Extraordinary kindness and professionalism After a tire blowout on the highway, I pulled into the Park Place Lexus parking lot for safety--even though I don't drive a Lexus. What could have been a very stressful situation was completely transformed by the people here. Chris, the General Manager, personally came out to check on me and make sure I was okay, then drove me himself to the main lobby so I could use the restroom and get out of the cold. The team even offered to change my tire, but I declined only because I already had a USAA tow truck on the way. As I was heading back, Dean kindly helped me get a coffee and made sure I was comfortable before returning to my car. During that time, Kay, one of the service technicians, stood by my car in the cold to watch it in case the tow truck arrived while I was away. I was not a customer and wasn't driving their brand, yet every person treated me with dignity, patience, and genuine care. No pressure, no sales pitch--just people helping another person when they needed it most. Got a flat tire yesterday and changed out myself. Drove it in to Lexus Park Place only to find out the service department now closes at 6pm. BMW closes at 8 M-F because they actually understand customers work for a living and 6pm doesn't work for customers. Called Park Place Lexus the next day to make an appointment to drop off my car to change out my tire and perform routine maintenance and they tell me they don't have ANY loaner cars at the time and won't have any for FIVE days. This is a CAR COMPANY. How on earth do you not have any cars available to loan out? How incompetent do you have to be to mismanage your loaner inventory so badly that you have to turn away customers because you don't have cars? For an (alleged) luxury car company, this is completely unacceptable. BMW would NEVER have a problem like this. Looks like I will be switching back to them if this is the kind of unprofessional service Lexus offers. read more

This place is really going down. Literally since Martin has been out, I can't seem to get decent customer service. Every advisor has different information, no one is on the same page. It's always one advisor says this another says that. I came today, 7am appt, no one came to my car until 7:20, a joke. Then I go inside and all these strange charges. Purchased a pre-owned 2022 Mercedes-Benz with 29,000 miles from Park Place Lexus. While inherent risk exists with any used vehicle, a dealership operating at this level should be expected to conduct thorough inspections and provide full transparency. That standard was not met. The vehicle was purchased at closing time on a Saturday. At delivery, the only concern was an unusual odor, which staff attributed to engine-cleaning residue. By the following day, the dashboard displayed multiple warning indicators. I notified my sales representative immediately, requested escalation to management, and advised that I would have the vehicle evaluated by a Mercedes-Benz dealership upon returning to town later that week. That inspection uncovered multiple issues: - A fault code related to a defective sensor had been cleared approximately 50 miles prior to sale. The component itself remained under warranty, raising serious concerns about pre-sale disclosure and diagnostic practices. - The odor was traced to severely neglected air filters and mold accumulation within the system--conditions that strongly suggest the vehicle did not undergo a meaningful inspection prior to sale. After follow up outreach, I was able to connect with a manager. The only resolution offered was reimbursement for a filter. There was no acknowledgment of the broader issues, no apology, no offer of a loaner vehicle, and no consideration for the time and disruption involved. I was also questioned as to why I had not used their affiliated Mercedes-Benz dealership--an option that was never communicated at any point. Since then, additional issues have emerged, including suspension and screen malfunctions. Within the first three weeks of ownership, the vehicle has spent approximately 30% of the time in service. At this point, I attempted to exit the situation and sell the vehicle--just three weeks after purchase. However, I was unable to do so because the vehicle had not yet been registered and the financing had not been fully processed, leaving no record for another dealership to accept it as a trade. This has been an exceptionally frustrating and disruptive experience, marked by a lack of due diligence, poor communication, and minimal accountability. For my last service when I dropped my car off for service, the loaner car had less than 1/4 gas, so had to go straight to the gas station to fill it up.. and then when I picked my car back up it was covered in bird poop. I want to start this out by saying that yes, I did accidentally send the wrong mileage to them on Friday, but they also had my VIN and the Carfax, they knew exactly what they were doing. I was told they would give me $12,500 for my vehicle, when I arrived I had to walk around to find someone, no one was even acknowledging me. The receptionist was on her phone and looked up once I was right in front of her. I had to wait almost an hour for my sales rep to arrive ( I showed up earlier than planned). I waited in the lobby and no one checked on me, no one acknowledged me. She finally arrived and I test drive the vehicle that I had already signed for on Friday, today is Monday. I go back and sign a few things, then I wait and wait and wait and wait, she finally comes back and tells me they will only offer me $9k for my vehicle because I put the wrong mileage. I said you had the Carfax and VIN, you could see. She said they have to go by what I said, well I said ok, can I get at least $10k, she said "I'll try". I wait and wait and wait, it's a no. I say whatever, but I'll never shop here again. I wait and wait and wait, finally sign the paperwork and then I go outside to wait. There was one nice guy that asked me a question, he was the only truly friendly person there. I just now saw that they have my old Highlander listed for $14,900, so I'm glad a Lexus dealership is full of crap and can take advantage of people and make almost $6k on the vehicle. You people could've stuck to the $12,500 you originally told me and still made a big profit. I will never ever ever shop here again and I will tell everyone I know to not shop there or any Park Place dealerships. Update: I've had the care for 24 hours and already needing to replace all four tires. Update: Daniel claims to have reached out to me, he never has. I did email him and no response. Zach said he would get back to me and I've left several voicemails and no response. They sold my old vehicle and made over $4k, but they couldn't offer me more for it as a trade in and I had to buy 4 new tires because the tires were at 6s and 5s, which you trade in at 4. I have been a Lexus owner for over 35 years. Since the sale the service ansdsales have gone down hill. Sales does not take the time to explain anything it is sign and get out. Transaction only. The expert sales people are tired of this new oner. Time clock, micro managing, old school in a ast moving works Mr Atlanta, GA. I love the people but the practices have declined. I was never told because they probably had no training on the TX that if you open the hatch in the garage you will incur 3k worth of damage. It hits the top of the garage. I did not have one mile on it. The hood is a bad design you can not see the side of the car so you are always guessing. No the lights don't even sound if you are nearing a curb or medium. So far this car has 2,800 miles and it has cost almost the same as the lease 20k. Since the new owner is not compensating sales they take short cuts, the service manager doesn't work with you he just writes down every detail without even giving back. The owner has ruined this dealership and I will go to Sewell next time. I used to trust the people but not the new owner he nickels and dimes his clients to DEATH. I LOVE THE PEOPLE!! I don't like the attitude of the new ownership. It was a sad day for people like me. read more

