Mark Cobb was amazing. Every single other person I either spoke to or dealt with was horrible. My car went into their shop for service 12/19/2017. They found there was damage caused by a pothole. The insurance company and the body shop had to figure out payment. The person I worked with at the Body shop, Adam and his boss were deplorable. Adam called me ridiculous to my face with his boss in the room. I paid the bill, there was confusion with Insurance later, so they called me and told me they made a mistake and I underpaid by 500 bucks. I already paid them almost 7k out of my pocket and insurance paid almost 22K. My car was finally finished 3/6/2018 almost 3 months after being brought in, I was treated horribly, and then told I needed to pay an additional $500. I told the shop manager they needed to look into this and maybe as a sign of trying to rebuild a relationship cover the 500. He laughed at me and told that wouldn't happen. I have already contacted Mercedes Corporate. I am looking up who owns/is on the board of the dealership and I am going to write each one a hand written letter explaining the entire transaction. How I was called names, told there was no way to receive status updates on a regular basis, and by that I mean by a set time 1 day per week. Adam laughed when I asked if he could commit to calling, emailing, or texting by 7pm on Tuesday so I don't have to chase him, He said i do not know how business works. I do know that customers deserve respect. I do know a customer can have expectations met with a single proactive email or phone call. When his manager called me with the same attitude he had it shows me the issue is not Adam or his manager, the issue is the people who hired them both and the people who are above those individuals who read these reviews and still nothing is done. Where ever I can post reviews I will. I hope to help someone trying to make a decision on where to buy their next car or where to bring their car in for service, to make sure they do not come here. A tote-the-note dealership shows more tact and care than this dealership and its leadership. I will never step foot in this dealership again or recommend the body shop. I am in the market for a new car and this experience was the best advertisement for Tesla I could have experienced. To put a final Cherry on top. This morning when I started my car the engine coolant reminder came on and let me know the level was low, and one of my buttons that controls my mirrors is missing some of the black coating. It looks like someone got in the car with a dirty thumb, pressed the button, and tried to wash it off but rubbed off the coating. Just Got another call from the Body shop manager, Shane Miller, he was rude and hardly professional. I am shocked this is how Fin Ewing would want his business represented. My car was there 3 months. My Check Engine Coolant reminder just came on. They did a full service why is this coming on? My button that controls my side mirrors the black coating is now rubbed off, that wasn't like that. I have never been so dissatisfied and appalled with the service my husband and I have been receiving from the collision shop. We took our Denali to get repaired from a hail storm and a small accident we had. We brought it here because they are "certified and guarantee customer satisisfaction". It has now been 3 months and we still do not have our SUV back. They called us two seperate times already to let us know is was ready. Each time we went we did an inspection and found numerous defaults through out the truck i.e the front bumper was not put on correctly, tar on the roof, passenger headlight kept turning off and on, panels were left loose and broken, "brand new window trim" was loose and scratched up. And that's just to name a few. My husband went the second time to go pick it up and he was dealing with Chad at the collision center and pointed out the things that were wrong with the vehicle. After my husband showed him all the things wrong with our vehicle Chad informed him that's the way the new vehicles come. My husband is mechanically inclined and knows that's not how a new vehicle should be and argued with Chad about the matter. After going back and forth Chad had the audacity to tell my husband "obviously you don't want the truck because you can't afford it!". So just like anyone else my husband and I got offended by his remark and exchanged some words. My husband did show up in his work clothes, mind you we own our own irrigation repair company, and so we felt as if Chad was stereotyping my husband by the way he was dressed. We, as business owners would never treat a client this way. It is unacceptable! We tried asking for a manager but they said Chad was the only one there and after that Chad stated he no longer wanted to deal with us. All we want is our truck to be running and up to "factory spec" like their motto states. We would never recommend this body shop or dealership to any friend or family! We are disgusted with the customer service we have received! Do not bring your vehicle here it will come out worse then what it came in for! UPDATE PICKED UP THURSDAY 6/22 Saturday went out to truck after it was raining and my roof liner was all wet due to them not putting the roof on right. When going down tollway you can hear all the air coming in doors & sunroof. Carpet coming up. Etc... I can go out I am soo upset. read more

