    French Gel Manicure

I went in for a gel set and Emily was amazing. My nails came out beautiful! The salon was clean and everyone was very welcoming.

Thank you for getting me in last minute and for the little gifts! Everyone was so kind and respectful. Will be back

I live like one block from Ace Nails and I remember what it was before it was taken over by the new owner. I didn't really love it when it was the old owners so I was hesitant to come back but I'm so glad I did. It is now so much nicer and cleaner. The place is brighter and is COVID friendly. Great upgrade! I got a gel French mani today last minute. I came in around 6:50 and they were still able to fit me in even though they close at 7:30. I didn't get the name of the person that did my nails but she had short red hair and sat next to the cashier seat. She did a great job. She was careful and attentive and made sure I liked the colors before continuing which I greatly appreciate. Sometimes I get anxious and get too scared to voice concerns so I appreciate that she asked and made sure I was okay with it. The prices were also very fair. I have a wedding to attend coming up and I will definitely be coming back! Love to have found a place so close to home to make it my new regular spot!

In the area phoned in, and they were able to take me right then. Parking is street parking, was able to find parking close by/side street. Walked in there was only one other patron at the time. They have up dividers at every pedicure station including side curtains and a plastic pull down that gives some protection to the person doing the pedicure and the recipient. They also have dividers at the nail drying station, and at the check out area. In addition they have a notice posted showing that they have a clean air filtration system. I was greeted politely when I walked in. Emily did my manicure and I believe Ying (not sure about her name) did my pedi and eyebrows. Overall very pleased with today's visit and will return since I had not been to a salon of any type since February of 2020 due to covid.

This is now my go-to nail spot! I came in on a Thursday night for a mani-pedi and the experience was phenomenal. Because of COVID, my temperature was taken right when I came in and I was seated a couple of seats away from other customers. There were also plexiglass set up for the manicure stations. Everyone was wearing masks. My manicurist saw that I was having trouble finding the right shade of (pastel matte) orange, so she personally helped me look through their colors in the back while I was getting ready for the pedicure. & the shade that she came back with was exactly what I wanted! She matched it perfectly to the picture I had pulled up on my phone. My friend got a green tea pedicure -- super soothing & all their callouses are smaller and smoother. ($48) I got the regular mani pedi for a total of $43. My manicurist gifted me a complimentary lotion at the end I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my experience with Ace Nail & Spa. All of the staff were super sweet and attentive and I personally appreciate how they were friendly with each other as well. Street parking was easy and accessible.

Amazing place!!! The service was great and Grace the lady who did my mani treated me like a princess I had a great experience. I got the spa mani felt super good and refreshing. I would love to come here every month!!!!

My third visit solidified that this is my new place. Fantastic service! Owner Grace is very attentive and Emily takes her time to make sure you leave happy. Large comfortable pedicure chairs. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed! First time at this salon, due to travel wanted to get gel that should last 2 weeks at least. First nail chipped 2 days after, and 5 days later nails started peeling, would not go there again Update to owner reply; unfortunately I was traveling and could not come back to get chip and peeling fixed

Very well-managed with Covid-19. Clean inside, the staffs check all customer's temperature and brief survey about covid-19. Much better than the previous owner. Super friendly ladies, especially Jenny! Fair prices for spa, clean space, well-skilled care! Definitely, I will revisit the place!

Nails after 3 weeks!!! Still in perfect condition!!

Clean And extra covid precautions here. The ladies are double masked. I went for a SNS manicure and regular pedicure. The pedicure massage...I wish it went on and on. She got all the sweet spots and did not skimp on pressure! I chase after 3 young kids all day so I appreciated that. I also got a powder Mani and this thing has not chipped at all. It's been 3 weeks and there are no chips or cracks. Like I said, I have 3 young kids so I am constantly helping little hands with hand washing as well as my own. After all that, they are still in tact so I am extremely impressed. Am definitely making this my regular place.

Very first set of gel tips.

My 14 years old daughter got her very first set of tips and is extremely happy with the result. The lady who did it was very attentive and patience with her. She loves them very much! Thank you!

I have nothing but good things to say about Ace Nail & Spa. I walked in today around 10:30 AM, without an appointment and Grace, the owner greeted me while she was taking care of another customer and asked me what I wanted today. I wanted a regular mani/pedi, so she instructed me to pick a color. While looking over the colors, another nail tech prepared and sanitized my massage chair. I chose OPI Alpine White for my toes and OPI Machu Peach-u for my hands. After getting settled in the chair, my nail tech asked what kind of pedicure package I wanted and I went with the Green Tea Pedicure. So worth it! She did a really great job with cutting my cuticles, removing my callouses and massaging my legs. I especially loved the hot stone part of the massage on my calves. I was really impressed by the efficiency of Grace and her team, because while my nail tech worked on my pedicure, Grace came around and cut, filed, cleaned and painted my nails. We had the loveliest exchange of conversation and she guided me over to the drying area with my stuff in tow. While drying my nails and toes, I admired the orchids that she takes care of and she surprised me with a few freebies for coming to her salon, further encouraging me to come back, appointment preferred, to see her again soon. My total came out to be $62 for a regular manicure and green tea pedicure (I paid in cash) and I was also provided with a business card that had a loyalty stamp system on the back- 10 visits gets you a free manicure! Thank you Grace and the Ace Nail Team

