What a cute cafe! Upon entering, we were greeted with a great coffee aroma, and it made me very excited for our upcoming drinks. The space looked like a nice working location, spacious and with lots of natural light. They had merchandise for sale and also their own roasted coffee beans, which I thought was super cool and also added to the vibe. The workers were also very friendly when I asked for their drink recommendations. For my order, I ended up getting an Iced Lemma Latte, which is their signature drink, and found it a decent cup of coffee. I did wish it had a bit more oomph to it, as it ended up tasting like a pretty standard iced vanilla latte to me, but the coffee flavor was strong and good. A friend tried their Iced Bee's Knees with Almond Milk, and I have to say that I think the Lemma Latte won between these 2 drinks. I'm not the biggest floral flavor fan, but I also don't consider myself a floral flavor hater, and this combo of lavender and honey did not work in this drink with the Almond milk, in my opinion. I've had lattes with this flavor combo before that tasted fine, but something about the drink we got did not feel right - it was like each flavor hit your tongue separately. read more

Came to grab a to go coffee on my way to an art class, and went with the Lemma Latte as that's the signature drink. I got it half caf with 2% and really liked it I ordered for pick up on mobile and it was seamless. It seems nice and cozy inside and can accommodate groups of different sizes. I saw everything from friends catching up to a mixer happening, so very versatile space. read more

This was one of the first places i visited when i first moved here. Great place to get coffee in the downtown area of Carrollton. Its really nice to get a latte or coffee and then walk around to check out all the different shops. I ended up getting one of their seasonal flavor: Caramel apple matcha, and it was really tasty. Hopefully they make it part of their regular menu. Plenty of seats inside, and they have outlets in case you need to charge your laptop. read more

My friend and I have been walking there for years. Today all new staff, and not friendly. We always order off the ala carte menu, three runny eggs. When the server brought the food to our table she began ranting that this is the last time you will get eggs like this, we just fry eggs. She was so worked up she had to stop and catch her breath then told us that we are the reason that there is a line to the door, that we have bogged down their process. Not sure why cooking eggs for LESS time boggs down a process, but she was not kind about it and not shy about letting us know that we were the problem. Very sad. We liked this place. read more

Such a vibrant place with an awesome staff. Ths vibe inside is cool too with many working or doing work meeting. I have never been a fan of pumpkin spice latte but I still tried it here because they told me theirs is usually less sweeter than others and I am glad I tried it. It was really very good. This place is cute! We popped in for the AC but I had a lavender London fog that was just gorgeous, and my friend got the seasonal mango latte which she also liked. The staff were helpful and friendly and the drinks were out within 5 mins. There was plenty of room to sit so it was an excellent hot afternoon day detour. The bathrooms are WAY down the hall as they are shared with other units in the building; they're clean but nothing fancy/special. Overall wouldn't seek this spot out again per se but if I was in the area I would absolutely get another lavender London fog here! read more

Sorry, Lemma. I can only provide a review based on my personal experience with you. The person putting the lid on my cup HAD to have known that the cup rim was damaged. I got in car and took my first sip and the coffee ended up all down the front of me and on my seat due to the lid not fitting securely. As I tried afterwards to put the lid on tight and failed, it was obvious that the barista who made this coffee had to have known there was an issue with the cup. I mean they do this all day long, every day... right????? Added a star since the product itself was good even if the experience was not. Be better. read more

There are some real sweethearts that work here but then there are others who have ZERO energy to empathy for their customers. Most of my interaction have been with employees who don't care about coffee, don't know what they offer, and are generally standoffish. A lot of other negative reviews have to do with employees who arent willing to empathize, serve well, or think on their feet. It's really disappointing especially when their other locations provide the exact opposite experience. Wish the people/service was consistent across their shops. My bestie and I went to, it's a great place. Cozy, friendly and a place you can sit and talk with your food! Brenda had iced coffee and I had hot, the flavor for both was maple cinnamon. It was delicious, smooth, tasty and no bitterness or bad aftertaste! Can't wait to go back. The baristas are so nice. I asked the young man what he recommended, and his favorite is the maple cinnamon, that worked out so well! We also shared a turkey chipotle sandwich on toast and it was delicious. Wonderful chipotle solo, spinach, tomatoes and cheese. It's a definite winner and a do over!! They had some delicious looking pastries but we opted on trying those next time! Haven't had a cup of coffee this good in a while! Had a delicious honey vanilla cinnamon latte and their avocado toast with a fried egg on top. The coffee was perfectly prepared and the toast was bursting with flavor. The staff is pleasant and the shop has plenty of seating. Parking was not difficult but it is street parking, I found a spot right in front of the shop. Get your baked goods immediately upon entering or they will run out! Will be back soon! read more

