The staff here were very helpful and friendly and I was able to score a bunch of cute goodies! From character macarons to tiramisu latte, to a cream croissant, to rainbow crepe cakes to cotton candy cheesecake. The only thing I'd say is I wish the AC was turned on/up because it was pretty hot but on colder days it would be amazing. Also note- it's a cafe till 3 pm then opens in the evening as a restaurant but you can still get food before then! Super cool concept! I highly recommend and thank you to the team here for making me feel so welcome! Update: Just got home and tried the pasta- it truly is THAT GIRL. Soooo good. I could eat this all day. And the tiramisu latte is amazing! I love extra sweet things so it was so nice to just drink the tiramisu cream on top first - it was heavenly- then when you mix it it's really well balanced but I missed the sweetness haha bring on the sugar!
Absolutely love the coffee + food options here at Brian's coffee. There is plenty of seating for those looking for remote work coffee shops. I had their viral Korean corn latte which is like caramel popcorn latte (so delish!) and the kimchi cream pasta. Both were so good and fueled me through my work day! It was a great setting to get some focused work done with great food + drink options.
I love this coffee shop. I normally stop in after church every Sunday to get my Lavender/ube latte and a treat whether its a croissant or crepe cake. Everything I've had has been great so far except the ham and cheese croissant. Its just ok. The staff here are always nice, friendly and welcoming. The decor also features fun and interesting items that bring a smile. There's even a cute little robot that goes around delivering orders and speaks a few phrases. Highly recommend stopping in and checking out this restaurant/shop!
We popped in the late afternoon, had I known this place closes at 4pm, I would have came earlier! The space is huge and very inviting. We could have sat here for another hour if time permitted. You can have a full meal or just coffee and pastries, whatever your hankering for! We already had lunch and so we wanted to do some work and art in a nice atmosphere and this place was the perfect spot. I got a hot tea, which comes with a separate kettle and an almond croissant. The croissant was flaky and delicious, a bit messy! Powder sugar everywhere! I took a look at the menu and need to come back to try some of the entrees, like omelette rice and mentaiko, some of my faves.
Brian's Coffee Roasters is SO good. My friend and I came after looking at all the yummy-looking photos of their food on Yelp, and we were not disappointed. They have a super extensive menu of snacks and dishes, and we had a pretty hard time of deciding what we wanted. We opted for kimchi fried rice, shrimp rose pasta, cream croissant, and two coffees. I honestly thought everything we got was SO delicious. The shrimp rose pasta was really flavorful, and the shrimp was super fresh! The kimchi fried rice was one of the best I've had in the Dallas area. We also got two specialty lattes, and my condensed milk one was delicious. If you want the kimbap, I recommend coming later in the day because it takes them some time to prepare. The space is super nice for studying during the daytime. I can't wait to come back again.
This is my first time in town trying this. I would have to say, I would give this place a 3.5 star. They ran out of everything when we got here at 11:00 am. They don't have Kimbap, omelette rice don't have katsu meat, and they don't have other stuff I came here for. Omelette rice: ran out of katsu meat, which make a huge difference for me. Curry sauce was too sweet instead of savory. Egg is good fluffness, however, I don't see the point of getting this dish paying a lot without the meat. Rating = 3/5 Avocado toast: I would give this dish 4/5. It's pretty good texture and combo with cheesy and avocado underneath. I recommend this one Rose pasta: I like this dish the most at this restaurant. Creamy texture but they are stingy on the amount of meat/protein in this dish. If they put more meat into this dish, it would be 4/5 for me Bimbimbap: this is the worst dish I ever have at a Korean restaurant. Who serve this cold on a cold bowl ? Most Korean places serve this on a sizzling hot plate for a reason to mix in with gochujang sauce with an egg. There is not even an egg to mix in. I was very frustrated to even waste money to get this. This should be 2/5. Do not get this dish Overall, some food is good but they ran out of a lot of food for me to order at 11 am in the morning. I was disappointed. They are currently changing management so I am not sure if the quality is better or worse than before. I do like their coffee. However, I would call ahead this restuarant to see if they have the food you wanna try before driving all the way here and end up in disappointment
I got the chance to order a little bit of everything on the menu. The barista on Friday was friendly and helpful with allergies. There was plenty of seats in the whole venue. Music was a tad too loud. If it was for dinner hours, that would be great, but for a brunch vibe, its too loud to talk. Music was on a loop of the same cover songs. The Gorgonzola cheese pasta was pretty good! Perhaps slightly less salty then a regular pasta dish but bites of it with the prosciutto worked great to get the salty craving. No seafood or nuts inside. One Kimbap was $6 and it came with a pretty spicy mayo sauce that was fantastic. The actual kimbap was presented pretty but lacked in the softness department. Brownie Croissant was very interesting the brownie was perfectly gooey, the croissant was needing more butter or to be softer. Hanryu coffee was a 7/10. its decent with its condense milk but felt closer to a viet style coffee bean to me. Slightly too sweet. I am mostly disappointed in the strawberry crepe. VERY one dimensional. the strawberry flavor in the sauce was lacking. Just eating creme and crepe in the end. I may come back for one of the more seafood type pastas or maybe a Brownie Croissant.
