This place is great! I love the ambiance here and the dishes are reasonably priced. I've been trying to stay fit for Christmas next month so it's been hard to abstain from the good unhealthy stuff; however, Adair Kitchen is the best of both worlds! Yummy and healthy options. I ordered the super foods bowl with grilled shrimp and it was delicious! It definitely filled me up. I also ordered the cappuccino. I'd say it was okay. I probably won't get it next time though. My bill was kinda up there for just a bowl of superfoods and an okay cup of caffeine so that brings it down to 4 stars. Other than that, this place is great! read more

Adorable space near the Galleria for brunch or a coffee chat with some friends. As with most places in the Galleria area, food is pricey, but Adair Kitchen serves up some hit-or-miss dishes. Shrimp Super Foods Bowl - 5.0/5.0. This was incredible, and full of deliciousness. It felt like a next-level, healthier Chipotle burrito bowl. I loved the combination of whole grain rice + kale in both texture and temperature (the cooled kale against the warm rice). The shrimp was well seasoned, juicy, and not skimped out on in quantity. The ginger-miso dressing was tasty, although I'll probably ask for it on the side next time to control how much is added. Banana multigrain pancakes (blueberries added) - 3.5/5.0. I wanted to like these, I really did. You get a fat stack of pancakes with syrup and whipped cream. I thought the pancakes were made with bananas, but rather, you got about 4 banana slices on top of the pancakes. The actual pancakes were pretty mediocre; not too fluffy or flavorful. The syrup helped. read more

Love Adair Kitchen!! I love the openness of the restaurant and how you can see the kitchen from the front door. You go in, walk up and order, and then find your seating. When it's busy, which it was when I was there, it can be kind of a pain waiting on a table but overall it's no big deal. I ordered their Blackened Shrimp and Goat Cheese Salad and a cup of the Lemon Artichoke Soup. The soup was very unique tasting, which is why I ordered it so I was quite pleased with that. I thought the salad was absolutely phenomenal. It was the perfect balance of goat cheese, dressing, vegetables. Just awesome. My boyfriend got the Chicken and Waffles that he said was great, and my mom got the Black Bean Quinoa Burger which was so so. It was a little mushy to be in burger form, but the taste was good. If you're looking for the right portions with healthy and unique options this is your place! read more

This is a good option for a nice healthy lunch. When you walk in you have stand in line to place your order. After you place your order, they give you a number and you go on the hunt for a table. Lol. It was busy but we lucked up on a table. I ordered a turkey burger with goat cheese on top with sweet potato French fries. This was my first experience with goat cheese. It was a little intense but I like it. The next time I'm getting the Super Food Bowl. read more

Adair Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. I have loved every single thing I've tried here. The ambience is great, decor is perfect, and meals are wonderful. Their salads are fresh and very filling, and they never disappoint!!! I recommend above all the pesto chicken pita because it is so good, their pesto sauce is especially good. Also the lemon artichoke soup is very different and very delicious. Great for a lunch date, just keep in mind, it does get very busy! read more

I was there Sunday oct/17 , all staff did great job ,great attitude, service ..... I love this place.

This restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria. No hype. The food was ok, the capuchino was ok, the pancakes were decent. read more

Adair kitchen has some very fresh and healthy options on its menu. I was pleased to find a ton of seating options and a bright and open ambience. The food also came out very quickly which is always a plus! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with the sweet potato fries. 4 stars because the fries were soggy on the bottom and over salted and peppered. The sandwich I thought would be toasted or something but sadly was just on normal bread. (I ordered it with white bread) while being plain, the sandwich was still pretty good. read more

Went for brunch on a Sunday almost afternoon. The line was long but moved quickly. You order your food with some mildly friendly folks at the counter, are handed a number sign, and go find a seat. The decently large space is pretty loud and filled with families on a Sunday. We got our drinks first. The mimosa was decent, and not watered down like a lot of places will do. The Bloody Mary has a real bite! So if you aren't into spicy, I wouldn't recommend it. Chicken and waffles was good, French toast was okay, the chorizo avocado toast was very good! read more

Moral of the story is... I'd dosey doe around this restaurant anytime! It's a little tight getting around the chairs in there but the bright side is, there's enough seating for everyone my dear :) I stopped in over the weekend while house shopping in the area and fell in LOVE. The food is so delicious and they have some excellent meal choices and the coffee.... THE COFFEE made me want to melt! I mixed the regular with pecan and almond milk... The atmosphere is great and the restrooms are nice a clean... They even have great soap! Happy Happy Joy Joy! I really enjoyed my breakfast here. It was a really nice relaxing time and great food. I had the Belgian waffle, with scrambled eggs and a side of bacon. read more

