When shopping around for pest control for our new home, I was trying to find something different. I hated being locked into my contract and then nickled and dimed every time we had fleas, or carpenter bees and paying extra charges. I heard of Peoples through a friend and learned they cover all of those extra insects, that I seem to get the most. Plus no long term hard, to get out of contracts. My experience was not positive at all. They bought out a company I used for over 7 years at my home and 2 years at my business. My first interaction was over a bill that was overdue that I had overlooked. I was unaware that they had been out to my home without an appointment and my knowledge. I apologized about my mistake but was spoken to in such a condescending tone that I paid the bill and cancelled the service immediately. I would give a -100 score if possible. We were long time Skyline customers. When Bugout took over,all services went down hill. We paid $1,000's for them to rodent proof our attic and when it wasn't working they came out and put traps. They never came back to check on them. I had to call every time for them to Come check them. Once they opened the attic and found a 5ft snake. They didn't ever get it removed and I had to call them two weeks later to come check the traps again. I had to live with a snake and rats running around in my attic and walls. They have destroyed our air ducts. They have ratting holes in out walls and Bugout doesn't care enough to do follow ups. They didn't care about us once we paid for the sealing up of the attic. I finally called a new company and they have come literally every other day to remove traps. They remove 5-7 rats a day. Bugout turned my tiny rodent problem into a full on infestation. My new peat control company found decaying rats in traps that Bugout never came back for. They have the worst customer service and don't care about you or your pest problems. We had a wildlife exclusion done a year ago when we bought our home and there was evidence of rodent activity in the crawlspace and attic. We paid around $2,100 for this and the one year warranty. They performed the exclusion, but rats were still getting in and were hanging out behind our dishwasher and coming up into the cabinet under the sink. I had someone come back out twice since per the warranty, they were supposed to come back as many times as needed to stop the rats from getting in. The space under our kitchen cabinets needed to be filled in with spray foam and twice that they came out the tech's spray foam gun was broken. I was so disgusted and sick of calling them that I had to pay a separate contractor to come out and put the spray foam under the cabinets. He also sealed up a place behind the dishwasher. We stopped hearing rats under there after that. The first person from Skyline who came out to do the initial inspection also told us that part of the fee that we were paying was for them to clean and sterilize where the rats had been. Guess what? When I asked the tech that was the one coming to my home to perform the services about this, he told me "oh we just spray a disinfectant spray in the attic and crawlspace. You have to call and request that." I called the company with my complaints so they sent Stewart out to hear my concerns. He told me that I would be refunded for part of what I paid for the exclusion since it was not all done as promised. I never received a refund and at the end of the day, too much of my time had been spent begging them to fulfill promises. I still use them for my termite bond because it is more expensive to switch, but I laughed and tore the bill up when they sent a bill for renewing that wildlife exclusion warranty! read more

I'm doing this for my mom she has such a kind soul. I also left this same review under google. If I could give them a neagtive I would. They are frauds. Do not take them as your wild life protection. The go was only here from 10:40 and left a little before 2:00 p.m. The so called pastor estimator Mr.James Ivy made seem like the guy was going to go in the attic and patch up the hole that was causing the roof rat to coming through the exhaust system. Also a new attic door was promised. They name sent somebody named Matthew to the house that was suppose be great at his job, but he wasn't just terrible. There was suppose to be another guy helping Matthew out, but he never came. I specifically told the estimator Mr.James Ivy about the that came and gnawing its way through the wood from the exhaust system over the stove. We also told Matthew he did abloustely nothing, so we still got tape over the DANG!!! cabinet. I thought you would be good, but you are not just a bunch of frauds. Do not get them for wild life protection this is a waste of money . A waste of $ 2600 they are frauds don't get them if you want the keep your money. We also have traps in our damn attic when, the estimator told us everything was going to get sealed not a damn thing got sealed. There are even no traps in the cabinet were it's tapped up at. This is the worst company ever and worst experience. The guy that never came and helped out Matthew was Coby. Matthew almost forgot to put back my one year old gutters and, I had to remind him about that this was the worst experience ever in life. Also the estimator Mr. James Ivy never told us if the roofer mess up your work the contract is null and void. I feel like the contract is null and void already because what was promise was not done. There was no difference with the house if we still got tape on the cabinet's and we're not opening it so a can jump on my children. I also told them about the one in the wall were the socket is but did nothing. Just a bunch of frauds. Mr.James Ivy is the worst ever if he comes to your house just send him back. We have a dead rat in the socket. Mr.James Ivory lied about everything. read more
