Then year two with them was not as great. I felt more like a number and honestly the service reps felt a little slimy as a female bringing my car in. However I am happy to report this past year I saw it getting better again, on several times of bringing my car in I was met by Christian who was well mannered and kind, always had a smile on his face. I should mention I could drive one mile to the Dallas Audi dealership however I choose to drive 40 miles north to McKinney. I recently brought my q5 in for an engine light on and i got a loaner car without issue. I picked it up a few days later and on my way home my engine light came back on. The next day the head of service reached out and asked how my service went. I forgot her name but I let her know the engine light came back on, on my way home. She was so empathetic and let me know she would send someone to me in Dallas with a loaner car and pick up my car. It was amazing that I didn't have to take time off work to bring my suv back. She also apologized and when the service manager for my car, Michael (literally the best service manager to work with!) called me he said they would test drive my car many times so that it will have the computer reset many times to make sure the engine light would not turn back on. Which they did and they fixed everything and when my car was ready they delivered it to where I was and picked up the loaner. Another crisis avoided and taken care of by this dealership, not me. Now, I have run multiple businesses and I hated it when customers would leave a review without allowing me to at least be giving the chance to fix it. We are humans and mistakes happen and companies should be judged on how they react to a problem when given the information. I also recently got a large toll bill and when I called Sewell Josh from service took care of it. Simple and easy. Every person I interacted with even when the tech looked over my car again and sent the video, apologized and made it right. I honestly don't know how they could have done anything better!? At the end of the day cars and people are both unpredictable and somehow Sewell McKinney took care of both for me, without issue. I will never go to any other dealership nor should you!!

I have taken it back twice. The first time they said they fixed the oil leak, but it came back. Now they claim it's leaking from the "other side" and want to charge me $1,300 to repair it, plus the wheel issue. These problems appeared within the first 3 months of ownership. On top of that, they sold me an expensive extended warranty at the time of purchase, but now refuse to take responsibility and simply tell me to deal with the warranty company. It is not normal for a financed vehicle from a dealer to have transmission and safety issues so soon, and it is unacceptable that the dealer avoids accountability. Customers deserve honesty, safe vehicles, and support when problems arise--not excuses and extra charges. What you wrote is completely false. My truck has only 9,000 miles since I bought it from you, I have never used it for towing or heavy work. The oil leak and the noise from the rear wheel started in less than 3 months of use, I reported it immediately, and you still refuse to take responsibility. I was very specific that I only wanted the maintenance covered under Ultimate Care performed. The only additional thing I asked them to look at was the fuel door, which is peeling. When I picked up my vehicle today, I was shocked to find a $285 charge for an alignment that I never requested or authorized. I just purchased this vehicle on Saturday, and I certainly did not bring it in asking for an alignment. When I questioned the charge, my service advisor said he specifically remembered discussing the $285 alignment with me. They then produced paperwork related to the alignment. However, the page containing my signature does not list an alignment or a $285 charge in the services I authorized. Instead, there is a handwritten "$285" in a box on that page, which I do not recall being there when I signed it. What concerned me even more was watching the service advisor print something out and go back to his office before going to the manager with what was then presented as proof that I had been quoted and authorized the $285 charge. I cannot say when that handwritten amount was added, but I can say unequivocally that I did not request a $285 alignment, and I would not have knowingly authorized one. The entire situation left me with serious concerns about how my authorization and paperwork were handled. For $285, Sewell has lost far more than that from me. I will not return to Sewell for service, and I will not purchase another vehicle from Sewell. I expected a much higher level of integrity and customer service from a dealership with Sewell's reputation. You can keep the $285. Losing my trust and my future business will cost considerably more.