I had dinner here with a girlfriend tonight and had a wonderful experience! Great good, cool atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonable priced! Parking was easy, a bug open lot from Randall's. For a Wednesday night it was packed, every table was filled! There was a short 15 minute wait, but they had a lot of waiting seating available. Once we sat down, we had a hard time choosing something because so many things sounded good. I ended up getting pesto salmon with rice and asparagus and it was delicious! Very filling and reasonably priced at $14.95. My friend got the super bowl with salmon and it was huge! She enjoyed it, but ate only half because it was big! Would really love to go back!! read more

Came during lunch hours when they were busy for brunch. Thought I try their chicken and waffles since I saw a great picture of it. The line started outside the door and it was difficult finding a table. Stood around and finally was able to grab a table. Service and the atmosphere of the place was definitely a great place to hang out and have lunch. This review is going to be solely on the food itself. I was impressed with the presentation of the dish, you have you waffle, with breaded chicken tenders topped with powder sugar, sliced strawberries and drizzled with syrup. First starting with the waffle itself. I was surprised that there was already syrup poured on it compared to a dipping sauce. I felt that the waffle itself lacked plenty of flavor. It served more as a plain bread taste and filler than a nice pairing with the chicken. The combination of the powder sugar and sweetness of the strawberries sort of made it a little better to make up for the plain waffle taste. However I was forcing myself to have a bite while struggling to find additional syrup to give it more flavor. Onto the chicken tender. I'm a huge chicken critique and had my fare share of plenty of chicken, that I can say this chicken did not do me any justice. It was simply a plain tasting lightly battered chicken tender trying to find its way with the sweetness of the strawberries. The battering and seasoning of the chicken needs much more work. Overall experience in food only, 3/5 which I do not recommend trying this dish unless you're ready for a disappointment. It's definitely no where near Breakfast Klub or Jupiter Pizza and Waffles. To put this in short, you're better off making some blueberry frozen Eggo's and buying Popeye's chicken and pairing it with a bite of syrup and that would taste so much more fulfilling. I would still give this place a shot, but you may be better off trying something else. read more

We were visiting Houston and our friends suggested this place for breakfast. First thing it's a cafeteria type of place where you order yourself and you get your own coffee and they bring out your food. I ordered farmer's skillet, my husband had huevos rancheros and my daughter had avocado toast. The food came in stages with my skillet coming the last one at the table. My food came in a iron skillet that was the most 5 inch in diameter. The menu suggested a healthy combination of kale, sweet potato, onion, sausage and goat cheese topped with eggs. To my surprise, in the entire dish there were 2 slices of 1/3 inch thick sausage, 2 half inch cubes of sweet potato, less than 1 tbs of goat cheese and about 1 tsp of fried onion. The majority of the dish was kale and nothing but. There were 2 small poached eggs on top. The dish does not come with toast or anything else at all. And was lukewarm at most. I was stunned. Quickly finished my meal and we left. When I had time to think about this I realized I just spent $12 on kale and eggs. I talked to my family who admitted their food was also less than average. My daughter's avocado toast was cold. My husband's toast came out already cold with butter on the side. So he had to just layer the butter on. He didn't ask for a dry toast. The size of his toast was that of medium size baguette. All of us were shocked at the tiny amounts of food we received. It always blows my mind when restaurants screw up breakfast. It's the easiest meal to make! Needless to say we were starving after an hour. I will never recommend this place to anyone or come there again. There are literally no redeeming qualities. read more

So we came here with my hubby for Saturday brunch and as it was stated in previous reviews line to make an order is out the door and you can't sit down till you order. Pretty stressful you say... We came here with our dog and sat on a patio, ordered food over the phone to go and sat outside enjoying our coffee while waiting to pick up our "To-Go" order Think outside of the box and be smarter than general public lol ;) Good was ready in 10 min and no waiting in line! Yippie win win, food was good too. That's why it's simple 4 stars for a bit of inconvenience read more

