it was ok. There was too much fennel, in my opinion and not enough salmon. The salmon wasn't very flavorful and was chopped up into little pieces which I thought was a little weird. My friend ordered the pork and potato pancake. Even though it was a "meat and potatoes" meal, it was pretty small and light. She said it wasn't very flavorful and left her a tad disappointed. The service was slow but, as Americans, we tend to want a quicker dining pace. We were never checked on during our meal, which was typical during our stay in Prague. With slow service, small portions, and average meals, we opted to leave and grab a small desert elsewhere. It seemed like forever until we got our bill, and I was all packed up and ready to go. Two meals, one appetizer and a Coke, our bill was equivalent to $32. The women's rest room door has a direct sight line into the dining room with close proximity to the first table.

I was so confused by the different reviews between trip advisor and yelps, so I gave up the first night in Prague. Walking along the river tonight, I remembered this place was nearby so we popped in. Nice environment, extensive menu, excellent service and tasty food. Roasted duck with red cabbage and potatoes dumplings- super tender duck meat, crispy skin just perfectly roasted, delicious red cabbage to cut the grease, the the potato dumplings were moist and tasty. Steak with steak fries- the steak was a little tough but tasty. The steak fries were hot and freshly made. The dark beer was good. Total bill was 925 Kč, about $50.

Amazing service !! Really good more traditional dishes, didn't think I would be a fan but I was pleasantly supposed. We had the chicken and the potato pancakes with mushrooms - both were great. Rice pudding with apricots was also wonderful. Definitely recommend.

We were in the neighborhood looking for a different restaurant that ended up being totally booked for the evening. The Stoleti looked inviting, so we gave it a try. We tried the beet root salad, venison special, and a vegetarian plate with couscous and grilled vegetables. The selection was quite enjoyable, and went well with the local dark beer. Venison can be difficult to prepare, but in this case the house hit the mark with a quality piece and perfect preparation. The flavor was mild and the spices did not overpower the venison. Our waiter spoke good English and took the time to make sure that we understood our selections. We may make a return trip during our short stay to try some other interesting menu items.

Great local restaurant. We had the roasted duck, roasted vegetables and salads. Fast and friendly service and the prices very reasonable. We will be coming back again. They offer outside seating on the street or indoors.

I made a reservation a month in advance, but did not know I had to specifically request for tables outside on the river. When we arrived, only a few outdoor tables were taken, but was told the rest were reserved, so we were seated indoors instead. When we finished our dinner, the same few outdoor tables were occupied. I don't know why the restaurant couldn't just stagger the guests for the outdoor tables according to their reservation times.

It was my second visit to Prague so I was taking my time to see more than the "must see things." As I said, I stumbled onto the restaurant because I was taking in the park where artists were painting, people were reading and I pulled out my phone to use the Merlin app to identify birds that were singing. It was totally picturesque. But I wasn't hungry. So I regretfully moved on without eating there. Imagine the elation a few days later when someone in our group booked a dinner reservation for us at the same place I was regretting having missed! With a group of a dozen of us, I think someone ordered everything on the menu. We were all thrilled. We had appetizers , cocktails and entrees -- everything we had was great! The restaurant is family-owned and we were treated to the son being a primary server for our group. Now and then dad was part of the picture too and we enjoyed the added dynamic. Pretty sure the son is on point for Americans as his English was on point. They were great hosts!

Great place if you want to try something other than goulash and the other Czech fare offered around town. Pro tip: they charge you for the bread basket if you eat a slice. It was like 10 crowns.

I truly could live happily on toast, boiled potatoes, fruit, and Diet Coke. I'm also both a vegetarian and someone with a fairly limited palate, so I didn't think Field would be a hit for me. WOW was this an amazing experience! First: gorgeous space. Comfy tables, set far enough apart so we didn't feel crowded, and it didn't get loud. Beautiful artwork on the ceiling. Bright. Cheery. We loved it. We are visiting our son who lives a few hours south of Prague. My husband and son are fabulously adventurous eaters and they gifted me with this outing to Field, a Friday lunch reservation at 1:30 pm. Lunch seems the perfect time to come as the restaurant was not totally booked and we had so much attention from staff, including the front desk, wait staff, sommelier, and bartender. But I'm guessing dinner would be a blast, too. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Our lead waitress was Michaela, and she was the most polished and professional server I've ever met!! We felt so well cared for. In our 3 person party we had me: a vegetarian, and our son who has severe food allergies, to peanuts, pine nuts, and most nuts. 2 of the 3 don't drink any alcohol. Amazingly, it was not a problem at all. In fact, they were prepared!! There was a vegetarian prix fixe menu, with both a large and a smaller option, plus we could order the 'non-alcoholic' version of the wine pairings. So we did. My son had phoned ahead to inform them about his food allergies, and Michaela and the bartender confirmed them when we were seated. The staff was so welcoming and completely knowledgeable about ingredients. They did a fantastic job keeping my son safe, like bringing out his dessert first so it would come close to the 5 other pastries that included nuts. The bartender made him a special cocktail that was hazelnut-free. The 'pesto' was made with pumpkin seeds instead of pine nuts. The staff told us the ingredients of every single dish and cocktail!! And literally showed us! Our waitress brought over a tray that included things like snails, crawfish, and artichokes, and then she told us where they'd sourced them in Czechia! Except the crawfish, as we learned they are a protected animal in Czechia, so they are brought in from Germany. We loved that part, hearing where all of these beautiful ingredients came from. I'll include a few photos from both my vegetarian and their regular prix fixe adventures. The pea soup was my favorite! My son said the deer main dish was the 'best thing I've ever eaten, in my entire life'. I didn't take photos of the non-alcoholic cocktails, but those were lovely. Especially a super fun foamy pomegranate one!