Delicious! My husband and I visited Lemma Coffee Co this morning for a quick snack and coffee. He ordered the cold brew and said it was the best he's had in Dallas! I ordered the Bee's Knees and holy cow was the a burst of yummy flavors! We also got a slice of banana bread that was dense and delicious; my favorite part was the toasted oats on top! Then, we got the Turkey Sandwich to share. It was also super tasty and had a lovely little spin that made it more sophisticated than a regular-made-at-home turkey sandwich! This was my wife and my first time to Lemma Coffee co and we had high hopes based on previous ratings. Lemma appears to be in a gentrified area of Dallas with a cute exterior and interior surrounded by other modern shops and stores in an older part of town. The inside is modern and clean, but it isn't the most cozy or comfortable seating. I would recommend it as a place to grab a quick coffee or have chat with old friends but probably would not suggest this location, which only had hard chairs or wooden benches, as a place for studying or working for too long. My wife and I each tried one of their unique lattes. My wife had their house latte the "Lemma Latte" that had espresso and some condensed milk and I tried the "Citrus Goth latte" which was a combination of dark mocha with orange zest. I personally love dark chocolate and orange mocha lattes so I was eager to try. Sadly, both lattes were a little lighter than we expected and less sweet than most lattes I have had. I did not get that deep espresso shot taste I was hoping for, rather a light milky espresso with little sugar and just a hint of orange flavor in the back ground. My wife's Lemma latte was a little sweeter due to the condensed milk but she too felt it lacked a stronger espresso flavor we had expected. I will say, it wasn't bad if you like a lighter latte, but it just wasn't for us. The service was kind, quick, and respectful and they had the drinks out in a flash. We didn't try any of the bakery items so I cannot comment on those but if you are in the area you should still give them a try. I know I will try again because I don't want to judge such a cute place on one experience. Wooowwwwwww The flavor of this coffee, the notes that it hits, is mind blowingly good. I got the citrus charcoal mocha coffee and I tasted every single aspect of that coffee and it was DELICIOUS. This might be the best coffee I've had in 2 years. And it's definitely the best coffee in the DFW area. The coffee shop itself is hopping. There was not a single open table. The food-- I didn't try it. But when I saw those grilled sandwiches being made to order and looking that good.... Next time I'll go for a sandwich too. seriously, do yourself a favor and go to this coffee shop. They have street parking but if that's full there's a free parking lot if you go through the alley to the right behind the coffee shop. The pictures in there reminded me of New Mexico. The Sandia mountains, blue sky, wide open road. The coffee shop was like that. You walk in and it feels open. The air is light. The smells are amazing. Lemma is my favorite local coffee shop- the pastries are delicious since they are brought in from a local pastry shop. They no longer offer breakfast tacos. Get the cinnamon cruffin if you don't know which one to get- you won't regret it. They feature seasonal drinks and I don't think I've had one I didn't like. I came in recently and had the citrus rosemary latte and it was so goood!! My sister got the same one but cold and was also really good. A very nice coffee shop in the lovely downtown Carrollton area. I ordered the bees knees and the avocado toast and overall really enjoyed my breakfast. This place got pretty crowded quickly on a Friday and it's not super huge so make sure to get here early. I will say that just how it's laid out, I personally wouldn't really try to stay for a long time to study like I would at other coffee shops. The coffee was well made and I highly recommend it. Just slightly sweet and tasted very balanced. The avocado toast I wasn't too impressed with. It wasn't bad, but it just made me wish I ordered something else. A slice of bread with avocado smear, cherry tomatoes and raw onions for $6 wasn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be. It would be cool if they pickled the onions so your not just biting into raw onion. read more
