As someone who has been I think 5 plus years as a Yelp Elite, and I don't want to get into the details I'll simply say "don't". I don't want to get into the details of this place, or their "values" but as someone who hasn't ever rated a church let alone a church cafe I'm telling you don't. Not if you're single. Not if you have kids. Just don't. You can think whatever you want from what I'm saying. Theres specific things that I've never heard full time employees say and then say they don't want their spouses to say. There are specific things that I've heard have happened in "Celebrate Recovery" that I've never heard as acceptable and definitely not legal that this church allows. I'm going to leave it at just simply "don't". Theres no way that if I had kids that I'd allow them to go into this church. Theres no misunderstanding. There is no exaggeration. Theres literal words that the leadership has said that they openly said they don't want their spouse to hear about. This isn't holier than though. This coffeeshop is the KING of church coffee shops. It's a massive complex with a man man pond, multiple seating levels inside and out. Tons of cozy seating, plenty of places to plug in... this space would be great for working. It's hard to understate how cavernous the space is... I saw a sign from the fire marshal that puts capacity in the lobby at over 700 people and I believe it. There's a kids play area and several monitors flashing upcoming events at the church. Tons of clean cut Christians sipping their coffees and chatting. I've heard other reviewers rave about the affordable coffee prices here - the coffees seemed reasonably priced to me and equivalent to what you'd pay at any other shop. I ordered a caramel latte and it was absolutely amazing. The chai coffee cake I ordered was a bit dry and bland. The location off the freeway felt a bit tricky to access, but there's tons of parking once you're inside. read more

This place is huge big seating area and I was surprised that so quite. A lot of people was there but really quite and clean place. Nice interior design. I wish I have time for seating there and enjoyed this place. Ordered two iced americano but my one was need to really sweet because I love sweet. Coffee was amazing. I don't enjoy coffee with a burnt taste, but this place had a slightly sour and fruity taste, which is my style. Not a cheap price but quality coffee. Definitely recommend this place. Stopped by Watermark Coffee which is located in the Watermark church. When you arrive there is plenty of parking in front of the church. The church is also very pretty with lots of floor to ceiling windows, wood accent ceilings, stone floors and string lights running across the ceiling. The coffee bar is located on the first floor, more near the right side of the church. I ordered a caramel latte which was excellent. Also this church is huge and would be a great spot to work remotely. I can't for my next trip back to Watermark coffee. read more

Coffee is good and reasonably priced. My matcha was $5 with flavor added. There is a lot of seating so you'll be able to get a large table. They also have upholstered seating and outdoor seating. The vibe is really chill. Most people are working or having a bible study. The wifi is fast and reliable. This is a great place to read, chat, or relax and read. They are under construction and so they are located on the second floor but easy to get to. There are signs as you walk in the building. I am not sure if it is normally smaller selection - but couldn't get the smoothie and pastries were limited the day I went. Nonetheless very good chai and latte. Inside of a church - and it's HUGE! The coffee was good and relatively cheap. My normal order (iced vanilla latte (16oz) sub oat milk with an extra shot of espresso) is normally $7+ at a different coffee shop, but here it was only $5! Very spaced apart and a lot of light if you go in the middle of the day. I just visited Watermark Coffee for the first time today and it was an exceptional experience. I paid in cash and wanted to leave a cash tip, but they encouraged me to pay it forward by buying someone a drink in future which I thought was thoughtful! The drink I ordered- a decaf, oat milk, lavender and honey cortado was deliciously creamy as well as sweet, with the deep richness of dark chocolate from the espresso. The space was so spacious, warm, and energizing that my friend and I lingered in the space for a good 5-6 hours before leaving. I would definitely stop by again! read more

Cheap and delicious coffee. The macchiato was made better than some of the ones I've had at Starbucks. This place is gorgeous inside and out. Lots of parking available in the lot (though it is a bit confusing as to how to get there). Everyone is really nice, and it's incredible to see a church as an open community space. A few gripes -- coffee is meh (but cheap!), but they serve a lot of cool protein/energy bars and pastries. Service is friendly, but they sometimes get orders wrong. It's a bit cold inside usually. And if you stay until the evening time when they have services, OBVIOUSLY it will be really busy, and this place borders on chaotic. Somehow, in the best way possible though (coming from someone who is pretty crowd/noise-averse). Honestly, if this place wasn't so far away from where I live, I'd be here all the time. All. The. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. There is tons of seating that is catered towards studying, remote work, or just meeting with friends and community. The town center at Watermark is large with two floors and an awesome loft area. The coffee is good, the people are great, and the prices are extremely fair! While this coffee shop has good coffee for solid prices, I was extremely uncomfortable with the environment that this coffee shop was in. Nobody was wearing masks, and as a person of color I felt ostracized by the all-white environment. In the midst of a global pandemic, people should be cognizant of their privilege and wear a mask. Of the coffee shops I've been to so far in Dallas, this by far has the best parking and seating. They have never been an issue. That might be because this coffee shop is in Watermark church. I got the Southwest Chai, which is when they mix their vanilla chai and the more traditional spiced one. Honestly, the drink was much too sweet for me. Next time, I'll be asking for just the spiced chai, maybe with half the sweetness if possible. I've also tried a café au lait, which was a creamy upgrade from the usual go-to black coffee, perfect for a study session on the first day of autumn. The service here is super friendly, too. The girl who made me coffee saw my University of Edinburgh jumper and we started chatting about how her family is from Scotland and how lovely it is. I love the atmosphere and good energy here (: You're more than welcome even if you're not a member of the church--it's just a coffee shop during the day, so there's no reason to avoid it! read more

There was a variety in seating, super spacious, loved that the lobby is dark/wood tone, which is what we look for at coffee shops due to his eyesight. Was in area looking for non-chain coffee and this place was at the top of Yelp. I didn't look at the reviews prior to arriving and realizing it was a church. After much debate about getting out and walking in, I decided the delay in reaching my next destination wasn't that big of a deal; besides I really wanted some coffee and preferred to give my money to the church business. ....I'll get to the coffee review soon..lol! A nice young man named Berlan (not sure of spelling) directed me to the temporary location of the coffee shop. They are remodeling and expanding the primary location. It is in the Town Center to the right as you walk in. Everyone and I mean everyone was friendly and helpful. I asked 2 young ladies what I should try. Both recommend a vanilla latte. After sampling the drip I decided to try that. To me if your coffee is tastes horrible the latte will require a lot of extras to be drinkable. The coffee is EXCELLENT! It was light flavorful not acidic just well balanced. I did settle on that and will go back and try the latte next. If you're in the area, it's worth going in. Also the energy of the place itself was calming and energizing at the same time. I may drive over to experience a worship service as well. read more

Great atmosphere for studying! Very friendly baristas. Reasonable pricing for coffee and smoothies. The coffee is decent (I got a soy latte). However, I would not recommend the smoothies. While cheap, they're more juice-like and watery (they use store bought juice and blend it with ice). There were also limited outlets.
