DAYMAKERS MOVING & STORAGE My husband and I hired Daymakers Moving & Storage on October 22, 2018 to help us relocate from our two bedroom home in New Richmond, WI to our two bedroom home in Amery, WI. The weather that day was 60F. The distance between the two locations is 16 miles. We lived in the basement of the house which meant the movers had to use stairs to get our furniture out. Our new location was also in the basement of a house which meant the movers had a hill to descend to get our furniture in. We own a Serta Adjustable Bed and the frame alone weighs close to 200 lbs. Nick and Leighton made the move look easy. Our furniture was covered with moving blankets and then wrapped with shrink wrap prior to being placed in the moving truck. The movers brought our furniture into our new location and set everything up. The condition of our goods upon delivery was excellent! The final moving cost was exactly what we were quoted. The overall performance of Daymakers Moving & Storage staff was courteous and helpful. I would definitely rate them as excellent (5 stars)! Nick and Leighton showed up at our home within the time frame that was given to us when we scheduled our appointment. They were both polite and helpful. They both readily provided us with the name of their company (Daymakers Moving & Storage). They came in and performed a thorough and professional in-house survey to see what all needed to be moved. They answered all our questions in a satisfactory way. They also complied with our requirements and preferences. We were provided with all the necessary documentation. Nick and Leighton were extremely careful when handling our belongings. They worked hard and fast. I have never seen anyone move quicker than these two! I could tell they had worked together before. Nick and Leighton were polite and well-mannered. We had absolutely no problems in our move! Our items were delivered on time to our new location. We did not experience any damaged or missing items. Nick offered us the opportunity to check inside the truck when the move was complete to make sure there was nothing left behind. Again, our final moving cost was the same as the one in our estimate. Using Daymakers Moving has now spoiled me. I didn't know moving could be so bougie! Daymakers working team was a real class act. They treated me with courtesy and respect thru the entire process. The customer service rep reached out to me before the move, he did a video walkthrough of my house so that they could be super efficient when the team showed up, he checked in with me beforehand to see if anything had changed, he let me know about free resources including free boxes and tape and packing supplies I could pick up ahead of time, and he gave me a quote and let me know that it would be more liberal on my end to ensure that I had no surprises on the day of. The head moving guy always asked me any questions he had so that nothing was getting moved or packed that I didn't want, and they respected the idiosyncrasies of my home. For example, I lived on a farm and so there was a lot of outdoor supplies that were just plain dirty. They didn't complain, they just loaded it in a big box! I also had some hard bolts to get out of a swing and a dryer rack, and they voluntarily helped me get them out, even though they were tough little nuggets! I have moved many times in the military, and again, now I'm ruined for anything less than having my day made by this company. I'm not embellishing when I say it was a seamless process. The team also reached out to me afterwards for any feedback on how they could improve, and were truly receptive to what I had to say. I recommend them unequivocally. read more

