Viladmir and his friend were very frienldly and straight forward. They did a great job moving our stuff. They disassemble the whole bedroom sets for us and secured all the items very well. They also brought plastic wraps and furniture pads with them. Very honest and hard working people. They didnt even take a break and kept going until they were done with the move. The thing that impressed me is that they forgot to give me the four screws for my mirror which wasn't a big deal because I had extra screws but his friend especically came back to drop the screws. Moving is never easy, but Vladimir and his team were fantastic. My move today involved getting everything down three flights of extremely steep stairs and then back up three flights at my new condo. They got it all done in less than five hours and did a terrific job. I was pretty stressed out about this move; I hadn't planned on moving this year until a little more than a month ago. Found their ad on Craigslist so I was sure to be screwed in some form. Spoke with Vladimir on the phone and confirmed fair pricing and arrival time. They arrived on moving day and proceed to tell me they would move the big items, not all of the items for the move that would have taken them the two hours I paid for. They changed pricing on me to move the rest which was absolutely absurd considering we had spoken on the phone. I expect they had assumed since they were there and I had no other options they could hustle me. Would not trust their pricing on the phone and expect dishonestly upon arrival. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company! Vladimir and Andrew was very responsive and instantly available to meet with me to go over all of the inventory I had to move. Their pricing was excellent compared to other companies I called and it included two wonderful employees. They packed up my entire home very carefully, and brought all of the necessary supplies! I didn't have to go out and purchase anything to prepare for an extensive move! They also did a wonderful job putting everything into my storage unit and there is still plenty of space left over. Worst service ever! Never shown up on time! They broke almost all my fragile objectives. Movers also were so rude. NOT RECOMEND!

I will never use this moving company again. They made the experience of moving x100 more stressful than it already is. First, they cancelled the night before our move was scheduled. They rescheduled it to the next day, so we didn't have an issue with that because they also offered us a discount because of the inconvenience. My issue with this company and why I would rate them 0 stars if I could, is that after confirming the new move time the night before, they failed to show up or answer texts or phone calls for 2 hours. When they finally did get in contact, there was no explanation why they were so late. Then, they told us they couldn't get to us for at least another 2 hours and we had to pay for more time because now only 2 movers were going to show up instead of the 3 we agreed upon. When we paid, we didn't receive a discount because they said it must have just been a misunderstanding and they would have never agreed to it, even though I had the texts proving otherwise. Overall, I would save your time and sanity by choosing a different moving company. read more

They showed up ten minutes early (which was great), and moved my entire apartment into their truck in under 45 minutes. They were super fast, professional, and friendly. WORST MISTAKE! Used this company over the summer and was previously really happy with their service and efficiency, well fast forward to last weekend I have changed my mind entirely about them. You think they would treat their returning customers with a little more respect, but I was wrong. After almost a 6 hour move, we found several things wrong with our furniture. Bed frame missing a support board which causes the bed to sink in, dresser leg was cracked in half, screws for our television mounts were missing. They also said they would mount our TV's and that did not happen. Not once did we ever ask for a full reimbursement, but we did feel like we were owed something to make up for this. At first when we reached out to them they gave us a halfhearted "sorry," and said they were going to speak to their insurance company. A few days later with no word from DC Moving, we followed up with them and that's when everything took a turn. They asked how much we would want back in return, and when we gave them an amount they started calling us liars and saying we were not being honest with them. We told them that we were not going to go back and forth and that we already hired new people to fix the damages and put our TV's up. When we told them we were leaving a bad review for them, they said "your life your choice honey ;)" and they they don't care about reviews. I just hope my review stops anyone from booking with this company who degrades their customers and does not take any accountability for their mistakes. BEWARE! read more

OMG I would highly rate them. We had a few very massive moving day hangups (UHaul from 6 hours away blew a tire on the expressway) and they could not have been more understanding. Their entire time frame was messed up but they accommodated us without an attitude. When they arrived they were warm, professional, and very careful with some very old and very precious furniture. They had to take everything up to the 3rd floor--with terribly tight spots and short steps. Just wonderful! Very pleased and am confident you would appreciate their service as well. read more

I hired them three days before my move and I was surprised they could fit me in. Quoted the best price too! Vlad is super friendly, polite and responsive. He and Andres work together as a unit with great coordination. They arrived on time, asked me to show the house, confirmed everything that had to be moved (which was mostly all of it) and then straightaway went to task. They didn't make any fuss about the number of items that we had. We had a one bedroom but there were a LOT of furniture and boxes. These guys were professionals, wrapped all furniture appropriately, disassembled our queen bed and loaded everything in 2 hours. The unload was clinical as well. They unloaded each and every item in the room we asked them to, assembled the bed and were done in about 90 minutes. They were honest too - asked me to check their truck to confirm everything had been unloaded. I couldn't have been happier. read more