Hot pink I usual get the powder dip but I was suggested a gel

The front door explain the entrance fee but when I asked questions about the other services the woman was a little abrupt and rude. I mean whatever I asked she mentioned the fee. I told her I know and I guess she wanted that fee before I realize the massage is really bodywork. I told her it is my first time here. I wanted to leave but stayed because i traveled so far and I wasn't in the mood to find somewhere else. It was my birthday. Anyhow I pay get my uniform go to lockers. I noticed the sign and picture of two thieves and others about lost towel and key fees. Anyway the locker room plays Korean drama and attendants are the ones who sell the other services. I lounged around in the coed area and then tried every steam and sauna for 20 minutes. I walked around in my socks. It was pretty quiet and peaceful . It wasn't full of people either. I go to the front desk to ask if there are slides or slippers. My feet got really hot in the sauna I was wearing socks . One must either be in socks or barefoot. I asked him about the additional services and he said the women in the locker rooms do those. The woman in the locker room are the "masseuse " or "esthetician" in a sense. Before entering the wet room (one removes their spa uniform showers ) before using the jacuzzi steam room and cold plunge. Ok so I decided to get the Korean body scrub and massage. The body scrub was better than the massage. I braced myself each time I was rinsed with water. A basin of water gets thrown on you. The massage included a facial and I appreciate her massaging my stomach where I tend to get fibroids. The facial left my skin glowing . Overall i probably won't go back but i feel encouraged to check out higher end spas and treat myself more. I think these spas are good for sauna unless your gym has one. It was an ok value. You get what you pay for. The skin care is cucumber based.

We had a dinner reservation for mother's Day and had to push it twice to fit this booking in. When I was trying to see if it was possible to make an appointment on the same day, the receptionist said I can just pay at the spa, instead of getting a Groupon deal (probably because Groupon takes out some portion as commission). I was really hesitant because I've paid the spa directly before and when the service was terrible, I couldn't get Groupon customer service protection. Since this spa allowed me to split 3 facial package with my husband, I agreed to pay the spa directly. We were 10 minutes late because there just wasn't any parking available around Main Street, but the receptionist was very understanding and said don't worry about being late. Once we got there, we were in a couple room and got changed and got started right away. I had Tina and my husband had Zoe - they were both professional and extraction and décolletage massage was nice. They didn't push us to upgrade the service and my husband and I were so comfortable that we both fell asleep and snored. I definitely had a better product and techniques before and I would rate this place more like 4.5 stars, but since the customer service was great, I'm leaving 5 stars. *Tip: pay in cash because if you use your credit card, tax will be charged.

I came on a groupon, in my search to find my new regular spot, but honestly was rather disappointed. The products used are ok - Keve and Collin - some generic spa stuff (did not see any commercial stuff like Vaseline or other drug store brands, as you might at some other cheap spas). My facial was actually somewhat torturous -- the facial massage is just so rough and not at all relaxing or rejuvenating. I felt like the facialist was trying to force moisture back into my poor dry skin. The extractions were fine, on the properly aggressive side. I HATE that they use razor to do eyebrows - no reason not to pluck, esp as I wasn't that overgrown! I would not return, though packages run from as low as about $35 per facial in a package of 10.

When you are ready to shower, you can ask for larger shower towels. - Large, spacious, and clean facility with Greek-esque blue and white architectural details. We enjoyed the open layout with the different heated pools, the vast array of strong jets, and the hot tubs. All the jet buttons worked, and the jets turned on right away. We loved the large Himalayan Salt sauna, which was also the hottest. Overall it wasn't crowded at all! - My daughter loved the outdoor pool with the overhead waterfall, the indoor pool right by the bar, the playhouses in the relaxation area, and the kids' playroom. - The hydrotherapy pools, cold baths, and steam room in the changing areas/locker rooms were clean and well-maintained. - The Korean food is delicious! Last Wednesday, we visited from around 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (they close at 9:30 PM), so we were mindful not to rush them or their closing shift. Overall, the spa experience itself was good. The facilities were fine, and the food was absolutely chef's kiss as always -- that part never disappoints. I also understand that prices have gone up, and while Spa Castle is now priced similarly to SoJo Spa, I didn't mind paying more since everything else in life has also gone up. However, the experience was completely ruined at the very end. When we were about to leave, we realized there were no hair dryers at all -- not even one. Yes, you read that right: a spa with NO hair dryers. I asked the three ladies at the front desk if there were any hair dryers available, and they told me, "We don't have any. Customers steal them." I was shocked. That is not the customer's responsibility -- it's the spa's responsibility to manage and replace basic amenities. A hair dryer is a basic service at any spa, especially in winter, when it's cold outside and people cannot walk out with wet hair. When we went to check out, a male and a female staff member were at the counter. The man asked how our experience was, and I honestly said everything was fine except for the fact that there were no hair dryers, which was very disappointing. He looked at the female staff member, and she said, "We do have one hair dryer. Did you ask them?" I told her yes -- we asked twice, and three employees told us there were none. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, her tone was rude and dismissive. There was no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge how uncomfortable and unfair that situation was. No spa should send guests out into the cold with wet hair after they paid full price for the experience. Sadly, the lack of basic amenities and the unprofessional attitude at the front desk completely ruined what could have been a great visit. I was very disappointed, especially as someone who has supported Spa Castle for years. At this point, I would rather go to King Spa or SoJo Spa, where customer service and basic spa standards are taken seriously. Very upsetting experience, and sadly, I don't think I'll be returning.
