Just love the experience at activate. Way to get your heart rate up. I went to activate over the weekend with my brother, sil and husband. Way to bring out everyone's competitive nature. It is a fun place for all age groups and definitely will be coming back. Give it a try and you won't regret it. We did the 60 minute package

How did I not find this place sooner! I went with some friends and we had the best time here. The workers were so helpful and I really like that a locker is provided. I honestly can't wait to come back with more people.

Such a cool spot for an outing! My team came here for a work outing and it was so much fun! Be sure to come ready to workout because the activities here involve a lot of physical movement. The place is locate at hacienda crossings which has a ton of ample parking. No food or drinks are allowed in the area so be sure to consume prior. They also have lockers for storage. We did an activity in all or the rooms and I would say each one has it's own flair. They have ones where you can go grocery shopping, ones to shoot basketball, ones for throwing balls, laser ones, etc. My favorite was the laser one for sure! You have to be clever with how you navigate through the lasers. Make sure to click the ? on the screen to read the instructions. I'm for sure coming back again!

Came here on a Sunday night around 1.5 hours before closing, party of 5, we had reservations beforehand. We're a mixed coed group in our 30s for context. If you haven't been here before - dress ready to run and sweat. There's multiple rooms with different games of different physical activity tolerance required - including ones where you press matching buttons on the wall, trivia, shooting basketballs, running around the room avoiding lasers, throwing baseballs at virtual asteroids, etc. This place is super fun! We opted for $30 for 60 minutes since it was my first time, and I definitely broke a sweat and was glad I wore comfortable shoes. Thankfully on a Sunday evening, it didn't feel crowded at all, the most we waited for some rooms was maybe a few minutes. I would recommend coming here with someone who has done it before, because there is a sort of a learning curve of how to prioritize your time with the rooms you enjoy playing. The wristbands make it super easy for your group to "tap in" to the screens outside the rooms. They also have lockers where you can store your stuff, and little "prizes" that you can win for earning points (think cheaper things like waterbottles, keychains, etc). It's super fun for people who don't really like working out, and it's a great place to burn off energy. I loved going with a party of 5 because it made the team games really fun to play. There's also water fountains for when you get thirsty. All the staff were super nice when we came and the large parking lot is easy to find space, especially if you come in the late evening (I think if you come on a weekend during the day, it's probably riddled with kids parties haha) 10/10 will come again!

There's 15ish rooms and each room you can play different variations of that game. This is the screen where you pick the game and "tap in"

Came here to celebrate a friend bday. We were a group of 10. We had no idea what to expect but man did we have the best time. If you haven't been here dress comfy and bring your sneakers. We all had such a great time. I came back this week with my hubby for a day date. Just me and him or a large group the games are so fun and added bonus it's a work out. This is my second time there and Jarryl was there both times and super helpful.

Our first time here, and we had a blast! We made a reservation ahead of time, so we were able to check in at the counter when we arrived. We were given wrist bands (to track our gaming activities) and registered ourselves at the kiosk. We got another wristband to place our items in one of their lockers. I liked that we didn't need a key and basically just scanned the band to open/close the locker! The employee gave us detailed instructions before we started, which was super helpful. There are various games to choose from for each room and lasts 1-3 minutes each. There is also difficulty levels to choose from. We were able to play as a team but wanted to also play competitively against each other but didn't know how to. Maybe that is something we can figure out next time. Our favorite was jumping on the colored grids. You get to move onto the next round once you've successfully passed your current round. Because of all the physical exertion, we made sure to stretch beforehand. We played for 90 minutes ($45) and thought that was plenty of time but of course there were some games we didn't get to play. This place is great not only for kids but adults too. Definitely recommend coming here with friends/family!

    saturday morning opening!
    Reina L.

Super fun experience but it gets pretty crowded! We showed up when they opened on a Saturday morning and were able to play a couple games without getting kicked out of the room, but had to wait in lines quickly afterwards. Came again on a Sunday evening around 8:15pm hoping it would be less crowded, but there were lines at every room. The lines move pretty quickly though since if someone's waiting you can only go through one level. Mega Grid and Mega Lasers are the ones that usually have the longest lines so if you get an opportunity, try those ones out first! Coming later in the day is also a different experience - in the Strike and Hoop rooms, a lot of the balls end up on the floor throughout the day :(. In the Portals room, the first time we went in the morning we had one ball which made it a lot harder and when we came in the evening it looks like someone maybe brought in another ball from the Strike room! Doing some quick math, it looks like they allow 20 people for every 15 minute booking online. The first time I went, I think I saw 30 openings so maybe they're working on improving the crowd. There could be as many as 6 groups overlapping at one point so that's 120 people across 12 rooms. Some people come as bigger groups, but a lot of people come on dates so there could be anywhere from 2-5 people per room. Busy, but still a fun activity!

This place is so fun!!!!!! Plenty of rooms and games to choose from. Staff is so friendly if youre w first timer. They just open less than 2 months ago. Once you sign a waiver you activate your wristband which collects all your data for game, coins and when you level up. It saved your data so every time you come back it just adds to the current player. So each game will be a different level when you come back. Reasonably price. Kids age 6 & up. Cant wait to go back

This place is super fun !! We came here for the first time!! all the rooms are super fun. Make sure you wear your gym clothes because it's gonna be a lot of active activity going on. Haha will definitely come back in here again !!!