Based on my understanding, including information from family members employed by GM, once a vehicle is ordered and assigned to a customer, it should be clearly tagged as sold to prevent precisely this type of situation. I had an outstanding experience with Ewing Buick GMC and their mobile service. They came to my home to handle a recall repair, which was incredibly convenient. The technician was friendly, professional, and efficient, completing the work quickly while still taking the time to clearly answer my questions. What really stood out was the honesty. There was no upselling, no unnecessary "to-do" list, and no pressure... which, if you've dealt with other service departments, you know is almost unheard of--and one of the main reasons I started looking for a new place to have my vehicle serviced in the first place. On top of that, this dealership made the entire process so easy compared to other places I called. I didn't have to leave my car for hours, deal with no loaner availability, or use Uber or the like. They handled it all. He answered my questions directly and even put a few concerns to rest instead of turning them into a sales pitch. As a woman, that level of respect and transparency is a breath of fresh air and should be the standard everywhere. This is exactly how service should be done. Five-Star Review for GMC Buick Oh man, what can I say about Herm? What a guy! He was super extremely helpful. I just wanted to look at the new Hummer EV because I own a 2008 Hummer H2 and have been considering selling it since it's getting old. I wanted a new car with new features and no problems. I walked in just wanting to look, not wanting to waste anyone's time, and Herm threw me the keys and said, "Go take a look." So that's what I did. Just that action is making me strongly consider selling my most prized Hummer to buy a new one from this dealer. As a car dealer myself, I don't usually have any reason to buy cars from other new dealers, but now I really want to buy a car from here just because of the new experience and everything. If Herm is convincing a car dealer to buy from another dealer, you know the experience is top-notch. As far as the facility, it's a Ewing dealership, so this is as good as it gets. It's beautiful on the inside, and they gave me the car fully air-conditioned in this 105-degree Texas heat. You can bet your bottom dollar I'm definitely coming back to purchase that EV. It really is just amazing interactions. These people are so genuine and amazing at what they do. This was our first experience with Ewing here in Plano, and I can't express enough how pleased we are with the service department, and all aspects of our dealings with them. Our 2005 Chevy Diesel 4x4 was badly damaged by rats, so we took it last week for diagnosis & repair. The service writer, Benjamin T., answered my call right away and was extremely polite, pleasant, and informative, as he explained how they handle this type of job... After a THOROUGH exam of the truck, he called with a very detailed list of what we needed, and carefully explained what, how and why, and which things were necessary now, vs. optional. We happily approved the more-than-fair quote, and the job was completed a day sooner than promised! The dealership is very clean, orderly, and unlike many other car dealerships, nobody was smoking by any doors, and nobody tried to sell us anything. The truck was spotlessly clean, and not a screw out of place when we picked it up, and even the process of picking it up was fast and easy. Here's my experience: rolled up for a 2:15 appointment to test drive a shiny new 2025 Yukon. Figured I'd be behind the wheel in no time. Instead, I was treated to 20 minutes of prime lobby loitering. I eventually went on a self-guided tour to find my salesman, only to stumble upon a battlefield of empty desks and exhausted-looking customers. When I finally found my guy, he gave me the "Saturday is busy, keep waiting" shrug. I told him I'd give it five more minutes before bailing. He just...shrugged again. We left, and not a single person tried to stop us. So, lesson learned: if you're hoping for service, go elsewhere. But if you're looking to hone your patience and practice your best "I'm fine" smile, this place has got you covered. read more

The service department went above and beyond. The one thing I would say is the lady who works at the cafe, I was disappointed how uninterested she was. She was on her phone the entire time. Only put out a few snacks at a time. Cookies and popcorn she only made once. It seemed to me because she didn't want to make the effort to make more, even after a couple people asked her if there was more popcorn. She didn't have any waters or soda out which I didn't know was even available until someone had asked her. That cafe is such a great idea and she could really interact with customers and ask people what they want. She could go above and beyond. I had no idea anything was free when I walked up, she didn't even greet me. It all may seem like its not a big deal especially when it doesn't have to do with cars but When people are waiting for several hours, that cafe is the opportunity to bring light and warmth into either buying a car or servicing your car. read more

So I've been a customer of Ewing for many years. I've bought two new cars from there and have done all my service there too. I always get the emails asking for a review and even endured the "Anything less than a 5 Star isn't good enough" phase. I hated it. But after today's visit, I actually wanted to give a 5 stars and review. Nobody harassed me to do so, which I appreciate. No, instead, Herb was at my car before I even had time to look for him. I had an appointment so I guess he was expecting me, but I've never had anyone be so punctual. It was wonderful!! He seemed to anticipate my needs and care about my time (being a valuable commodity to me). And all this he did without even hinting about a 5 Star or review. I was directed to Ewing Buick a few years back when another Buick dealer closed and I am very happy that the suggestion of Ewing was made. I have two Buicks that I have serviced at Ewing and all of the work has been done quickly, correctly, professionally and reasonably priced. When it comes time to trade in my car, I will definitely go to Ewing. The service department is exceptional and every service writer are very competent and friendly. While the 10 point inspection provides maintenance that needs to be done, the choice is left to me about whether to have it done. There is no pressure to have it done, which I appreciate immensely. Ewing service department is top notch. If you go in and have to wait for your vehicle they have created numerous spaces for those that need to work. They also have couches, and comfortable chairs so you can watch tv, or quiet space to read. they provide snacks and drinks as well. everyone has always listened to any concerns, addressed them, and gets you in your way in a timely manner we. The newest service is amazing! They bring your oil change and tire rotation to you! They have completed the service at my home and now my work. Yes, I was greeted by Herb was told about my oil change. Asked if there was anything else that needed to be done. I was requesting the tire rotation since my tires had not been rotated since purchasing my vehicle. Her showed me the price sheet. I went ahead and got my tires rotated. I was probably there an hour. So it was quick service excellent customer service I didn't have to wait long. Also got to see the two salesman who sold my car to me.
