From the beginning, the team carefully evaluated our existing system and took the time to explain our options. They provided very reasonable quotes for several different systems, with a clear and detailed breakdown of costs so we could make an informed decision. They also helped us identify available discounts and rebates, which made a big difference. A special thank you to Don, who worked hard to justify the investment and answer all of our questions. Thanks to his knowledge and patience, my husband was finally able to get the Daikin system he had been hoping for. The installation process was fast, professional, and handled with great care. The crew was respectful of our home, paid attention to detail, and left everything spotless when the job was finished. We truly appreciate the excellent service from Jesse, Don, Andres, and Ivan. Their professionalism, honesty, and dedication made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Magnolia Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for quality HVAC service at a fair price.

This company is not for your average middle class consumer, maybe more for the wealthy? I don't…read moreknow, but as military family we are certainly not rich enough to use them. The company I use to use went out of business so I picked this company to try out since it's a Riverside local and I've seen their billboard in town. Initial call was for regular summer maintenance and their employee Adrian was nice and informative but did say I had a problem with my mini split that would require a follow up service call. Fast forward to this week. Jesse (also nice employee - no beef there) came out and said he could not determine issue with mini split under the service call ($75) and so he'd have to call the AC manufacturer and talk with them to discover the problem. This would be an advanced diagnostic and a fee of $230 AND I was warned that if he was on hold for a long time it would still charge by the hour and it could be up to $400+ just for him to be on the phone!!! WILD. Luckily he got through in a decent amount of time and during that that diagnostic with the manufacturer on the phone he said I needed a new condensation pump at a whopping $892. I could swallow a $1000 bill (while dying inside) so of course agreed to it, completely my choice. After that fix however the AC was not blowing cold so then he said it needed a leak detection test at $455. So from that diagnostic (are you counting this will be the 3rd diagnostic during the same day!) he said he found 4 flares leaking and to fix them and top of the refrigerant lost I was looking at approximately $1,598 MORE- this is where I finally decided to stop the madness and decline further service. I would be at near $3k to fix a mini split that was less than 5 years old! Granted this company did not do initial install but O-M-G for these prices it was halfway to buying a new one!! They did in the end take off $233 from the final bill because I had signed up for their maintenance club membership on the initial call but after I use my last regular cleaning service from them in the winter I will no longer be using this company. So 1 star for having amazing friendly technicians but minuses all the other stars for the absolutely ridiculous diagnostic charges that don't even go towards the cost of repair and for my air conditioner still not working close to $1400 dollars later.

I'm so thankful I went with them. Initially they said their schedule was full and couldn't service. I was so bummed. Luckily they had a last minute cancellation and they fit me in the next morning. There was a little miscommunication (mostly on my end) and just a simple conversation with him, it was fully taken care of. This is absolutely the company and person you want to work with to fix your heating and air needs. I hope they stay in business forever with this same quality so I could come to them when I need them. They provided a window time frame of when they'd arrive and they came in the beginning of that window. I love that. Didn't wait until the last 10 minutes to arrive and have me sit around the first few hours. Our AC wasn't blowing cool air so they helped change the capacitor and even suggested an outdoor condenser cleaning and took care of it all. No diagnostic fee to pay before coming out! Appreciate no upselling. No hidden fees. Not money hungry. Just an honest guy trying to help others and make a living. Best way to do business, in my opinion.
