I have been coming to Ace Uniforms-Vista for approximately two years. They have never disappointed me. The staff members there are so nice, helpful and patient. Today, 2/27/26, I came in about 20 minutes before they close and I wanted 6 patches to be placed on my uniform shirts. These folks are really great. They are patient while you're deciding what to get, they're persistent to try to get it from the manufacturers and their tailors make it fit like it was made for you. This is my second time coming here for a purchase of a uniform and alterations. I spoke to Silverio the first time, and they were able to alter my pants the same day. That was great until it wasn't. I spoke to Elisabeth over the phone and mentioned that the alterations I had done before were incorrect; they were about 1 inch off. I asked if they could fix it the same day, and she said yes. I continued to ask her if they could alter another uniform I had, and she said yes but that it would take two weeks. She then recommended that I buy a new pair and even checked for my size. A) Recommending to buy a new one, B) checking my size, C) the fact that I mentioned I had the first uniform altered incorrectly should have indicated that if I were to buy a new pair, I would also need to get them altered. For some reason, that didn't click for her. While I didn't explicitly say the words "I need alterations," the context of our conversation should have provided her with those hints. She declined my service and had me hold to speak to Silverio. He, of course, fixed the first pair and even got the second pair done the same day. Although the mistake was corrected I wouldn't be returning because of Elisabeth and the lack of customer service. read more

I've been coming here for years. It's convenient because it's close to work. I needed new pants and boots, and 5.11 was having a sale. I got 2 pairs of pants and I tried on a pair of boots. I went to the register to pay and told them I'll return for the pants because they needed to be hemmed and they were already done! That has never happened before! I also had a gown hemmed before and it was very affordable. The staff has changed over the years but def some old faces. They had everything I needed that 5.11 didn't and my 8" ATAC boots were less expensive. read more

Came here to get uniforms for work and they told me a 1.5 weeks was the pick up time line. 2.5 weeks later i call them and they tell me two more days. I call 2 days later and they still have yet to work on my uniforms after i explicitly informed them i needed them to be ready. They then told me they would be ready at 3pm that day so i wait to call before 3pm just to confirm and now they saying they thought i needed the uniforms 5 days out. They also made the excuse they only have one seamstress in the store. Very irritated with the lack of communication and the constant excuses. read more

Business should avoid this place for their uniforms. I do not recommend this location or the company for hemming or embroidery's. They are extremely slow and were late by many days. My coworkers had identical experiences, where we're given a week in advance notice of what the pickup date is, and come time to grab them, it is pushed further and further. I happened to be in the area of the Vista location and figured I'd see if there was anything they could help with and did they ever!
