I want to note that I wasn't greeted when I walked in, which I didn't mind at all. However, after placing my order, I watched at least four customers who arrived after me receive their drinks before mine was even started. When I asked why my coffee was being made after everyone who came in later, I was told it "takes a bit of time," which doesn't explain why it hadn't been started yet. When I pointed out that orders should be made in the order received, I was told the employee working alongside her was new -- which isn't a reasonable excuse for my order being overlooked. I also want to mention that no apology was offered, and the attitude I received in response to a reasonable question felt dismissive. Many customers, myself included, are visiting before work and need timely service. A twenty-minute wait for a single pour-over coffee, especially after being passed over multiple times, is not the experience I'd expect. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving service consistency, particularly around order sequencing and customer interactions.

I went today Monday June 1, 3:35pm staff was great! Seems they are busy and had a shelf full of online/pick-up orders. I typically walk in and see what they have to offer and buy 5lbs on average. When I asked the lady at the front she gladly went to look, unfortunately they didn't have Colombia in the medium roast, but that makes sense! Colombia is a Hot Hot item! They are also a smaller roastery, I bet it takes the staff plenty of time to get a solid roast for all those different coffees, so I never nag them for not having the coffee. The coffee is great, it's local, best of all, it's fresh. She gave great alternatives to my pallet, as I love a light and medium roast, but I need a large quantity. I got the Ethiopian Guji, usually my second choice, and she packed it right up for me. I was in and out in 5 min. They do sell soaps like someone in the reviews said, but it's just a couple, alongside with a minimal amount of merchandise on their shelves. Long story short, they are people too, and the vibe you give out, is the vibe you'll get right back. I overheard the roaster and it seems they are sweet and passionate about what they do. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. I called ahead to confirm that my order was ready for pickup, and I was told everything was set. However, when I arrived, the staff member informed me that the order had not been started and that they did not have it available. I told her that was okay and that I was willing to wait. What bothered me most was the customer service. The staff member rolled her eyes, and walked away several times without explaining what was happening. When the coffee bags were finally brought out, she walked away again, I still needed to complete payment and receive a receipt. Despite trying to get assistance, I was ignored until I stopped her and asked directly. I've had mostly positive experiences here with the coffee beans over the years, so this interaction stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope management can provide additional customer service training to ensure customers feel acknowledged and respected.

Since it's inside a church, some people get nervous about going, but once you walk in, it just feels like a cozy coffee shop with lots of seating. It does get busy with students, so finding a table can be a little tricky during peak hours. This time I tried the Matcha Coco Craze, and it was really light and refreshing. I also appreciate that they have a self-serve water station that's always filled, and the staff is always happy to give me a cup of ice when I ask. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Cuppa has a cozy vibe and plenty of seating, making it the perfect place to catch up on some work or take a break from your conference.