Brian- whoever you are, Job well done! That was probably the best cup of coffee I've had. It was so delicious. Very impressive. They were open Memorial Day and pretty busy. I walked up and hopped into line- I noticed all the little notions of the display cases packed with beautiful pastries- near the front they have a display of coffee context and a info on the coffee- etc. Pretty good portions and prices. The shrimp rice katsu was plentiful and perfectly plated. Really lovely. The breakfast sandwiches were slightly spicy, sweet and super savory. Also, they add a side salad to accompany the dish- light and perfect palette pairing! Nice experience, super sweet people- i would maybe change up the congestion by moving the water station. Add a curtain to areas that are not open yet. I saw a fork container but it was empty- not sure if there forks for those not handy with chopsticks- but maybe an option. Overall, really nice spot. I'll check them out very soon!
Service and ambiance is great and the breakfast food was good as well. They also roast their own beans. At night time, this place becomes a sushi bar! The original croissants are very small by the way but the lattes are huge!!
I used to love frequenting Iota Brew Cafe, so when I found out they essentially rebranded to this new concept, I was so excited to check them out. I arrived around 2pm on a Sunday and it was fairly empty except one table with a large family of kids, but as soon as my group got in line to order a bunch of people came in so I was glad to see they were busy! You order at the cash register then they'll give you a an order number which will light up and vibrate to let you know your food is ready to be picked up from their counter. All plates, utensils and water is self-serve. We ordered the shrimp katsu omelette rice (which I was most excited to try), shrimp rose pasta, ube crepe cake and their new special sweet corn latte. I already had high hopes, but everything we tried EXCEEDED my expectations. Their dishes were seasoned perfectly and so flavorful. Definitely get the shrimp omelette rice! My friends said the shrimp rose was one of the best pasta dishes they've tasted. The ube crepe cake was perfectly sweet and melt-in-your-mouth creamy. The corn milk was topped with corn flakes and also delicious and fun to drink. Everyone was saying they can't wait to come back again after our meal.
Cute new coffee shop with a great ambiance, although it looks like they are going to make it more than a coffee shop. They are still building up the place. Ube crepe cake was just okay. Not too sweet but maybe too much cream for my liking. The Ube flavor does come out. Almond croissant was good and I would order it again. The strawberry tarte croissant was good but kind of too dense for my liking. My fave dish was their shrimp rose pasta. Had great flavors and not too creamy. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. Would definitely come back for this.
I visited Brian's after hearing about it in a Facebook group. There was a bit of a line, but service was very fast. The space was big, with plenty of tables. It seemed to have a cafe section, a bar, and more, with many different signs inside and outside. It felt like a bit of a confusing space. I understand that they're in their early opening phase, and when I came in on Sunday around 1pm, there were only a couple of each pastry/dessert left and a few sold out. I got a Lychee Yogurt Drink and Strawberry Croissant Tart, which I picked up at the counter. I'm not sure what the Robot Server is used for, maybe full brunch dishes. The Lychee Yogurt drink was pretty good, very much on the sweet side with tiny lychee pieces in it. I'd get it often if I lived closer. The croissant tart wasn't my favorite, it was more pretty than delicious for my taste. A lot of their desserts seem to be made to be Instagrammable. The strawberries were drenched in sugar syrup and the croissant part itself was baked to the point that it was straight crunch without any soft layers inside. There was also a huge dollop of custard in the middle, which I didn't realize and wished I knew earlier so I could've spread it out more instead of having it so concentrated in one part. My friend got Kimbap, which came with a dipping sauce, and was pretty good. The savory foods and brunch menu looked really good, so I hope to come back and try more of those items!
