I also noticed there appeared to be either a misunderstanding or scheduling issue with another customer who had an appointment after mine, which raised concerns about how appointments were being managed. When I asked for an update on the timing, the response I received felt dismissive. The employee responded that "nothing is ever a half an hour, not here, not any shop." I understand that estimates can change and that inspections may take longer than expected, but my concern was not that it took longer--it was that I was given an estimate, waited significantly beyond that timeframe, and had to ask for an update myself. The employee told me he would check on the timing and get back to me, but I did not receive an update afterward. Instead, he returned to the office and continued working with vehicles. Another employee also said he would check on the status and where the first employee was at, but I did not receive an update from him either. A simple update or revised timeframe would have gone a long way. The inspection, which was quoted at approximately 30 minutes over the phone, ultimately took about two hours and cost around $100. The findings included recommended back strut replacement, brake fluid service, and a battery replacement, with an estimated total of around $1,760. They also identified a bent rim, but I did not appear to receive a quote for that item despite requesting one. I have no doubt that their technicians have the knowledge and skills to diagnose and repair vehicles, and that expertise has value. However, expertise does not replace the need for clear communication and respect for a customer's time. I was hoping for a shop that values the customer's time as much as their own. Given this experience, along with pricing that appears to be higher than other shops I have compared in the area, I am uncertain whether I will return for future service. The pricing was provided for other individual's knowledge of business pricing and a stated reason for hesitation in repeated business. I went to one other business, not multiple as was stated in person and over the phone-- indicating a lack of clarity again with notation on client accounts more publicly-- and and was quoted half an hour of my time with no updated timeline despite two requests to one staff member as well as the owner, Jesse, who just walked away. The Argumentative and dismissive responses on the stated concerns in the severe lack of timing and communication are what have just ensured I do not return to this establishment and suggest others take a closer look at what shop they choose for the work on their vehicles.

They did a diagnostic on Tuesday confirming the AC issue (which another shop had already identified) and also mentioned an engine oil leak. One repair was covered by warranty and one wasn't. I approved the covered AC repair. By Saturday I hadn't heard anything, so I called. They said the repair was taking longer than expected because my car was giving them issues, but it should be ready Monday. On Monday they called saying they completed the covered repair but found another AC issue that wasn't in their original diagnostic. They said they'd cover the labor but we'd need to pay for the part. My partner looked up the part and found it was cheaper than what they quoted us. After some back and forth, he told them to just put the old part back on and we'd handle it ourselves. Then they called back saying they had already ordered the part and were finishing the repair. They eventually agreed we could just pay the lower price we found. We picked up the car and within 10 minutes it started throwing steering, Stabilitrak, and other warning lights that had NEVER been there before. When my partner called, it turned into a heated conversation and the shop called the police and tried to trespass him. I called myself and Frans admitted it sounded like something may have been done wrong on their end and said they would fix it, so we left the car there. The next day I called three times for updates and was repeatedly told the person I needed to speak with, Frans, wasn't available. When I finally went to pick up the car, Andrew (who I had spoke to three times that day) was the one that gave me my keys and briefly told me what was going on. He refused to explain what happened and told me they were "done going back and forth" with me and that I needed to leave or they would call the police again. The only explanation I was given was that a brake light switch needed calibration. We came in for an **AC issue with zero warning lights**, and left with a car suddenly showing steering and Stabilitrak warnings -- with two kids that ride in that vehicle. I've lived here almost 10 years and have never been treated like this at a repair shop. The whole situation became extremely unprofessional and shady, especially once we questioned the price of the part. If they truly plan to trespass on us, they've done me a favor because I would never come back here again and wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, not even my worst enemy. The reviews previous to mine seem to validate my experience here and I wish I would've done more research prior to taking my car here. Do yourself a favor and heed the warnings.

We had it towed to this repair shop specifically because we believed an AAA Corporate-Owned Repair Center would provide reliable service. Their diagnosis was that the transmission needed to be replaced. We authorized the expensive purchase and installation of a "New Dealer Transmission with a 1 Year, 12K Mile Warranty." Fast-forward "15 months and 12,196 miles", and a loud noise suddenly developed while driving. Three local independent shops inspected the vehicle and identified the transmission as the source of the problem. The same major repair we had just paid for was failing again. AAA Auto Repair Center in Phoenix told me the repair was out of warranty and that any further repairs were entirely my responsibility. I escalated to AAA Customer Support and after multiple inquiries, received the same answer. I understand that it was 3 months and 196 miles out of warranty by the letter of the paperwork. But that is far from the level of customer support I expect as a long-time AAA member on such an expensive repair. AAA certainly has the buying power with the dealer/manufacturer to stand behind a brand new transmission that is "just barely" out of warranty, right? I'm sure AAA can appreciate how frustrating this is for a loyal customer. I chose a AAA-owned repair center (not just certified/recommended, but an actual shop owned by AAA) expecting quality service and accountability. Instead, zero responsibility taken by the shop or AAA Corporate. Furthermore, the local shop we hired now the second time around provided a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty to rebuild it. Buyer beware.