I had my son's bday party there this past Saturday. It was really clean facility. My son and his friends had so much fun. I do wish they had more seats for parents all they had was 2 small tables and 6 chairs. They also should sell water in the lobby because those kids get so thirsty. If it's your first time coming bring a reusable water bottle or buy water at the gas station and a folding chair.

Didn't know this place existed till my ex husband who did some work here with his company back before they opened. We had a blast and man it was a work out. Fun for all ages and I'm happy there's a place for my kids to go burn off energy. I like how they provide lockers so you can place your things so you can run around. Pricing is a bit high but it's worth it. There's also water fountains in case you got hot and sweaty. You rack up points and can trade in for swag. Each room is about two minutes so you tap in and wait but it goes by pretty fast. Go check it out for yourself!

    Fun for whole fam!
    David L.

Want to game. But also want to disconnect? Wanna have a family wholesome time. That even make grandma slap her knee? Come to activate! Way better than laser tag ( and yes the laser will tag you). And it's got an element of escape room without the weird funky smell. This place is cheap and fun for the whole fam! Best $30 spent!

Ready to rock some mazes and games!

Went here with my wife and two teenage boys and we had a blast. I can see this being a great birthday activity or a small department outing.

We were a bit disappointed because I had received an email that it was drift night, but when we arrived it had actually been the night before. Marketing really needs to have accurate messaging going out. I double checked the email to see if I'd read it right and it indeed had the wrong night listed. Kids were super bummed, but decided to go out and drive and still had a great time. The track was a tad slippery still from drift night so they actually had a few tiny drift moments. They have food and drinks available for reasonable prices. Mostly pub type food, as well as snacks and candy. Lots of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages available. There's a pool table and other games in an arcade area. Plenty of seating options. I love that electric carts are available, as I don't miss having to breathe in fumes with the former gas carts. Yay for technology! Plenty of parking out front. You can register to play online before you arrive or at the door.

At $80 per child for the most basic package on a weekend I expected a higher level of service. Throughout the party, I had to ask for everything. I had to request water pitchers, ask for a candle and lighter, and no one offered to help cut the cake. The staff didn't offer much help coordinating the event. I've had parties at Pump It Up, where the staff was much more attentive and proactive. I also had an unpleasant interaction with an employee (Scott?). The employee's old white car was parked in front of the facility, with its windows completely down and a cracked windshield, and its alarm went off. The employee came outside, WALKED ON THE HOOD OF HIS CAR to turn off the alarm, and then accused me of hitting his car. My husband and the five children in my car all confirmed that I didn't. After confronting me in the parking lot, he walked back into K1 while I followed behind. I found it very inappropriate for an employee to yell at a customer, especially as they were entering the business. The kids enjoyed themselves, but the overall customer service was not up to my expectations. When I book a party I like to be stress free, otherwise I would just host a party at my own house.

She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.

The pros: The space was bright, colorful, organized and clean. The staff were friendly and informative and didn't mind giving us extra paint when we wanted additional colors. Love that you can just walk right in without reservations. The cons: Wow is this place expensive for what you get. Most of their items that you can paint can easily be found in the dollar section at Target or for less the $5 at Michael's. The cheapest item to paint was $15 and those were very small pieces which can easily be painted in less than 10 minutes. My son chose a wooden snake and I chose a window clings wind chime. Each were $22. I would expect more expensive prices for items like this if maybe you get some special tools or paints to use. You simply get a paper plate with acrylic colors of your choice and paint brushes. I do not feel this is worth the price when I can easily replicate this experience in my own home for less than $10. Overall, the idea is great but they need to make this experience more unique in order for it to be worth the price. For example, there is another craft place in Pleasanton that you can create ceramics that have to go into a kiln for around the same price. That is not something I can replicate in my own home and is therefore worth the price.

Minus a star because our waiter kept forgetting things, whether it was one or two sets of utensils, one or two waters, one or two straws, he kept having to come back and forth from the kitchen which is kind of a far walk in the establishment (on opposite ends from our table, really). Light and airy shell with a tasty ahi mix insert. Could very well be the best fish taco I've had - it's not your traditional "here's some tuna and cabbage in a corn tortilla" taco and that's a great thing. It's unique and amazing. Our friends split a pizza and salad and raved about how perfect the pizza was. They wanted a crispy crust and got what they wanted. My wife ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer in her crafty way to embellish her beef hamburger with bacon. She asked medium rare. She got medium rare. Very enjoyable. Our service was beyond great. It wasn't super busy and often the staff gets distracted when it's not busy - in this case our service was perfect. Da Boccery ambiance is obviously linked to all the entertainment that's there but the tables are nicely separated from the courts and simulators, and even during bocce or the simulator, there are comfortable couches and tables if you want to eat there - we did drinks there, then ate in the more "restaurant" area of the place. We will absolutely be going there just for the food and that says a lot.
