Today (2/16/2025) we ordered the appetizer platter and the meat lovers BBQ platter for take out. For the Meat lover, it gives two choices of side, we chose Mac&Cheese and Cornbread. When we arrived home, a 40 min drive, unpacked the bags to notice no side. We called Addy's to ask what happened to our sides and told us no sides are given to the Meat Lover's platter. Go to "on line order" it specifically said two sides. I will never recommend a dishonest establishment, this is one of many. Everything was solid, food, service, & cleanliness of Addy's. We got there as soon as they opened from their lunch and were greeted with a smile, staff were very helpful and pleasant during our entire meal. I got the burnt ends and they were nice and smokey, but not dry, adding the bbq sauce gives a nice sweetness as well (huge portion). The side's weren't amazing, but that seems to be the trend with most bbq spots. Will definitely be back to try more things! read more

I came here with some family as I would see the Instagram posts for the restaurant and I wanted to try something new. I haven't tried many barbeque places so coming into it I was excited. The service was nice. The workers took our orders with no issues. We even had a high chair as we had a baby sitting with us. I thought the food was tasty. Meat would fall off bone. Each dish was filling and left room to share. I got their Addy's soda which I think they make themselves which was a very smoothe drink and went well with what we ordered. Whoever I was with felt the food was bland. Probably because they were used to eating at other restaurants. I thought it was fine. Nothing to complain about. Ordered to go instead of dining in and I'm glad I opted for that choice because it was freezing in there. It was about a 30 min wait for the food so I waited in my car. The Barbecue Beef Ribs were good as well as the cornbread but the veggies were bland with unmelted butter in them. We ordered the appetizer platter and were really disappointed. The wings were horrible, and the tenders were completely over-sauced. The quesadilla was just okay, nothing special. The only decent items were the fried appetizers. Overall, the food looked nothing like what's shown on their social media. The food was amazing I got the jerk chicken which was tender and fell right off the bone. My son orders the cheesesteak which was also very tender and all of the portions and sides were huge definitely had to take some home. This place was incredibly disappointing. The portions were cheap, the meat (including chicken) was undercooked, and the food tasted awful overall. It's frustrating to see suggested tipping at a takeout barbecue spot, especially when the quality is this bad. The short rib sandwich was juicy, perfectly cooked and so filling ! Pricey but, so worth it and fed two of us ! We also ordered the cheesesteak which sadly, was extremely dry and over cooked but, the short rib made it worth it. Not your typical BBQ joint... in fact I can't really put my finger on it. Addy's serves such a wide variety of dishes that seems a bit eclectic and fusion-y at first but somehow works (i.e. wings, sandwiches, platters, lassis, and bubble tea?). The wings and burgers that we've tried here were all flavorful though, and portion sizes are generous and filling. Definitely a great spot to come if you're hungry with a big appetite! read more

Had lunch $20 lunch special brisket with side of potato n scope of oily sticky rice, portion was OK at best nothing like what they advertise, I asked for BBQ sauce they said that is extra!!!, I also paid $29 for brisket plate ( same time I ordered lunch) to go it comes with two sides I chose Mac & cheese, when I got the $29 togo order I noticed the meat portion is way smaller than the $20 lunch special I just had , the cashier assured me the portions are larger, when I got home I saw the meat portion is way smaller and immediately knew I got ripped off. It is simply 4 slices of fatty strips of brisket meat ( they sell the fat too instead of trimming the meat) I also saw they bring already some cooked meat in plastic containers from another location, the place does not even smell like bbq joint at all. It is unusual to give one star when the food was pretty good --- but I cannot go higher based on our experience. We came in at 8:20. We gave our order to the rather rude server. Our food got to the table at just after 8:40. At 8:55 a server came to our table and said we had to "wrap it up in 5 minutes." (Exact words.) In most of the restaurant world, the posted closing time means kitchen closing. But EVEN IF they mean that 9:00 is everyone out the door time, then DO NOT SEAT THE PARTY IF YOU CANNOT GET THE FOOD TO THEM LEAVING A REASONABLE TIME TO EAT. OR AT LEAST WARN PARTY THAT THEY HAVE VERY LIMITED TIME TO EAT. I went to Addy's and had a great first experience! The staff was super friendly and were quick to seat my party down. Since this was our first time they were great with giving some recommendations as well. The food was really good. We had gotten the chicken tikka Mac and cheese, chili chicken sandwich, short rib sandwich, and brisket sandwich. The Mac and cheese was surprisingly good not too much tikka flavor which I liked and the amazing crispy cheese on top. Out of the sandwiches by far the short rib was the best. Amazing flavor and super juicy. The brisket sandwich had a nice smoky flavor which was enjoyable. I definitely recommend trying out Addy's I will be going back a second time. read more

YOU'RE BETTER OFF GOING TO DOMINOES. In summary - Extremely disappointing in every aspect. Unfortunately this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in my lifetime (decades). For starters, when we (party of 3 - 2 adults and a 4yr old) walked in we sat about 15-20 minutes for our server. There were TWO families already seated (otherwise, not very busy). We asked an employee (in passing) if they could take the order for us since we've already been waiting so long without so much as a greeting. Said "waiter" obliged and accommodated the request. We attempted to order fajitas as an appetizer, we were told they weren't available. My girlfriend tried ordering a brisket cheesesteak, same response. She then tried ordering another dish and again received the same response. My daughter (4) asked for several drinks which we were also told were not available. We FINALLY found a few menu items and placed our order. Chicken tenders and fries (for the kiddo), chicken Amarillo dip (appetizer) chicken and steak mishkaki and beverages.... Then we wait IN EXCESS OF AN HOUR. No beverage, no appetizer, no kid meal and my 4 y/r old wining about being hungry and thirsty....Not even a check in or follow up on the delay. Just a "hurry up and wait" environment. Eventually, a beverage was brought over for my baby, and 10-15mins later for my friend. Mine hadn't come at this point. We decided to pay for the beverages and leave to go elsewhere. Myself and daughter went out to the car, there was another 2 man party who walked out behind us bec they also had not been served. By the time I was in the car, my friend had called saying the owner/cook had come out to say the food was ready and being brought out. ... I wish we would've left like we intended to. The food is not even subpar in IMO- "chicken lucy juicy" lacked flavor and tastes like nothing. Chicken mishtika is lackluster, the fresh beverages are meh ... The dip, chicken fingers and homemade fries were the best items on the menu. The tab? $120 for disappointment! We did not finish anything ... The only upside was the location... I will preface this with I tried this place when it first opened. Ambiance was fine, service was also okay I can't remember any issues with that also besides a pretty long wait without it being very busy IMO. Unfortunately we tried a bit of everything BBQ, side dishes, sandwiches and the katsu dish (breaded chicken breast) and everything but the katsu was bland. You would think that at a bbq place a deep fried thin chicken breast was the best dish we had, cooked perfectly with amazing texture. I also remember being served room temperature C&C colas that were 3-4 bucks. I come from a food industry background and that's a crazy mark up for a can of bodega store soda. While I was disappointed that nothing stood out flavor wise and all the hype from social media (the reason why I tried this place) I was hoping for better but again I have to reiterate that I went very early on and maybe some of these issues have been addressed. read more

Word of advice make sure you do reservations before you go there do not depend on the telephone number to make your reservations make your reservations via the website. If you don't, you'll be like me and wait over an hour for your food, but I would have to say it was worth the wait the food was absolutely delicious, the service was absolutely amazing.
