There are cracks on the walls and the shackles and rooftop is very old-fashioned but that just adds to its charm. The owners of the shop were so sweet. They offered water and snacks and are just plain genuine. They didn't put any pressure on us to buy or to leave, even though they were closing up. They seemed more content with people just visiting and gawking at the historical site. This place is also part of the ghost tour held during Halloween. Yup, there have been many incidents here. Like footsteps on the second floor, objects being moved, stuff like that. The staircase within the shop gave me a creepy vibe. It is made of old wood and it is narrow. Looking up to the second floor is eerie and uncomfortable. Maybe I felt that way because my friend just told me that the ghosts known to inhibit the Kottinger Barn can be heard walking up and down these very steps. **Shivers** Ohhh ghost stories give me the willys but I love them! The way the owners set up the back yard is cute. It's ambiance is old and used and also kind of sad and lonely for it looked like it was abandoned for years. I can imagine the ghost sitting on one of the chairs, looking out of the yard at the changed world...(there goes my imagination again)

Not only is the…read morevenue absolutely stunning, it met all our non-negotiables (ceremony & reception in one area and close to airports/hotels) to make it as easy as possible for our guests. We worked with Leann and Yoselin and they are absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. The entire staff also did such an wonderful job making sure all our guests were well-fed - I didn't hear a single complaint the entire night. If you're looking for an inclusive venue, Casa Bella is a must. We went with their hors d'oeuvres, 3 course meal, open bar (I was overjoyed when they allowed bloody mary's as a signature drink and it was DELICIOUS) and late night snacks and everything was amazing. They also provided us with an outdoor ceremony tent to help us with the heat. Oh, and they have decorations you can rent at a cost or for FREE! We used Weddings with Athena as our coordinator, Celestial Petals as our florist, Ditto Dianto as our photographer, Benji Films (La Venus Studio) as our videographer, and DJ TN with Twin Spin Entertainment as our DJ/MC. All vendors were already familiar with the venue which made the entire planning a breeze. I hope to visit again as a guest as I will be recommending this venue to all future brides & grooms. Thank you so much Casa Bella!

Our Castlewood wedding was absolutely perfect! I cannot recommend this venue enough :)…read more For one, it's a gorgeous venue with incredible views and spaces. Our photographer had no trouble finding stunning backdrops to use for photos. It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we weren't able to get married in front of the oak tree on the ceremony lawn, but the indoor option ended up working perfectly! Plus, the food at Castlewood is phenomenal. Sandy was an absolute joy to work with while we were planning our event. She was very responsive, patient, and kind while we were navigating the planning process and asking a thousand questions. It's clear that she's very good at what she does and cares about helping people create their dream event. Thank you, Sandy, for helping us celebrate our wedding at Castlewood!

This was pretty much the first/only Thanksgiving that my family didn't cook at home... like ever. A family member of mine is a member here and suggested, as long as everyone one is on board, that we just pay a nominal amount and do our Thanksgiving meal here. The price felt really reasonable ($75 in 2025) especially since no one was stressing about cooking and clean up etc. We had a pretty large group that included my family, in laws, etc. so the convenience was really appreciated. The food was good too. It was served buffet style and they had seafood, salad, plenty of sides, and some carving stations... oh and a dessert area. There were also beverages to purchase. I got there a little early and got a nice pour of bourbon before the rest of my family got there. There was also a professional photographer on the premises to get pictures from the holiday. Definitely a great option to spend this holiday for sure! Parking was very easy - as they have lots of accessible lots and I think the rest of the club was closed that day.

From start to finish, we truly felt so supported and guided throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the venue tour, to navigating contracts, to nailing down details and logistics (menu tasting, coordinating with vendors, etc.), to the actual day of the wedding - the Palm's team was so incredibly professional and efficient, while also being understanding and reassuring during such a stressful time. The Palm's team is clearly a well-oiled machine and executed the entire wedding day without a hitch. We have to give a special shout out to our venue coordinator, Melissa, who is absolutely exceptional! Her attention to detail, kindness, and ability to simply get things done smoothly is unmatched. We were so grateful to have had her as our coordinator and highly recommend her! On top of the wonderful team (this includes all staff!), the venue is absolutely stunning and the in-house catering is amazing! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food, and we can confidently say that no guest left hungry! My husband and I highly recommend The Palm Event Center for your special day!

The entire team was professional, kind, and committed to making our day perfect, and the venue itself is breathtaking. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. A huge part of our incredible experience was thanks to our coordinator, CARLY. She was kind, caring, joyful, and brought so much positive energy to every step of the process. She made us feel supported in a way that went beyond anything we ever expected. She cared about our wedding more than anyone else, family or friends included, and it showed in every detail. Our day would not have been the same without her. The Palm Event Center is stunning, but it's the people, especially Carly, who make it exceptional. We are deeply grateful for everything they did to make our wedding unforgettable.
