Just getting ready to renew my yearly contract and could not be happier with this service. When we moved in 2 years ago, we inherited a roach issue. I tried 2 other services in the ATL area over the course of our 1st year in this house- neither really corrected it. I was still seeing 2-3 roaches a month and I am Terrified of all bugs (yes, with a capital T). I was frustrated and fed up with the "service" level of the other companies and tried Dan with Monitor- best decision I could of made. He came in July 2019 and I didn't see any bugs at all until Nov 2019- which was already a vast improvement. He has not had to come since that last Nov appt, there have been ZERO bugs. Best part was he didn't even spray in my home! All chemicals were applied to the exterior which makes me feel safer. Its now a July 2020 and we just had a small roach drop out of the attic - which is typically our issue area since it has the open venting for the roof and the fact that the structure is a town home. I'm posting this here too. I never take to the Internet and write reviews, but this was necessary. I had a technician come in after the original technician who came to serve my property for mice for a follow up. I can tell on her face that she was not happy with the work that was done previously. She actually said that the technician didn't do the service correctly and apologized on her behalf. If I were not so lenient and understanding, I would have been very upset. She said that she was there for the last visit, but that there is still activity going on and to request another service through the meld and to request for her. The lady who came first (Heather or Hannah) lied to me and said that she placed traps where she obviously didn't because when (I think her name was) Bianca came to follow up and I showed her the places she said she said traps , they weren't there. I have kids and there was visible blue toxic particles and reach of anyone. I'm not happy with the services. I know that the company I rent from uses them as contractors, but their management is horrible and so was the original tech that came out. She wasn't very knowledgeable, she was nice but clearly didn't take care of the issue and didn't do a honest and thorough job. This is horrible. You're lucky my son didn't get a hold of it. read more

I checked yelp this morning to find someone who could take care of our multiple wasp nest issues at our new home. Dan was the only one with all 5 star reviews- so it was a no brainer! He called me quickly and was able to come to our home the same day! He was thorough, explained the process, and educated us on preventative measures we could take in the future to stop wasps from building nests. A few weeks ago a repairman told the home warranty co. and me that "bugs" (which had been completely invisible to us) had infested and conked out the control panel of the 25+ yr old dishwasher. I contacted Monitor after hours and was called back within 30 minutes. They were able to schedule me the following day. The owner Dan showed up promptly to the appointment and inspected the premises. Pricing was straightforward with no surprises. The next day my wife noticed that one of the new termite baits in our yard was visible and not cosmetically pleasing. We contacted Dan to see if he could move the bait trap when he came to inspect the traps in a months time. Instead he showed up that afternoon and relocated the baits as requested. Dan was friendly, straight forward and informative. He made mention of the other services he offered, but was in no way pushy about them. He treated our house the day after we got a hold of him. We didn't have any problems that needed to be treated but we wanted the preventative measure. I like the once a year aspect of this treatment. It is also encouraging that should any problems occur he will make it out within twenty four hours to assess and solve the problem. It was nice to talk to Dan as he treated our property. It encouraged me that I had made the right decision that through our conversation I learned that his focus is on maintaining top level customer service. I used Monitor to get rid of an ant issue that had baffled 3 previous exterminators over the years. The pricing was extremely reasonable. Ants are tricky, but the bulk of them were wiped out the first visit. They have had to come back twice so far to follow up with better results each time and at no additional cost to follow up. They are extremely thorough and professional and basically once a year. You can't beat it! I highly recommend them. read more

When I initially switched, I called him on a Tuesday and he was at my house by Friday (he would have been here earlier if my scheduled allowed). Questionable service. --From a customer of Monitor Pest Control service to a building served by the various individuals who work for the company. I found his pest control to be phenomenal when he chose to do his job but his own personal interest in me to be very questionable. In fact, the questions that he (the person who last came to handle to the job) asked had nothing to do with pest control and were more about me and my life and personal business than they were about ridding my place of the pests that keep coming back. I am rid of pests for now but can't be sure what anyone is up to here as a result of having had access to my home. Professionalism goes far beyond just doing the job you were asked to do. It also requires you to know what NOT to do, something few if any know in this area, for sure. Stick to pest control and don't try to become a wizard of other things and you will be just fine. I swear, some people just don't know when to quit. I was not comfortable with anything that left the arena of pest control. He left that topic soundly and didn't seem interested in what true professionals do. I have seen that a lot here and wish they would stop.