When I made a visit, the pricing parameters I specified were ignored. I met with Nick and Blake Cooper, neither of whom were willing to make a deal on the terms I had outlined. This dealer definitely seems superior to others in the area- we worked with Dean, who had come highly rated from an existing client with whom he was working when we showed up to browse new vehicles. He followed up when I requested him specifically (based on her telling of his going above and beyond by picking her up from the airport) and helped me understand every option available. He's a personable and knowledgeable educator. There wasn't a moment when I felt "sold" or like I was getting taken advantage of. He wasn't pushy and didn't give off typical salesperson vibes. He was a breath of fresh air after working with a couple other sales folks the previous few days. The F Sport Lexus NX 450h+ he helped me choose is perfect and Dean made the experience 10/10. Took my wife's car there for its first service. They didn't update the maintenance required indicator on the dash/system so even after the service it was telling us to see dealer for maintenance. They had no loaners available when they said they would so had to uber for the 2 hour+ wait. Also, they "washed" the car but whatever was pen they use to mark the windows for service was not fully removed so it was actually worse off than when we brought it. read more

Rough day, hard morning and on my break I ran out of gas right next to Park Place Lexus... got super lucky and Plano FD pulled up next to me and helped push me over the hill and into the side parking of Lexus so shout out to Plano Fire Department! Then a gentleman named, Tom, happened to see me on his way out and offered to give me some gas while in competing manufactured car.. was able to get the car started and on to fill up! Park Place Lexus - 2022 IS350 - Car Dealers Near Me - Plano, Texas

I have had the worst experience with Park Place Lexus Plano. They repaired my car after a collision in Sept 2023. I told them to take their time because I had a broken foot and couldn't drive for 4 months. I got it back and the tire they replaced felt like it was bouncing, the floorboard and steering well vibrated as well. They charged me to balance the tire and did a "free alignment". I left and the vibration was still there, brought it back to find out it was a bad wheel bearing. I pick it up and a week later the hood opened while I was on the tollway. I brought it back and they said someone probably pulled the hood release because they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I told them that I didn't trust them anymore and I don't feel safe in my car. I was told by the service adviser, "good luck with your next mechanic." So I take it to Sewell, and they didn't find the problem either. They did find a busted boot and they said it was too dangerous to drive off the lot. I paid for that and left. Then Friday my hood popped open on the tollway again. There's more!! I had to replace the shocks on the hatchback when the car was less than two years old. They started acting up again and I had them look at it. I couldn't even open it when I got it back. They messed it up so badly that it is going to cost $1,400 for the part. I am just appalled how the dealership gets away with all of this. read more

So even if you pay Lexus financial services off for the lease return - these crooks still demand an additional $2k extortion. Racist; we had a Mexican American sales person whom was wonderful - but the dealership sales manager delighted us with his wetback jokes when the rep was not around. We were not amused whatsoever. Garbage; their entire operation is not trustworthy. From the service fees to the filth the service team leave behind to how you are treated when your lease is up (they called us 3 times a day for three months AFTER we closed the lease directly with Lexus financial - and then turned us in to a collection agency for their $2k extortion return policy. We returned the lease at car max whom I can assure you paid us way more than these crooks would have. read more
