It's a coffee shop inside a church. It's nice and quiet during the week days, but once I was lectured like a bible study just trying to buy my latte. I stopped going but the lattes are great and affordable. They have large tables with comfy cushions great for studying and generally quiet, read more

As someone who has been I think 5 plus years as a Yelp Elite, and I don't want to get into the details I'll simply say "don't". I don't want to get into the details of this place, or their "values" but as someone who hasn't ever rated a church let alone a church cafe I'm telling you don't. Not if you're single. Not if you have kids. Just don't. You can think whatever you want from what I'm saying. Theres specific things that I've never heard full time employees say and then say they don't want their spouses to say. There are specific things that I've heard have happened in "Celebrate Recovery" that I've never heard as acceptable and definitely not legal that this church allows. I'm going to leave it at just simply "don't". Theres no way that if I had kids that I'd allow them to go into this church. Theres no misunderstanding. There is no exaggeration. Theres literal words that the leadership has said that they openly said they don't want their spouse to hear about. This isn't holier than though. This is "someone said the quiet part out loud... and it's not only pervy.... I don't want other people to see me with them if this is what they are hiding". read more

Peeps this is a very dope space to study or just hang out plenty of space and seating options. Very cool staff but more like a Coffee kiosk vibe. Grab and go over barista expertise. But overall I love it here. Let's Go! read more

This coffeeshop is the KING of church coffee shops. It's a massive complex with a man man pond, multiple seating levels inside and out. Tons of cozy seating, plenty of places to plug in... this space would be great for working. It's hard to understate how cavernous the space is... I saw a sign from the fire marshal that puts capacity in the lobby at over 700 people and I believe it. There's a kids play area and several monitors flashing upcoming events at the church. Tons of clean cut Christians sipping their coffees and chatting. I've heard other reviewers rave about the affordable coffee prices here - the coffees seemed reasonably priced to me and equivalent to what you'd pay at any other shop. I ordered a caramel latte and it was absolutely amazing. The chai coffee cake I ordered was a bit dry and bland. The location off the freeway felt a bit tricky to access, but there's tons of parking once you're inside. read more

Watermark Coffee - Water feature and shaded seating on the patio. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dallas, Texas

While traveling to Dallas and we need to head out to other city. We got so tired and need some coffee. My friend searched and decided to try this place. This place is huge big seating area and I was surprised that so quite. A lot of people was there but really quite and clean place. Nice interior design. I wish I have time for seating there and enjoyed this place. Ordered two iced americano but my one was need to really sweet because I love sweet. Coffee was amazing. I don't enjoy coffee with a burnt taste, but this place had a slightly sour and fruity taste, which is my style. Not a cheap price but quality coffee. Definitely recommend this place. Nice view and if you are in this area, should try. I will go back this place again when I'm traveling to Dallas!! read more

We went to get a little work done! They have so many places you can sit and work! I will return. I did not try any coffee this time around.

Stopped by Watermark Coffee which is located in the Watermark church. When you arrive there is plenty of parking in front of the church. The church is also very pretty with lots of floor to ceiling windows, wood accent ceilings, stone floors and string lights running across the ceiling. The coffee bar is located on the first floor, more near the right side of the church. I ordered a caramel latte which was excellent. Also this church is huge and would be a great spot to work remotely. I can't for my next trip back to Watermark coffee. read more

Honestly one of my favorite places to work whenever I visit Dallas! There are so many seating options, even if you need to find an area with an outlet. The interior of the church is also beautiful and has a lot of natural light. The workers are so friendly. And the drinks and food are pretty good and decently priced! read more

Coffee is good and reasonably priced. My matcha was $5 with flavor added. There is a lot of seating so you'll be able to get a large table. They also have upholstered seating and outdoor seating. The vibe is really chill. Most people are working or having a bible study. The wifi is fast and reliable. This is a great place to read, chat, or relax and read. Quick note: This is inside the lobby of Watermark Church. You can't miss the building; It's massive. read more

They are under construction and so they are located on the second floor but easy to get to. There are signs as you walk in the building. I am not sure if it is normally smaller selection - but couldn't get the smoothie and pastries were limited the day I went. Nonetheless very good chai and latte. Baristas we're friendly and answered questions on the pumps they add to their sizes. Very much appreciated! Also forgot to mentions loooots of seating which is great. Would come again when in town! read more