Disappointed. I was surprised how lacking the food was after reading all of these great reviews on Yelp. We stopped in after seeing the good ratings on Yelp. Luckily we came at just the right time and missed the line that reached out the door by the time we were seated. I called ahead to see when they stopped serving breakfast. 11. But they serve chicken and waffles all day- great! "We keep the waffle irons on all day" However, when the chicken and waffles got to my table I was not impressed. I could immediately tell the waffle was soggy. It was wrinkled and looked like it was old- tasted old too. Maybe the irons weren't kept on all day? The chicken tenders that topped the waffle were delicious. My partner got a buffalo burger. Nothing special about it either. Sub-par. Maybe we ordered the wrong things? Whatever it was, it didn't hit the spot despite the good reviews. The mint leaves for the water was the best part of the whole experience. read more

I ordered the sirloin burger, at first they brought it out w lettuce tomatoes pickles and onions on it, doesn't say on the menu that any of that's on there. Can't eat tomatoes they make me start sneezing , but they brought me another and burnt it to a crisp where it wasn't really even edible, all you could taste was the char on it. Don't even think it was sirloin , tasted and looked like beef. Manager was awesome though, changed my meal to the chicken and waffles and discounted my burger, he cares for his restaurant. But the chicken and waffles were ass too, the chicken has no seasoning and tasted like fry oil, and The waffle had 0 to no flavor at all either . The pecan chicken was good , my wife ordered it and ate some of hers. Blueberry smash drink was made really good . Need to list everything on their menus that come on it for people w allergens Or at least the servers need to know what comes on it. Would only come back for that pecan chicken and the drinks. I picked up McDonald's and ate that, I'd rather eat canes or bill millers unseasoned chicken rather than here . read more

Very cute brunch place in the Post Oak area. Large parking lot and a decent size restaurant. There were signs outside for a lineup but luckily we avoided the rush and came around 1:30-2pm on a Sunday for a late lunch and there was no wait. You order at the counter and they give you a number, find your seats and they deliver the food and drinks to your table. Lots of tables and booths, and a few larger tables for parties of more than 4. I had the belgium waffle with a side of hashbrowns and a side of bacon with fresh squeeze OJ and the bf had the daily scramble with tomatoes, avocado, and ham... Yum yum yum! The food came out decently quick and it was definitely what we wanted! The belgium waffle was a little crispy on the edges and fluffy on the inside, topped with berries and powdered sugar.. ahem.. I mean topped with 1 strawberry cut into pieces and powdered sugar. LOL.. I think they can afford to add in some more berries, one strawberry is a little ridiculous. The bacon was crispy and not greasy - plus plus! The hashbrowns weren't your traditional hash browns, they had some kind of cream in it to make it extra creamy. It was good but I wanted it extra crispy - and it just wasn't that. The boyfriend's scramble comes with 2 additions and then each additional add-on after that is $0.75. The scramble was fantastic, it was light and fluffy and creamy cause of the avocado - how do they do it?! Portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side - we ended up still hungry afterwards, though prices weren't bad for what we had. Would definitely come back for a traditional breakfast, a healthy option, or for lunch sandwiches/burgers! Delish! read more

I lovr the new Adair Kitchen location. The food is fresh, the workers are super nice and attentive. Everything tastes great. Check them out!

This place is good. Service was good. I have a couple negatives.. bacon was under cooked and the hash browns were a little weird. They have like a cheese sauce cooked in it. It didn't specify on the menu. But I do wish the cashier would have told me that the hash browns were a "house hash browns" instead of a traditional. It totally caught me off guard. It tasted a lil weird as well. Definitely not my fav. read more

Its been awhile since the last visit and realize I need to come back more often. I enjoy the general open atmosphere and design. To me its casual comfortable and has a good base support of clients from the area/neighborhood. The menu is very nicely priced and cheap for the area, but not cheap on the quality of food. Two thumbs up for bang for the buck. Then menu has a nice assortment of apps, salads, sides and entrees all very flexible to swap out what sides you would like. Service could be quicker once seated but attentive once initial consultation was performed. I'm looking forward to trying out the breakfast menu. I'm very happy to finally see a successful resturant in this location to further augment this area of the Galleria. read more

Awesome "breath of fresh air" to Houston. This place I wish we had more of them in Houston. It's kind of like it doesn't belong in clutch city, or if it did it should be in the Heights or something. Great place that serves breakfast, lunch or dinner. Word of caution, if you are headed up there for lunch, get there before 11:15, order your food and watch the Memorial Cougs pour in, otherwise you won't find a table. Breakfast here is fresh, ranging from Parfait, great coffee, pancakes, eggs, etc. Lunch: salads (shrimp and goat cheese salad is awesome), sandwiches (or "sandos" as the kids say). Haven't been here for dinner, but I'll bet its good. They got a bar so I'm sure dinner would be great here, although to me it's more of a lunch place.... Reminds me of a place you'd find on the east or west coast. They have juices as well (like mean green juices, not apple juice). Check it out and careful of the cougs. read more

