Worst mani pedi of my life. Did not clean my nails correctly and when I asked he about cleaning my nails she didn't understand. She was very distracted throughout the whole time wanting to know what was happening around her. I usually have my nails round and I had to ask her three times to fix it. And even after she fixed it some still came out square. My pedi was another disaster. The $51 i paid was definitely not worth it. I used to go to Flawless Nail Spa across the street and had a bad experience once with gel removal and crossed the street to Mindy, it's been a wrap ever since. The location is very convenient, on a strip with restaurants and a Dunkin Donut. The salon is open till 10p and the prices are very reasonable! I have yet to get a poor manicure/pedicure and I love the service that is being given! Mindy is also very funny and always remembers my wife and I when we come in! I would definitely recommend you pass by and get a spa pedicure! 6 months later - still a fan! I only get pedicures here by Flor and she is a saint. My first review was deleted, so I'll say it again. This place is the worst! I went with my sister. I called ahead, asked for a pedicure for me and a powder gel manicure for her. I asked if they had the staff to do both at the same time. Mindy, the owner, said yes. We show up for our appointment, and both ladies were tending to the one customer they had. We waited 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge us basically. Then, Mindy starts talking about an organic Korean manicure....my sister politely says no thank you, I came here for a powder gel. Mindy does not let it go. She continues to try and sell the organic gel. I tell Mindy, she wants a powder gel, please let her get the powder gel. Mindy proceeds to yell at me across the salon insisting she get the organic gel, shouting about how damaged my sisters nails are. My sister finally agrees to the organic manicure, because she is nicer than I am...Mindy has me sit in the pedicure chair, and I wait for 30 minutes before my toes are even started. I make it very clear that Mindys behavior is unacceptable, and she proceeds to shove 10 coupons in my sisters face...Mindy is pushy, and unprofessional. Additionally, her salon is cramped and dirty. Let me tell you - this place SUCKS. I wouldn't go back. Ever. Thinking about this place fills my head with bad words.... They need to get their licenses checked. I purchased a mani-pedi deal through Groupon. They only allow appointments to be made Monday-Friday before 4pm, which isn't even on the fine print on the Groupon website. Some lady with glasses (not Mindy or Coco) did my nails. I got my pedi done first and it wasn't the best job, but I let it go. The manicure was horrible, it seriously pissed me off. I thought she wasn't done cause there were empty coloring spots, discoloration from accidentally mixing colors, and nail polish on my skin. Nope, she applied the top coat and she was done. She sent me over to the dryer station, but NOPE. I will not leave a mess on my nails. I asked for nail polish remover to remove it on the spot. The whole staff acted confused. If a customer is upset, shouldn't you offer to redo it? I just don't understand how you could finish off the job, if it's clearly visible that it was poorly done. Wanted to leave a good review after seeing so many negative ones. My usual place was packed and it was already 9pm and I desperately needed my nails done before this upcoming holiday weekend. I called and they told me I would have to wait, but could fit me in. I arrived a half hour later and was taken quickly by who I believe was the owner. I did the SNS for my mani first, and she did a great job, as some salons have left my nails thick or mishapen. Lily, the lady who did my pedicure was great as well! Lovely nail salon! Definitely a hidden gem. The staff are friendly, the ambiance is clean and relaxing, but most off all, they're very hygienic!! All their pedicure and manicure utensils are sterilized. You watch them open the packet every time. Plus, the prices are very economical and the service is great! For a $15 pedicure, my guy used all sorts of creams and gels to make sure I got the best treatment available. He also took his time and was very precise and detailed. Thought she was prepping me since flor already had someone in her chair. She looks at my nails and starts drilling away. I ask what she's doing? My nails usually get soaked. She said she had to drill me, angled the drill and my finger started hurting. She went for the other hand and drilled firmly and I told her to stop, I want to wait for Flor. She said what?? I said I'll wait for her, you're about to go into my skin. She dropped the drill and said FLOR CANT DO SNS!! and stomped off. My mother always gets sns and beautifully done. I went to Flor and asked how long til she was done. She told me Mindy booked me without asking or checking the appointment book-she would finish before 11. I'm annoyed but was even more annoyed the owner herself didn't check and told me it was fine. I waited. I could have been soaked while I was waiting but wasn't. My nails were long and Flor said it would take a while to soak when I got to her. I was so tired, I told her to cut my nails off, I'll grow them again. As she was doing my nails, I asked who was in charge. I wanted to make a complaint about the rude tech. She said that was Mindy. When she finished,Mindy went on to charge me for her drilling some of my fingers and the sns. She didn't even apologize for hurting my fingers after I told her she was hurting me and cracked one of my knuckles with the way she jerked my finger. I didn't even know she was the owner until Flor told me. I told her she needed to learn how to listen to customers. She kept talking over me and then we both got loud. I put the money down and tipped Flor who had to stay an hour and 16 minutes past her shift because her boss is an idiot. An underpaid coworker was nice enough to stay behind and wait for her so she wouldn't go home alone at this hour. It's 1:16 am and I'm just leaving this place. First and last time I ever come here. I use to come here monthly for a pedicure, unfortunately I got a toe nail fungus in June. Mindy is nice as well as her staff, but the fact that these types of funguses are never fully resolved, can spread from toe to toe deforming each one is unacceptable. It has been a nightmare to treat. I've tried everything OTC treatment that never worked, 5 months later I am currently doing expensive laser therapy + rx topical that cost $700 with a podiatrist and it's still there and deformed. Stay away from this place, toe nail fungus has no cure, only treatment for appearance and it will ruin your nail making them yellow, thick and deformed for LIFE, yes the fungus is for life. read more

My most recent experience left me with acrylic fills that were thick, and sloppy nail polish. This is the best nail salon I have ever gone to! I came in for a manicure and pedicure. I was immediately greeted by very friendly staff. The pedicure was very high quality because of the massage on the lower leg and feet by the nail tech, the exfoliating creme and the massage chairs were incredible. The chair massage on my upper body felt almost as good as a human masseuse. The manicure was very well done too. The polishes they use are top of the line like Opi and Essie.