Awesome breakfast and brunch place!!! We ordered Ok Bae Latte and Han Ryu Latte , both were great. I particularly loved Ok Bae latte which has lavender flavor and not sweet, just perfect for my taste. If you like slightly sweeter but not too sweet can go for HanRyu latte. The K-street toast sandwich was super delicious which is way beyond my expectation, the egg and the sauces mixed so well! if you do not want to have too heavy breakfast, this was the right portion which I would recommend. Their omelette rice was really yummy with the egg and deep fried shrimp katsu. The rice blended well with their sauces and taste great!! The overall service was good, food served fast without long wait. The cafe is spacious and cozy. We enjoyed it. Highly recommended!!
The ambiance of this place is like a chill, Korean cafe mixed with metal modern and wood decor. Service was great and staff was friendly. I saw that they combined this place with a pocha restaurant and so their menu expanded. I was decently surprised that I could still order the expanded menu during brunch time. With that said, I think this place had the best shrimp kimchi carbonara pasta I've ever had. 5/5. My husband doesn't do seafood pasta but he actually ended up enjoying it a lot. All the food we ordered came out perfect and fresh. We liked every single item we ordered and I definitely overstuffed myself. Definitely will be back to this place. read more
First timer here. Came here for an event. Ordered their Ube Ice Latte. Did not feel like the Ube flavor was not all there. Didn't really taste the coffee. The drink could have been better in my opinion. Overall, it was okay. Cute little shop. read more
I'm in between a 3 and 4. Lean towards three bc I think I'd rather try something else first before coming back. The name is misleading bc they have a heck of a lot more than coffee and it's def more Korean. The inside looks more like a bar than a coffee place. The service is okay, it's kind of confusing bc you get bowls/utensils yourself, but otherwise it's a normal sit-down service. They forgot a few things but the pace of food was good. The yuzu coffee was very very unique and great. The mentiko pasta was also super good. Everyhting else was jsut okay unfortunately- wings, sandwiches, bento boxes. Decent, but wouldn't come back again for those things. They said they had some cool desserts but I happened to pass by the dessert display case and it jsut looked kind of sad and sitting there so we skipped it. Love the butt chairs outside though! read more

4.5 I finally made it! First let me say that the staff is so nice! Now let's talk about the food. I got the omelette rice and added spam. This was hands down the best omelette rice I have ever had. My friend got the spicy pork belly bowl; she said it was delicious as well. For dessert, I got the apple cinnamon croffle and yum! The perfect amount of sweetness. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. We sat in there for hours and talked. We stayed so long they brought us complimentary fruit croissants. I will definitely return. That omaurice was too good. The only thing I didn't like was the kiwiade. It was a bit too sweet for me. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. To be honest I was a bit skeptical because this place has so much variety of food so I wasn't sure if any of them will be truly good. However I really enjoyed all the food I had and my friend also said she liked her food. The momo oolong tea was also very good. I could tell that they weren't trying to cut down on their ingredients. I will definitely come back here to try other food as well! read more

While this review is under Brian's Roastry coffee shop, the real star is a hidden gem tucked within this group of eateries. In addition this includes pocha kaya but a place that faces the parking lot called Keel guh ri uem sheek or KTown street food. Ktown Street food is ran by an awesome and authentic auntie whose warm heart can be tasted in her food and service. The atmosphere is relaxed compared to the more formal settings of the coffee roastery and pocha places next door so only adds to the warm neighborhood feel of this "hole in the wall". Whether you eat the bibimbap (great veggie crunch/freshness), kalkoosoo, or stir fry pork, the "momma's cooking" shines through and warms the heart like a bowl of chicken noodle soup for the soul. The kimchi is fresh and in house made along with other ingredients. Auntie mentioned there is no msg but natural ingredients to add sweetness. I have found a great place to go for comfort food and a nice quiet and warm place for my korean eats. Oh the coffee from Brian's was good too Stars: 1 - Just go on a fast or eat dirt 2- Crazy hungry or someone else paying 3- Not bad and not great 4 - Yummy Yummy 5 - OMG! I ate my fingers too! read more