The chicken and waffles are diabetes waiting to happen. Sexy I know, they over-dosed my waffles with syrup and the GF thought it was so disgusting. However I thought it was the most delicious waffle ever!! You might want to hold off on the syrup if you are not the sweet tooth, check the picture I submitted if you think it's too much. The first time I ate here, it was for lunch. Tip - this place is very popular for lunch. I had a turkey burger and it was probably one of the best I've ever had. Well seasoned and just super mouth watering. I decided to try dinner tonight and ordered the lean turkey meatloaf with garlic parmesan mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Tip - this place is not as popular for dinner! Unfortunately, this meal wasn't as great as the first. It was good, it just wasn't great. I'm not sure if the lean turkey meatloaf was too lean or if the entire meal needed more seasoning but I had to use salt - twice - I typically never use salt (even once). The meatloaf had this cool thick tomato soup like topping (instead of ketchup) and it was yummy but still, the meat itself needed something more. read more

I went to Adair Kitchen for the first time this Saturday for brunch. Overall, the food pretty good but I am only giving it three stars because the service was not great and my glasses were dirty. Food - We got the avocado and chorizo toast that was very good with 2 scrambled eggs on top. I would definitely get it again. The black beans that came on the side were delicious. We also got the omelet with a bunch of fresh food in it with hash browns that was good. We shared a carafe of mimosas with freshly squeezed oj - much needed. Service - I was not impressed. The man that took our order at the front was really great but everyone else we dealt with during our brunch was not. When we received our mimosa glasses, they were BOTH dirty. When we asked someone who worked there if we could have two more, they took the two glasses from me without saying anything only to bring me back two dirty glasses AGAIN. We couldn't believe it. Ambiance - You order at the front and pick your seat. It's very casual (I just came from a crossfit class so you can imagine how sweaty I was). We went Saturday morning around 11am and it was not super packed. The food came out very fast. read more

Obsessed. If you wake up on a Sunday and just want to chow without all the fuss of brunch, then this is your place. I arrived in Nikes and after placing my order in the line, selfishly perched myself into a booth seat with an ample and entertaining view of many hungry folk. The next fifteen minutes were some of the longest of my life, especially since my girl got her waffles in about a minute. If you're dining with multiple, I suggest ordering on one ticket so that all the food comes out at once. But finally and after what seemed like hours of eying a steamy, steel kitchen window and waiters gliding across the floor, my moment came and before me was a feast of skillet eggs, creamy hash, and fruit to feel better. Everything was cooked exactly as I expected and exactly as it should have been, and for that I was grateful. Simply put, Adair Kitchen is where it's at. read more

Do not be discouraged by the long line that may be out the door around Saturday or Sunday brunch times. There's a line because it's so good, but it's super quick. You order you meal up front and find an open table after ordering. There's enough tables that it rotates quickly. Adair Kitchen is a farm to market type of atmosphere that is so reasonably priced. And delicious. Tried several different options, a majority had avocado. And let's be honest, we can't complain about avocado. Great cocktails, as well and a very witty named juice menu. The food presentation was nice and the servers were fairly attentive for an order/seat yourself type of place. The side of fresh fruit I ordered had a hint of mint that was very unexpected and welcomed. Avocado mash was excellent and I paired it with egg whites on top. Adair Kitchen is a casual healthy eats spot with an Austin vibe. From what I've read, you order at the counter during lunch but I went for dinner and it was sit-down service. Adair is located in the same shopping center as Randalls and Ciao Bello so there's plenty of parking. The menu consists of various appetizers, entrees, and salads that are reasonably priced. I went with the mint lemonade with the chicken and waffles. When I think of chicken and waffles in Houston, I think of The Breakfast Klub and The Waffle Bus. Like The Waffle Bus, the chicken at Adair is chicken tenders rather than wings. You get three decent-sized strips with a full waffle dosed in syrup and butter. Great dish, I was impressed all around. Good crispiness to the chicken and just enough syrup. Our waiter was a bit awkward but hey he didn't mean it. I would definitely come back and they their steak next time!
