Cute little spot, we missed the sign though. there is free street parking if you can find a spot. Located right next to the water where you can walk, which is nice. Nothing else really around there. Was randomly looking for new coffee shops to try out and found this cafe. I was surprised to see all coffees are named after a place in California and I thought this is cool (I moved from California). I would love to try the Golden Gate Bridge, but it was an iced tea. So I ended up ordering the Santa Monica Pier - which is a cloud latte. Btw - love it! I guess because everyone is still kinda new to the spot, so the order took a little while. I also ordered the sourdough with fig jam. Not sure if I enjoyed it because it was just a few pieces of plain toasted sourdough spread with butter + fig jam. My friend and I came here last month and enjoyed our time here. Coffee Cove's atmosphere is peaceful, warm and inviting. The interior is beautiful and I love that there are big windows for plenty of natural light. We spoke with some of the staff and they shared working on upcoming community events. My friend enjoyed her drink and I ordered a banana muffin to go. The banana muffin was delicious and I enjoyed it with my milk. They have plenty of options for drinks and pastries. The drinks and pastries are pricey, so this would be a treat for me when I'm in the area. I love that it's close by to the lake. Coffee was ok, not particularly great. I got the banana maple and could not taste anything other than coffee. It wasn't super flavorful or special coffee. There was dried banana chunks or something on top that made drinking the last bits of the coffee really unpleasant because I'd get weird chunks of banana in my mouth. I have been following the development and opening of this local coffeeshop. Of course when it finally opened, I made sure to show my support. I have been here a few times and brought different people. The decor is inviting with a lovely painting and comforting chairs. They have a variety of drink selections and will eventually settled in. I usually am a mocha at most places but their maple banana latte is tasty. I also love their mugs and latte art. The bright windows with natural greenery is a place to relax. I had their earl grey loaf as well. The owner is so sweet. try to swing by more often before I make it into the office nearby. read more

Great new coffee shop in the Las Colinas neighborhood! I love specialty and seasonal coffees and they had so many different ones. We got the butterscotch and banana maple coffees and both were super good. Perfect ratio of milk & syrup, to still taste the coffee! I saw a lot of people ordering Açaí bowls and matchas and those looked really good as well - matcha was a deep green color so I'll try that next time Prices were also so reasonable! $6.50 for the base coffee which is so great to see given a lot of new coffee shops are charging almost $8 for a base which is insane. I visited on a Friday during the day. The spot had plenty of guests but it wasn't too packed. We were able to find a spot to sit in. There's table options and some more comfortable options of couches. There's a beautiful art piece painted on their main wall and it is beautiful! The lady who helped me was fine. I didn't think she was rude but she also wasn't the friendliest but it wasn't a big deal to me. I had the sunset cliffs latte and my wife just had a simple iced vanilla latte. I also ordered an açaí bowl. We both enjoyed our drinks. I wish mine had been a bit more banana flavored but that's just my personal obsession haha. My wife enjoyed her coffee as well. The açaí bowl was pretty good! It came with a ton of fresh fruit-- strawberries, blueberries, mango, and pineapple as well as other toppings. We spent a couple hours here just chit chatting and never felt uncomfortable or rushed. I enjoyed this spot in every way-- the drinks, the food, the ambiance. The seating area and ambiance were nice, relaxing, and great for getting some work done. It was my first visit, and I ordered the Malibu Matcha. Since it was advertised as a coconut matcha, I expected it to be made with coconut milk, but it wasn't, so I requested that it be made that way. I also added vanilla cold foam and was told it would make the drink sweeter. Unfortunately, the matcha wasn't very good it had a gritty aftertaste, and I couldn't taste the cold foam at all, even after asking for more to be added. For nearly $9, I expected a much better drink. While I wouldn't come back for the matcha, it would still be a decent spot if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to work or study. read more
