I have a custom women's Padres baseball jersey. I'm a breast cancer survivor and this jersey comemorates my fight. I've got some really cool players signatures on it, but have avoided the back because I wanted to get two large Pink Ribbons on the back of the jersey. The measurement was 4" of the embroidery work and I was told that I needed to pay a setup fee, which I was willing to pay. It took me a few weeks to get my jersey back to the store, but when I did, I was told that someone had already paid the setup fee and that I didn't need to pay that after all. What they didn't tell me was that it would not be the size I wanted. In fact, it wasn't even half the size!!! Then I was told that it would take a week to 10 days to complete it. It took well over a month. Then I was asked about placement of the ribbons. I told them in the center. They were not centered and toward the top. I was also told that I would be texted when the jersey was done. But all communications were done via email only which further delayed the work because I get over 200 emails a day and literally had to search for the communications. They said that they could redo the work, but that I would have to pay the setup fee. And likely wait another 6 weeks for my jersey? No thanks. Now I need to find another embroidery company to see if they can fix this. This has been a horrible experience for me. read more

Owner Daniel Kim really knocks it out of the park! I brought in for linen cocktail napkins to be embroidered, and the turnaround time was less than 24 hours, even though there was no rush put on the order. He was friendly, provided clear communication via text and the price point was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend and it is very obvious why this establishment continues to earn high ratings among customers. read more

I went here to have a graduation stole embroidered. Owner was kind and helpful. Went over the design and what l wanted. He accidentally ended up embroidering something else onto my stole but was apologetic and made it right. I am writing that into this review because I would make similar mistakes and we all do, we're human. But it's how we deal with those mistakes that defines us and he made it right. I was reimbursed for the stole and just reordered another and he did a nice job on the second stole. My husband is going to USC for his master's program this year and l will definitely be back for the owner to do another stole for that graduation as well! I definitely see why people come here. I will be back and am excited for another flawless execution! read more

The reviews for Daniel, says it all! A few of my gals came here with their Members Only jackets & we loved the font he had. So, I came a week afterwards. Although I come from the National City area- I wanted to utilize the business my gals went to. Drove up here on my weekday off. And man o man!! Did I arrive in North County way earlier than expected. Traffic wasn't bad at all. Figures! LOL So, I had some breakfast & did some light grocery shopping in San Marcos. Then, it was time to head over to Daniel. I arrived right when he opened for business & mentioned the distance I drove from. Daniel was surprised about that and quickly asked if I had an hour & half to spare. He was waiting for an order of 200 to arrive & said he could knock out my order right then & there- that way I didn't have to drive back and forth! THANK YOU!! read more

I cannot say enough about Daniel who runs this store. His attention to detail, quality, pricing and ability to deliver fast, amazing results speaks wonders for this business. Too bad there's not a lot of competition for Embroidery services in North County, this shop is just below average. Had some hats made a few months ago and the stitching and lettering was wrong size and was crooked. I didn't realize it when I took them but when I got home that was the issue, decided just not to go back. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. A good friend of mine had a hat made, owner did not send a proof just made it, when friend saw it was made horribly he complained -owner got upset, and would not remake the hat or refund so buyer beware make sure you get proof or better yet go elsewhere, check out Oceanside shops, also small family owned but will make your embroidery right the first time. read more

Daniel welcomed my "small" order with the same level of service and quality that he gives to much larger orders from businesses! So happy I found a shop that's willing and happy to help individuals. His shop has the latest tech to produce high quality stuff! He even worked with me to help me get my logo just right even though I didn't have a high quality original image file of what I wanted embroidered! I was referred here by another "small business" embroidery shop from Oceanside bc the other shop didn't want to help me because they only cater to businesses. Daniel and the team at Custom Embroidery obviously welcomes orders small and large and treats them all with the same level of quality and service. Happy to support small family businesses like this one. Looks like he has all the latest machines and technology. Great showroom with samples all around! read more

Super fast and friendly service! I had to come back twice since the owner wasn't there when I went on Saturday, but I am glad that I came back. This was one of the few embroidery places that's open on the weekends and since I don't have much time during the weekdays, I was super grateful I found this place. I had to get a satin robe embroidered and they did a wonderful job. He warned me that satin might get stress marks from embroidery but it turned out just perfect in less than 20 minutes and only cost $9!! I needed to get Greek letters made & didn't want to drive more than 20 minutes, so I went here based on Yelp reviews & it's proximity. I'd never gotten letters made before, so I was happy that Mr. Kim was extremely helpful & made the process stress-free. I brought in one jacket & picked out one he had in stock (Pro-club hoodie). I knew how I wanted one jacket to be designed, but had no idea for the other. Luckily, Mr. Kim had a binder full of photos of different Greek letters he had made. I got inspiration & went for a lace layover design. On his computer, he showed me different styles of colors/words that I wanted, so I could see what'd look best. For both jackets, I got Greek letters on the front, and tags on the lower back & both sleeves. The turnover was FAST & the stitching looked super clean. I ordered late afternoon & was able to pick it up next day. I ordered in the summer, so keep in mind it wasn't peak ordering season for Greek life. The prices here are a bit higher than Joy's in Riverside or Fam Bam in SD, but it's completely fair seeing as he has such a fast turnover (hours/days here vs weeks at other places) and the store's proximity if you live nearby. I came in a few weeks later to order a set of letters for a friend. Same great experience. And even faster turnover! I picked it up after just 3 hours. 5 stars all the way for Custom Embroidery. Highly recommended for excellent quality & customer service (: read more
