My brother-on-law moved 3 trailers full of stuff, going back and forth from Hugo to Blaine before they even got to my house the first time, we all left at the same time. I think they were intentionally slow so they could charge us 4x's the amount quoted to me for an entire day (which is only 4 hours for them). They also broke multiple items, even with their "insurance" I was not reimbursed for anything. I also had to have them correct the contract 5 times before they actually got it correct. This company is horrible, if I could give them negative stars I would. This company is so crooked they are a circle! Response: your crew did not take an unpaid lunch break, it was included in the time they added to my bill at the end. They also very much pressure me to tip them because, as they put it, "This company does not pay us very well." Not only was I quoted roughly $1500, and it ended up costing me almost $5K for the service, I ended up tipping them because they know where I live and I didn't want anything to happen to my wife, and your crew took more breaks than they actually worked. Regardless of what you say, your company is crooked, incompetent, and needs to be put out of business. My next report is to the BBB!

I picked up the chairs the next day. It was a little more than $5 to rent two chairs for three days. They had another guy bring them out to my car for me. The chairs were sturdy and not terribly uncomfortable. Returning the chairs was just as quick and easy as getting them. Will be back if I need to rent some chairs or other items that they carry. They've got a lot of stuff, so if you're having an event, this might be your source!

The worst part was that they lied to me and told me that my contract said that I couldn't pick things up until noon. Nowhere on the contract did it say that. In fact the hours were prominently stated in more than one spot as 7:30 AM - 5 PM. I checked the website too and did not find that statement anywhere. If you are going to stick me for a $24 charge at least don't lie about it and blame me for the problem. You could admit your mistake and just tell me tough luck on the charge. What a terrible way to run a business!

I saw a large transparent garage door for customer vehicle entrance, two available lumber yard style dollies, a clean and modern facility, and one of 2 operating elevators. had come to take none of these things for granted. Extra Space really needs to say more about their amenities on the website. There was a red flag though: no one in the office. That had been a recurring problem with the other facility. I still had some questions not covered on the website and the chat line was busy. I called. That didn't turn out well. I was asked to verify everything that I had just entered online and was asked to enter my CC on the telephone key pad which kept failing. When the woman on the other end said she would get technical help I hung up and started over. I already had my questions answered. After that, I saw a sign in the window saying the attendant was on the property and gave a number to reach her/him. A good sign, but it had just been put there. A few minutes later the attendant showed up. All that was not enough was not enough to take off a star. When you choose a size locker, if there's more than one of the same type available you are shown a map and you get to choose the location. You pay for the lock on registration which is unique to the Extra Space, in which you insert into the specially designed doors. It's easy to use and hard to pick.

I don't rent very often and when I do it is usually a truck for moving. I was in between…read moreapartments and had to rent a truck twice, once to move from apartment to storage and another time to move from storage to apartment...You get the idea. My first experience here was really easy, the truck was $39.99 + Tax and suited all my needs. There was some confusion over my method of payment, they authorize a card for $250 for deposit then you get charged after the rental is returned for whatever the cost is plus mileage, gas, etc. The $250 then gets put back on your card, well in my case they accidentally charged my card, luckily they were able to refund it and there was really no harm done. My second experience was just as easy, I asked for the same thing I had a month ago and there was no questions asked. Once I payed I notice the rate is suddenly $49.99 + Tax. There is no price listing I can find on the web site and when I asked about the change I was told they just moved their rates on the 1st of the month. Seemed a little fishy to me especially since it was May 1st and I was specific in asking for the same thing I just had less than 30 days ago. I would think at the time i was filling out paper work before actually renting the truck someone would have mentioned, "Hey, by the way our rates changed starting this month and it is different from your last rental". I didn't really feel valued as a customer who came back twice in a month to rent equipment and was a little upset I wasn't informed about the change in price. I guess I will stick to my normal process for renting when I need to...Cheapest Option Wins.
