Hurry up and order, we are closing in 12 mins.. Lol. We were rushed while we tried to give this place our business apparently they were too busy cleaning to be able to take a few mins and not rush. I have had much better service here during previous visits and while the product is not amazing. The service was.. But we won't be coming here again. Passive aggressive attendant. I mentioned that there hours clearly state that they are open until 8pm.. And they want to Leave at 8pm which is not good for business any way you slice it.

Java & Hopps opened up about three weeks ago, we were driving out of Addison Circle when we noticed some of the locals hanging out in front of the store window. We ordered a frozen caramel coffee and a regular frozen coffee. The frozen caramel is very similar to a Frappuccino and tasted yummy, I think with the frozen coffee they'll get better at texture overtime, it pretty much tasted like ice. Nonetheless, the prices here are about 40% less than Astoria's, which is one block away. We're hoping this place is here to stay, especially when Addison Circle events occur, folks would just walk on over and grab a beer or seltzer whenever. Service is great, the staff were polite and welcoming. Next time we're walking the dog we'll be sure to try their ice cream's and milkshakes, nice little addition to Addison Circle!

I'm so glad they added this restaurant inn at Addison Circle. This restaurant is the perfect place to grab a coffee or tea with a friend or to grab ice cream on a colder day. They have outdoor sitting and it's right next to the restrooms in the park. Dog friendly area and very nice chilled ambiance.

Mediocre coffee tasted more like syrup than coffee. Service was okay but seating area is nice.

The place has a variety of seating, is clean, and isn't too loud. There were a lot of people studying and working. I didn't have the best experience. They had their Fall drinks written on the menu and then after explaining to me what the Johnny cakes latte tastes like, they told me it wasn't available until Tuesday, which was misleading. I tried to order a seasonal peach tea drink, and they told me they were out of it. At this point, I was frustrated and got the golden latte, which tasted awful. It was so ginger-y and not smooth at all. It tasted like the equivalent of a tough-to-get-down juice shot. I ordered a breakfast veggie sandwich, which wasn't bad, but my friend and I both ordered it for dine-in, and for some reason mine came out in a to-go box. This was super odd and there wasn't an apology or anything. The sandwich was okay - the avocados weren't ripe yet and were kind of hard. The brioche was good, but $10 for something I could throw together at home in 5 mins was unimpressive. Overall, I won't be back. Ascension in Frisco has seriously the best service, with an expanded menu, and coming here was so subpar and disappointing.

If you're someone who finds traditional matcha a little too strong or grassy, this is a great option. It was lighter, fruit-forward, and the mango flavor came through nicely. The pastry case also caught my attention--everything looked fresh and incredibly tempting. I didn't get a chance to try any this visit, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the pastries next time. Overall, a nice spot for a lighter matcha drink and worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different. Staff was sweet and organized as they were a bit busy.

Trisha took my order and was super awesome at making many great recommendations while Miriam cranked the beverages for the people ahead of me. Loved the GF option for an almond loaf. This reminds me of a wonderful home cafe mixed with a nice southern coffee shop. They even have seating outside for a beautiful day like the day I went. Very Austin vibes. Seating options are from regular wood bench to a cozy couch. Loved the live plants that add fresh air and a nice atmosphere. They had low playing music that was very urban so you can carry a conversation while supporting smaller artists and working on work. Headphones if you'd like your own music would be great and wouldn't be interrupted with the music playing in the shop. Biscoff caramel latte: Wonderful flavor of coffee. I was fearful it'd be too sweet but it was perfectly sweetened. The Biscoff crumbles add the Biscoff flavor and the caramel isn't overpowering. It's a soft balance of the two together. The foam was pleasant and would recommend hot. Personally would love a stronger Biscoff flavor cause Biscoff is my favorite cracker. But other than that, a super solid beverage. Almond Loaf (GF): The crumble and moist texture were perfect. Not too crazy of a GF taste. Different but wonderful. The top has a crumble similar to Almond croissant that is so satisfying if you're craving a lil more sweet with your bite. Together: Wonderful together. The almond loaf isn't dense but it doesn't completely fall apart either. Super happy.

It's located inside of a retail strip/courtyard. It was high noon and HOT so I was excited for a cool drink. The staff were sweet. You could tell they loved their jobs. Upon entering I noted their fridge with options to purchase milks and other small grocery finds. My absolute favorite part of the cafe was their prayer wall where patrons left all kinds of prayer requests. I got teary eyed reading the vulnerability and pleas from those needing prayers. It was beautiful! I ordered the banana and blueberry iced matchas with cold foam, both half sweet. I think I'll try them again with their full sweet option and see if I could taste the flavors better. Not going to dock them though, it was my choice to modify.

Getting inside was a tiny bit confusing since it's part of a larger complex and not immediately obvious where to go, but once I figured it out, everything was smooth sailing. The staff was friendly and respectful, and service was impressively fast. My mom and I stepped outside for literally a minute after ordering, and when we came back, our drinks were already ready. That said, it did taste a bit like a rush order. Drinks: * Coffee: solid and enjoyable--no complaints there. * Matcha: unfortunately mediocre. Dallas isn't exactly a matcha city, and this one confirmed it. Very lip-smacking and not something I'd order again. Vibe: Where this place really shines. Super cute ambiance, great music playing, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. There were plenty of people working behind the counter--even during a slower moment--so it feels like they could easily handle a crowd. Food: Didn't try it this time, but everything looked great and there was a nice variety. Overall, I'd 100% come back, especially to work or relax. I'd just skip the matcha next time and stick to coffee. Fantastic ambiance, good service, and a space that makes you want to stay awhile