Ok this place is awesome. Typically you get a small cup of coffee and cream everywhere, but not here. Here is like drinking from my coffee mug at home, so I'm never left wondering the size of the cup was bigger. So can we talk about desserts? yum! Only place I've been able to find crème brûlée around here. Totally love coming here! The service is good & people are friendly. The place is differently decorated, and different is good. It isn't a super big place but the way it's distributed with those see through walls gives it a sense of space (I believe). They have smaller tables and bigger tables. Music is playing in the background. Overall a great experience read more

If you're in for a cute cafe with plenty of food options and drinks, this place is for you!! Such a cute place and attached is a pocha for those who are in the mood for something stronger. The Hanryu and the OK BAE lattes are so delicious and would recommend. The spicy buldak chicken sandwich, Moodaepo bulgogi and spicy squid bowls were A1 - can't wait to go back and try their desserts and drinks!!! read more
2.5 starts. I was excited to try Brian's coffee roasters as I've seen ads on Instagram many times. However, my expectation was not met when I dined here on a Friday morning for brunch. When you enter the restaurant, you have to actually go in a little further to find the counter, where you place your order. The restaurant itself is pretty big, but it was little dark all around. Probably a good thing for a restaurant that serves dinner, but not brunch. We ordered omelette rice with shrimp katsu, shrimp katsu croissant sandwich and texas tteobokki. For drink, I had Brian's coffee. Overall, the food was decent. Not bad but not so good either; however, presentation was nice. I could tell that they made shrimp katsu inhouse (bits of shrimp tails were in the katsu). It seems they over-used black pepper on the omelette rice and tteobokki. Coffee was nothing exciting, just regular coffee with creamer and sugar. Price, I think, is too high for what you get. I don't think I would visit again to pay this amount of money for mediocre food. read more
Let's start with what I really liked-- Ok Bae Latte and Hanryu Puff! Ok bae is a lavender latte; the lavender wasn't too sweet and it didn't take away from the coffee, great balance! Perfect ice level too. Hanryu puff is like a cream puff with a different outer texture. Creamy filling that wasn't overwhelmingly sweet or too much in ratio to the shell. The kimchi pasta was good, a little too greasy so it sits heavy. The mini croissant was fun! Ube crepe was okay, good flavor, maybe too much cream, it became mushy once settled friendly staff! got the feeling that theyre still figuring things out as the operational flow/team and interior decor and layout arent cohesive. theres free wifi so yes, study/work friendly but i was thrown off once i got inside because it feels more like a formal restaurant. Plenty of seatings though! I liked sitting at the bar A staff told me its a mix of things-- brunch, coffee, desserts, pocha, etc (?) i just hope they focus on quality over quantity and i hope things won't be as messy as it did when it used to be Iota Cafe! (I love kpop but i also hope management doesn't plague it with tacky kpop decor like they did to iota cafe) read more

Wow when did this place open up. They have some good pastries and gimmicky coffee. Get here early at the weekend because the line goes out the door pretty quick. Service is super slow. Even though they had a lot of people working behind the counter, getting the coffee took unreasonably long. I did t time it, but I suspect a solid 20 minutes. Super cute looking coffee though. read more
Loved loved loved the food... ambiance and service was quick and helpful. Food was flavorful and delicious ! I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about this place. Ube Mille crepe is a must! Definitely coming back read more
I recommend their croissants. It is baked perfectly and taste amazing. Even with fruit cream inside, the croissant still had a crispy and flaky texture. Their iced yogurt drink is pretty tasty as well in this Texas heat - kinda reminds me of the drink Calpis. Another good item they make well is the shrimp Katsu. Taste so delicious! I hate to be that guy but the rest of the food was only average. I tried ordering their coffee with the cute puppy/leaf design, but their machine wasn't working (came at 12:45 pm). I DONT recommend getting the desserts (that's not croissant based). I ordered the creme brulee. It tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for a couple of days and had no crispy sugary top. The omelette rice was appealing to take pics of, but the fried rice within was over cooked and hard to chew. read more