We recently used Daymakers to help move a family member's belongings out of an apartment and into storage. I grew up in the area, but live in Atlanta now, so we were coordinating from long distance. They made it SO EASY. I've used maybe five different moving companies in the last ten years and Daymakers was hands-down the best. I would recommend them and use them again without any hesitation. They were early (I've never had a moving service be on time, let alone early), the staff was incredibly professional and courteous, and they handled everything with care. I never once felt like something would break or wasn't being handled as if it were their own belongings. These guys hustled, as well. Sometimes with hourly service, you get movers who take their time, trying to rack up the fees. Not the case with Daymakers. They were efficient and exceeded my time expectations by over an hour. Also, I loved that the price included everything - the labor, the truck, and the moving blankets. Other services will tell you something low, but then tack on fees for mileage or blankets. I learned that they hard way before. Daymakers was up front and everything was inclusive, making it very easy to know what we would pay in the end. Lastly, setting everything up with them was easy. I found their service to be phenomenal, but sadly Yelp won't recommend my previous review so I am going to attempt it again. With any review rating of five stars, they are correct. It was the most personal care of my household items I have ever had with a mover. Daymakers Moving and Storage answered my call timely and with the care and concern of my moving needs. I searched far and wide because in my area there is no such thing as a moving company to help me in the manner of my need and customary history of moving events. Then, somehow, the continued Google search provided Daymakers Moving and Storage. Together we made a committed appointment to move me. What a wonderful experience! By those who watched their process, I was asked if the guys who helped me were my family. Well, that is their trend. Treat their customer / client as family and the job gets done with care and concern. It rained the day I moved. They wrapped all of my furniture; not one thing came into my new place wet. Our moving experience from start to finish went so well seeing as how we were uncertain if we would need to store our things or move to our new house. We had to reschedule a couple times and this was a smooth process. I liked the app they use to take pictures of your things so they can give a really good estimate. Angie was great to work with. The packers who wrapped all of our glassware did a fantastic job! The movers were timely and worked so quickly. Took a couple less hours than estimated. They are a well oiled machine. Del was overseeing everything and was so upbeat. Everything was put back together and set up once in the new house. They even moved things around so they were exactly where I wanted them. When putting our TV above the fireplace, a wall was accidently nicked and needed a small amount of repair. Del worked with me to get some dollars taken off of our bill for the repair. The young man that was responsible for the damage to the wall was accountable for it and apologized which I truly appreciated. Would definitely use this company again! read more

Daymakers Moving & Storage made it the most relaxed move I've ever had. I called for an estimate and they were at my home the next day giving me great info about how they did their packing and moving and how much it would cost. They also suggested ways that I could ensure my furniture would not be damaged. On move day, they sent two movers who were on time and very friendly, trustworthy, upbeat and efficient. They made me feel secure that everything would be well taken care of and it was. The entire move from start to finish took 5 hours and I had a two bedroom townhome. They are fast! I also utilize their crates for storage of some of my items that require climate control and its working out great and the price for their crates is very reasonable. Their office staff is very reliable and they are great in always picking up the phone and returning calls promptly. Their warehouse facilities and office space is gorgeous and very clean. Obviously this place is managed very well. I highly recommend Daymakers to anyone who is serious about having things done right. read more

The guys who came on the day of the move were great. They took great care of our stuff, they were very kind, and they worked extremely hard. The price was almost exactly the same as the other two quotes I received from two other companies. So their pricing was fair. I would have given 5 stars except for two small things that made me give the 4 stars instead. On the day of the move it was raining and there were a couple of items they could not get into the house due to mud. They came back a week later and were still not able to complete the job because of a lack of tools. They said they would come back again, but I ended up just finishing the job myself. The other reason I dropped a star was the communication with the office was sometimes slow and frustrating. I would send an email and it would take two or three days sometimes to get an answer back. I also called a couple of times and was unable to reach anyone. I would still recommend this company to anyone moving in the area. The best testament to the quality of the services Daymakers offers is how many times I've already recommended them to my friends and colleagues who are looking to move in the next couple of months. The day I moved, I received a courtesy call from the crew leader, Don, in the morning to let me know that the crew was on their way, which I found very respectful and attentive. The crew (Don, Travis and Diego) showed up on time, worked very diligently and took great care of my belongings and their surroundings. They took their time to make sure every piece of furniture was wrapped and secured. They handled fragile items with extra care, yet still worked extremely fast to bring all my belongings from the third floor down to the truck. They were friendly, polite and hard-working, despite the fact that my apartment building was not equipped with an elevator and was full of stairs! If you're looking for a company and crew that will take the stress of moving off your shoulders (and knees and hips), hire this company. read more

DayMakers completely saved me after American Van Lines failed to make their pickup date, not once, but twice. They worked with their scheduling to shuffle drivers and crews around and we ended up with a great experience despite being completely stressed out because of AVL. See my previous review for the pickup, but the delivery went great as well. We ended up with Allen and two Bens. These guys called every so often to update us on their drive status (since we moved ten hours away) so we could be ready for them to arrive. They got to work straight away and didn't slack at all, despite the 93° heat and high humidity. All of them were super polite to my family and I to a degree you rarely find these days. We're still unpacking but so far the only damages are stuff we packed ourselves and didn't do a great job with. All in all, these folks were great to work with and I will highly recommend them to anyone moving in our out of the area they service. I can't say enough great things about DayMakers. read more

