Addison Coffee Roasters, long may she reign. We've been coming here once a week every week ever since we moved here three years ago. Even since we bought a house and moved further away we STILL will only get our coffee from here. The service is exceptional, the staff will use "foodie" terms when describing the coffee but not in a patronizing way, and they're honestly great people to learn about coffee from! Everything is roasted in house, and they serve as a supplier to many local restaurants and even Central Market. I've only ever had an excellent experience here, and I tell everyone I know about it! If you are looking to get your usual but also try something new, they will give you great recommendations based on where your palate is at, and will often give you a small sample to go of whichever beans you want to try... very cool! My favorites include their (I grind my own and brew in a French press): Fair Trade Mild Espresso Mexican Mocha Ethiopian Harrar Texas Pecan Ethiopian Yirgacheffe ***Pumpkin for the holidays*** It can't be beat, and their seasonal and flavored blends are on point! I look forward to fall and Christmas flavors from ACR every year!

If coffee is what you enjoy then I highly recommend you come here. But better yet, if getting freshly roasted coffee beans is up your alley then even more. Located just off beltline in Addison although can be a little difficult to find. But once you do you'll be happy you discovered A.R. The choices they have are plenty to satisfy everyone I believe. Many types of roasting flavors and custom orders are offered. They discount beans that don't sell after 2 weeks of roasting which is still fresher than any store bought stuff. That's usually what I buy for the office brew. Friendly and helpful staff is ready and eager to help you along the way. I always have questions to steer me in the right direction. These were my 2 coffees for my personal stash all under$10. That's almost 2 lbs of beans. I call that a deal. Come give some love to local roasters. Thanks

I attended a cupcake and wine event at Mad Hatter and received a goodie bag. Inside the goodie bag was a little sample of Addison blend drip ground. After brewing at home and having my very first sip, I knew I had to have more! The coffee made me so happy in the morning! I stopped by to pick up a bigger bag. I'm happy to call this my usual coffee roaster from now on!

My first time is the little coffee shop/distributor/roaster. Talk about know your coffee. They asked me how fine I wanted my coffee ground. Yep, I am a fan of them. The location is small but smells super yummy and they have a lot of product. You can purchase coffee her but not get a cup of coffee, but you can taste a sample of a fun brewed coffee. I also spied some loose leaf tea for the tea drinkers. So come and visit the local coffee mavens and learn more about coffee. It's such a treat!

Great little shop with a variety of coffee and tea. For 6.50, I got a half pound of a dark Costa Rican blend coffee, which tastes amazing. Not being an expert on coffee by any means (more of a tea person) even I could taste a huge difference between that and the stuff I normally drink. It has so much flavor and I look forward to coming back and trying other ones.

Where does ACR roast their coffee? How can I get the most freshly roasted coffee?

Coffee is roasted on-site at this location.

Is it also a coffee shop, can I enjoy coffee by the cup?

I don't usually grab anything from the bakery case, but everything always looks so fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented that it's tempting every visit. You can tell they take pride in what they offer. Circle is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It's the kind of service that feels genuine and makes you look forward to coming back. Whenever I'm in the area, Merit Coffee is an automatic stop -- great drinks, great people, great vibes. Always a highlight! P.S. There's always folks working here, so it must be a popular spot to answer a few emails.

Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.

Their bourbon barrel aged coffee beans smell incredible and taste amazing! I recently served the coffee to a group of my friends during brunch and all who were coffee drinkers were blown away by the flavor. It is delicious hot, however it makes a killer cold brew which is how I served it. Cold brewing helps the coffee bean to retain as much of the bourbon flavor as possible. If making your own cold brew seems like a tedious and daunting task, you can always opt to get one of their ready made cold brew bottles and just crack it open and enjoy! I am definitely in love with this newly discovered gem in Frisco. In addition to the cold brew bottles and hot cups of coffee they also sell bags of whole and freshly ground beans which make the perfect gift for the coffee aficionado. Stop by and have a sample when you are in the area, you won't be disappointed!
