Earlier someone posted that their experience wasn't so pleasant. I'm never one to speak up on a…read moreplatform but I definitely needed to especially considering I go to ACR once a week. I went today Monday June 1, 3:35pm staff was great! Seems they are busy and had a shelf full of online/pick-up orders. I typically walk in and see what they have to offer and buy 5lbs on average. When I asked the lady at the front she gladly went to look, unfortunately they didn't have Colombia in the medium roast, but that makes sense! Colombia is a Hot Hot item! They are also a smaller roastery, I bet it takes the staff plenty of time to get a solid roast for all those different coffees, so I never nag them for not having the coffee. The coffee is great, it's local, best of all, it's fresh. She gave great alternatives to my pallet, as I love a light and medium roast, but I need a large quantity. I got the Ethiopian Guji, usually my second choice, and she packed it right up for me. I was in and out in 5 min. They do sell soaps like someone in the reviews said, but it's just a couple, alongside with a minimal amount of merchandise on their shelves. Long story short, they are people too, and the vibe you give out, is the vibe you'll get right back. I overheard the roaster and it seems they are sweet and passionate about what they do. I will continue to come here

Monday afternoon staff provided dismissive service…read more.. I've been a customer here for + 5 years, and I genuinely enjoy their coffee beans, which is why I keep coming back. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. I called ahead to confirm that my order was ready for pickup, and I was told everything was set. However, when I arrived, the staff member informed me that the order had not been started and that they did not have it available. I told her that was okay and that I was willing to wait. What bothered me most was the customer service. The staff member rolled her eyes, and walked away several times without explaining what was happening. When the coffee bags were finally brought out, she walked away again, I still needed to complete payment and receive a receipt. Despite trying to get assistance, I was ignored until I stopped her and asked directly. I've had mostly positive experiences here with the coffee beans over the years, so this interaction stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope management can provide additional customer service training to ensure customers feel acknowledged and respected.

If you're someone who finds traditional matcha a little too strong or grassy, this is a great option. It was lighter, fruit-forward, and the mango flavor came through nicely. The pastry case also caught my attention--everything looked fresh and incredibly tempting. I didn't get a chance to try any this visit, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the pastries next time. Overall, a nice spot for a lighter matcha drink and worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different. Staff was sweet and organized as they were a bit busy.

Trisha took my order and was super awesome at making many great recommendations while Miriam cranked the beverages for the people ahead of me. Loved the GF option for an almond loaf. This reminds me of a wonderful home cafe mixed with a nice southern coffee shop. They even have seating outside for a beautiful day like the day I went. Very Austin vibes. Seating options are from regular wood bench to a cozy couch. Loved the live plants that add fresh air and a nice atmosphere. They had low playing music that was very urban so you can carry a conversation while supporting smaller artists and working on work. Headphones if you'd like your own music would be great and wouldn't be interrupted with the music playing in the shop. Biscoff caramel latte: Wonderful flavor of coffee. I was fearful it'd be too sweet but it was perfectly sweetened. The Biscoff crumbles add the Biscoff flavor and the caramel isn't overpowering. It's a soft balance of the two together. The foam was pleasant and would recommend hot. Personally would love a stronger Biscoff flavor cause Biscoff is my favorite cracker. But other than that, a super solid beverage. Almond Loaf (GF): The crumble and moist texture were perfect. Not too crazy of a GF taste. Different but wonderful. The top has a crumble similar to Almond croissant that is so satisfying if you're craving a lil more sweet with your bite. Together: Wonderful together. The almond loaf isn't dense but it doesn't completely fall apart either. Super happy.

Smooth, bold, perfectly balanced... it's become his non-negotiable order, and honestly, I get it. I don't usually grab anything from the bakery case, but everything always looks so fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented that it's tempting every visit. You can tell they take pride in what they offer. Circle is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It's the kind of service that feels genuine and makes you look forward to coming back. Whenever I'm in the area, Merit Coffee is an automatic stop -- great drinks, great people, great vibes. Always a highlight! P.S. There's always folks working here, so it must be a popular spot to answer a few emails.

Their bourbon barrel aged coffee beans smell incredible and taste amazing! I recently served the coffee to a group of my friends during brunch and all who were coffee drinkers were blown away by the flavor. It is delicious hot, however it makes a killer cold brew which is how I served it. Cold brewing helps the coffee bean to retain as much of the bourbon flavor as possible. If making your own cold brew seems like a tedious and daunting task, you can always opt to get one of their ready made cold brew bottles and just crack it open and enjoy! I am definitely in love with this newly discovered gem in Frisco. In addition to the cold brew bottles and hot cups of coffee they also sell bags of whole and freshly ground beans which make the perfect gift for the coffee aficionado. Stop by and have a sample when you are in the area, you won't be disappointed!