Had the iced mocha coffee & blueberry muffin! I most definitely would recommend coming if you need to get some work done or even socializing. The service is great as well! read more

Watermark Coffee - Coffee & business - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dallas, Texas

As others have observed, it's a huge coffee shop inside of a more huge church. Price and service move this otherwise three star review to four; while my latte was only $4 and was served with a smile, the coffee therein was fairly basic in character and flavor. I'd still get this over the big chain place, though. From an ambiance standpoint, there's much, much seating and a pretty good amount of parking. read more

Inside of a church - and it's HUGE! The coffee was good and relatively cheap. My normal order (iced vanilla latte (16oz) sub oat milk with an extra shot of espresso) is normally $7+ at a different coffee shop, but here it was only $5! Very spaced apart and a lot of light if you go in the middle of the day. I went on a Thursday morning and there were some empty seats and outside seating, just hard to find places with plugs (as always). I'm definitely coming again. read more

Great place with affordable coffee + lots of seats/outlets. I love studying here bc it feels very safe!

A coffee shop spread out across the lobby of a church. This is definitely a Texas-sized coffee shop if there ever was one. Spiced chai was a tad sweeter than I expected but still pretty good. Plenty of seating is available spread out across multiple floors. The sofas are very comfortable. If you're looking to work from a cafe in Dallas this is definitely the place to do it! read more

Pro: good coffee. Friendly staff Con: Associated with a church that doesn't fully support LGBTQIA Rights. Also a very small study space read more

Study area! Large open area concept with couches, tables and chairs, some floor outlets here and there but a little difficult to find. Chatter can be louder than a coffee shop. There are a few large tables (~6-8) with hard benches for bigger study groups. There are some 2-person tables on the second floor. Clean bathrooms. Coffee shop is quick and fairly priced. Staff was friendly! Decent parking lot. read more

Our go to place for great coffee that won't hurt your pocket for a simple indulgence. Lots of seating and tables in the lobby for work and conversations too. What I enjoy and appreciate the most are their baristas who knows you by your name when you arrive... Myra is wonderful and we will miss her dearly, but I'm sure the culture hasn't changed. At least, I hope it doesn't. read more

Watermark Coffee - Iced lavender latte with oatmilk and summer breeze.. perfect on a warm humid day today. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dallas, Texas

A coffee shop inside a mega church, so there's plenty of space, tables, and comfy couches! Since they're not relying on coffee sales to pay rent, the price to coffee ratio is hard to beat. Their coffee is not that special, but outstanding coffee quality isn't their main goal, so it's totally understandable. Great place to work, relax, or meet people, but parking may be difficult if you arrive while a church event is going on. read more

Amazing atmosphere, the coffee was awesome. I tried a vegan muffin and it was okay but it wasn't my fav. The options are limited but straight to the point and I love that bc I'm very indecisive. I just visited Watermark Coffee for the first time today and it was an exceptional experience. I paid in cash and wanted to leave a cash tip, but they encouraged me to pay it forward by buying someone a drink in future which I thought was thoughtful! The drink I ordered- a decaf, oat milk, lavender and honey cortado was deliciously creamy as well as sweet, with the deep richness of dark chocolate from the espresso. The space was so spacious, warm, and energizing that my friend and I lingered in the space for a good 5-6 hours before leaving. I would definitely stop by again! read more

Cheap and delicious coffee. The macchiato was made better than some of the ones I've had at Starbucks. This place is gorgeous inside and out. It's so large and the amount of space to sit and work on whatever you need is outrageous. The photos don't even do it justice. I want to bring my daughter out here to play in the huge treehouse room. She would absolutely love it. read more

Food/Coffee: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Value: 4/5 ------ As a study space, this place is great! Lots of seating (more tables upstairs), and PLENTY OF OUTLETS! Wifi is fast and reliable, all musts for a good study space. So much natural light when the weather is nice, and generally pretty calm and quiet. Lots of parking available in the lot (though it is a bit confusing as to how to get there). Everyone is really nice, and it's incredible to see a church as an open community space. A few gripes -- coffee is meh (but cheap!), but they serve a lot of cool protein/energy bars and pastries. Service is friendly, but they sometimes get orders wrong. It's a bit cold inside usually. And if you stay until the evening time when they have services, OBVIOUSLY it will be really busy, and this place borders on chaotic. Somehow, in the best way possible though (coming from someone who is pretty crowd/noise-averse). Honestly, if this place wasn't so far away from where I live, I'd be here all the time. All. The. Time. Highly recommend to anyone looking to add to their list of study spaces!! read more