Even with the terrible weather (12/30/19 in the Twin Cities), the time restrictions, and the vehicle difficulties, the crew that completed my move was unbelievably fantastic. They kept me updated with everything throughout the process, provided a thorough estimate, and completed all of the work well ahead of the estimated completion time. The crew disassembled my large furniture items (including a Sleep Number bed, frame and all) and then reassembled everything properly once within the new home. They also provided their own materials for covering larger furniture items and TV's. All crew members, along with the customer service rep, were incredible. They made the entire process easy and as stress free for me as possible. If I ever had a question, I would simply send an email (my preferred contact method) and receive a response within minutes. While I hope to be in this new home for many years to come, I know that if I need to make another move, I will be calling Daymakers. read more

We recently sold our home. I searched for movers in our area. I had two choices, in the Hudson, Wisconsin area. Quality moving and storage (owner Nick Franta) and Daymakers Moving and Storage (Owner Sean). I searched both businesses websites. Quality moving and storage had several bad reviews and a dispute with a customer who claimed they had damaged her furniture. Daymakers moving and storage had many positive reviews. I called Daymakers that day and scheduled an appointment with Sean. He was professional and reassuring. His fees were very reasonable. Daymakers arrived at our home as scheduled. They all work well together and encouraged us to stay during the moving process, if we had any questions. They wrapped a moved our furniture as if it was their own. An outstanding company !!!!! A recent move across the country couldn't have gone smoother with Daymakers. This company cares about customer service, providing reasonable rates, and even working with you around payment circumstances. I went with them because they (were) local to me and offered payment after the move (of a flat rate with no hidden fees), which I believe speaks to a level of professional integrity. The two movers were speedy and moved my things in half the time projected. They did not waste time. My things arrived intact, and fast. With so many moving options, it can be confusing about who to go with. But even with other company quotes at half of what I paid Daymaker's, I questioned the reputability and trust with my belongings. I did not have these issues with Daymaker's and ultimately felt like they were very trustworthy, which is everything when you move. read more

I can't say enough positive remarks about this company. From our first contact with Angie getting a quote to when the movers arrived on moving day everything was smooth and stress free. The moving crew were so careful with all of our boxes and they blanketed and wrapped all of our furniture. They were so careful with our house as they moved in and out in winter. We moved from Western Wisconsin to North Dakota and when they came to unload the truck Tory and Brad walked through the new location with us and got to work. They were professional, fast and just great all around. Before they left we did one last walk through, Tory made sure I didn't need anything else moved to a different location. During my two-day move, the packing crew (Dale, Dakotah, and Tori) and moving crew (Dakotah, Dario, and Casey) arrived on time and were very courteous. They listened to all my concerns, were very thorough, and hit their timelines in accordance with the estimate. I also appreciated the way they packed my household thoroughly and efficiently, and set up everything at the destination with great care -- especially the couple of pieces of high-value furniture I was particularly concerned about. We honestly had the very best experience throughout our entire move with Daymakers!! From the day they picked up our household goods in Minnesota, through the entire storage period of April 2021 to January 2022, and delivery to our new home in Western North Carolina ... we experienced nothing but friendly and professional service!! Daymakers moved me August 2019. Can't say enough great things about this company! Reasonable pricing for 2 guys. Exceptional service from quote to delivery end. Jeremy was AWESOME! Very professional, courteous and energetic. Of course it was raining the day of my move lol The guys put down pads in my garage they'd backed up to in order to avoid making a mess. Very fast and efficient. Had my stuff loaded in 2 hours. I gave 5 stars even though on the delivery end, one of the guys punked out, leaving Jeremy in a lurch. He got on the phone, had the departing guy picked up and a replacement seamlessly added to continue my unloading. I'd never have known what happened had I not gone outside. We were moving our parents into a senior community from their home and found Daymakers in Hudson. They made such a stressful move into something that is now a beautiful new beginning.