Just opened. I feel it's dishonest to post a review of anything until I've visited more but I do think having the menus for viewing is valuable. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. If you're looking for a larger cafe space than the Starbucks and the boba shops nearby with more classic offerings while still having some decent variety (and another restaurant located in the same building) this is a good visit. read more

Came during soft opening days, but can tell I will be here a lot! The interior is wonderfully built and cozy with attention to detail in decor that makes for a great space. There's a wide variety of drinks (coffee, tea, and others). I tried Brain's Coffee and loved the flavor. The employees were very nice, and the pastries I tried were yummy. They also have a menu of other more full meal options. I would post more pictures, but you should go see for yourself :) 카페 개장 축하해요! 잘 되길 바래요~ read more
The layout of this place could be a bit more organized. The area to order is hidden in the back with little room to stand. We got to the counter and since it was our first time there, we asked some questions that the cashier didn't know. We asked if the matcha latte can be iced and she had to ask someone else, we asked her about the content of the kimchi pasta and she had to step away to ask the question, she must be new because she was not knowledgeable of the food/drinks that were served there. Service was quick but you can still tell that they're a new restaurants with kinks that still needs to be worked out. All the drinks we ordered were ok, the coffee is nothing special, from the latte to the iced coffee. The matcha latte was overly sweet. The best part of the breakfast was the brownie croissant! I would only come back for that! We ordered 2 types of pasta. It was ok, there were a lot of oil pooling underneath. The kimchi pasta came with shrimp but mine were forgotten and brought out a little later. Overall it's worth a try! Definitely need to get the brownie croissant! read more
I would definitely come here frequently if it was closer to me. The decor here is really interesting with different rooms and plenty of outdoor seatings. You order at the counter and they give you a beeper to come get your food when it's ready. We got the Brian's signature coffee and it was really good. The kimbap and coffee came out fast but the seafood pomodoro took about 30 minutes. I noticed the table next to us ordered omelette rice and their orders took a long time too, so be prepared to wait if you order hot food. read more

This place had been on my list to try for a while so we were so excited to eat here. As soon as we walked in, the first thing our group noticed was how quiet it was with some very faint opera playing. We were a bit taken aback and felt like we all had to be quiet as if we were in a library- Not a big deal, though. Just an odd vibe. Then when we started ordering, our server was giving us all like this death glare. It was so uncomfortable. I asked if they had a specific item on the menu and she started saying that half the menu is discontinued in a tone that implied I should've already known that. But I figured that maybe it was just a one-off strange delivery and brushed it off. After we finished eating most of the dishes, we waited for a while for the last dish to come out. Since it was really taking a while, we thought maybe it was forgotten and asked our server nicely if she knew if it was still coming out. Her reply was a rude "I know. Our chef is really slow" in such an annoyed tone with the same death glare. No polite "sorry it will be right out" or "I understand, our kitchen is understaffed" or anything with good service manners. She really didn't want to take any accountability and just blamed the chef in such a callous way. Our whole table was a bit shocked by it after she walked away. She really seemed like she didn't want to be working there or that she was too good to be there serving us? Very pretentious and prideful attitude. I just felt I had to post about it because it is crazy to me that someone with that attitude is working in the service industry. I believe her name was Haley? I think that's what our receipt said, but it was a few days ago on Sunday so I could be remembering wrong. Anyway, the food itself was decent. The omelette rice was pretty good, but the sauce was overpowering with tanginess. We all really enjoyed the beef curry. The kimchi carbonara was sadly not very good. I think there is a lot of potential for this place to thrive, and I do hope they can find ways to improve their service. I probably wouldn't recommend it after such an uncomfortable experience, though. read more