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. There is tons of seating that is catered towards studying, remote work, or just meeting with friends and community. The town center at Watermark is large with two floors and an awesome loft area. The coffee is good, the people are great, and the prices are extremely fair! I've been studying here several times each week this winter, and I've loved it every time! read more

While this coffee shop has good coffee for solid prices, I was extremely uncomfortable with the environment that this coffee shop was in. Nobody was wearing masks, and as a person of color I felt ostracized by the all-white environment. In the midst of a global pandemic, people should be cognizant of their privilege and wear a mask. It's not hard! read more

Of the coffee shops I've been to so far in Dallas, this by far has the best parking and seating. They have never been an issue. That might be because this coffee shop is in Watermark church. I got the Southwest Chai, which is when they mix their vanilla chai and the more traditional spiced one. Honestly, the drink was much too sweet for me. Next time, I'll be asking for just the spiced chai, maybe with half the sweetness if possible. I've also tried a café au lait, which was a creamy upgrade from the usual go-to black coffee, perfect for a study session on the first day of autumn. The service here is super friendly, too. The girl who made me coffee saw my University of Edinburgh jumper and we started chatting about how her family is from Scotland and how lovely it is. I love the atmosphere and good energy here (: You're more than welcome even if you're not a member of the church--it's just a coffee shop during the day, so there's no reason to avoid it! read more

The size of this place alone makes it a coffee shop worth visiting. The multitude of couches, chairs, and tables make it a fantastic place to grab a seat and study. While the drinks aren't spectacular, the aura, size, and environment more than make up for the quality of the food and drink. read more

Hands-down, my favorite meeting place in that northern Dallas corridor! I am not a patron of the church, but one of their members "lured" me here about a year or so ago, and I was hooked! I'm not really a coffee drinker, more of a tea guy here, but regarding just a very cool, comfortable meeting spot for personal or business conversations -- this place is hard to beat! You'll see casual to "dressed-to-the nines" here, but regardless of how *you* are dressed, you'll feel right at home -- kind of the way you think (and hope) a church coffee shop WOULD be, right? Once they get you...they've GOT YOU! read more

This place is the best!! The fact that it's in a church only made it that much more dear to me. The community at watermark is amazing and so is the coffee. Not only that, but the baristas are rays of light, specifically Kendall! I love their fresh pumpkin muffins and toasted marshmallow lattes. The seating is excellent--there's so much of it, plus the seats are a comfy leather and single tables are roomy, especially upstairs. It's a great place to study or meet with friends! read more

I got a cold brew with lavender in it & a sausage egg breakfast taco, which was delicious. My boyfriend & I loved coming here. There was a variety in seating, super spacious, loved that the lobby is dark/wood tone, which is what we look for at coffee shops due to his eyesight. We'll definitely be coming back here again for dates. read more

Great atmosphere for studying! Very friendly baristas. Reasonable pricing for coffee and smoothies. The coffee is decent (I got a soy latte). However, I would not recommend the smoothies. While cheap, they're more juice-like and watery (they use store bought juice and blend it with ice). There were also limited outlets. Overall, phenomenal place for studying but you kind of get what you pay for in terms of drinks! read more

Was in area looking for non-chain coffee and this place was at the top of Yelp. I didn't look at the reviews prior to arriving and realizing it was a church. After much debate about getting out and walking in, I decided the delay in reaching my next destination wasn't that big of a deal; besides I really wanted some coffee and preferred to give my money to the church business. ....I'll get to the coffee review soon..lol! A nice young man named Berlan (not sure of spelling) directed me to the temporary location of the coffee shop. They are remodeling and expanding the primary location. It is in the Town Center to the right as you walk in. Everyone and I mean everyone was friendly and helpful. I asked 2 young ladies what I should try. Both recommend a vanilla latte. After sampling the drip I decided to try that. To me if your coffee is tastes horrible the latte will require a lot of extras to be drinkable. The coffee is EXCELLENT! It was light flavorful not acidic just well balanced. I did settle on that and will go back and try the latte next. If you're in the area, it's worth going in. Also the energy of the place itself was calming and energizing at the same time. I may drive over to experience a worship service as well. read more
