My daughter picked one of the Cat Eye Magnetic Gel Polish design and was notified it was an additional $10.00. She opted out.. For the pedicures, they do use disposable liners. My nails came out beautiful and love the quick massage they do on your shoulders while your nails are drying. My daughter also liked her manicure even without the extra magnetic line design.

She explained that the customer ahead of me initially wanted a mani-pedi th4m decided she wanted a facial. I couldn't fault her for that but appreciate that she told me and again kept apologizing. Because they were now running late because of that customer, the owne did my feet. I swear, her hands were lightning because in 15 minutes she was done and even fit in a under feet scrub, leg scrub and a massage which felt amazing. Then, Mary did my gel nails and she was very sweet and very thorough. She also gave me a back and neck massage which I needed more than I realized. Decor is less than desirable and dilapidated but hey, it's clean, they do a good job and they're really nice unlike a lot of other spits I've been to. I also witnessed a customer who received a pedi who came back after she put shoes in and ruined it and they fixed it for her FOR FREE even though the customer insisted on paying -- now THAT'S customer service. Recommend getting the 10 day OPI polish, it's only $2 more and your pedi will last that kich longer. Park on the side streets if you can but beware streets are narrow and busy. Also, if you come with boys, send them next door to the barber shop while you get your nails did. Robert and his brother are amazing.

Over the years I've come to her with different design ideas and she has always done them with ease, or she'd propose different ideas and we'd brainstorm and collaborate together to really get the set of nails I want. Today I went into my appointment with an image of white marble nails, unsure if she'd be able to do it, and she continued to do a fabulous job. Watching her do this set made me realize I haven't had a chance to rave about her service yet! I've been to the salon while it was busy-- sometimes you have to wait a few more mins even if you have an appointment-- but that's going to happen at any nail salon you go to. Today was a very slow Wednesday afternoon and my experience was just as good as usual. I cannot recommend Lisa and Gold Nails for acrylic sets enough!

However I got a French…read morecolor gel manicure, and my sister got a powder dip manicure with 3 tips (due to her nails being very weak). For one, we had an appointment at 5pm, and they were ON POINT! we were in that pedicure chair and soaking out old gel polish off within minutes of entering. We were welcomed warmly & they knew exactly what services we wanted, as we told them over the phone, but they log it with each appt! That was amazing to us. For me, I have a toe that's always giving problems and my pedicurist was an ANGEL. she spent at least 15 mins working on cleaning and prepping my feet for my gel polish, it was so relaxing & i felt clean and so pampered! the foot massages are to die for, so I'm returning for that!! My sister is EXTREMELY ticklish, and her pedicurist ensured that she was gentle enough as to not get roundhouse kicked by my sister while scrubbing her feet. After all of that and we were gel polished up and ready to go get manicures, we were walked over to a table side by side where we got our manicures. I have to say, my manicurist was FANTASTIC. She worked with my vision of coffin shaped natural nails and did a French gel atop it. absolutely amazing and I love how strong they feel and NOT thick like other places I've gone to. All in all, our nails came out to $167 for my sister and myself. Now the only problem I have is that this was done yesterday at 5pm. It's currently 12:25pm, and I'm seeing the gel lift by my nail bed of two of my fingers on the left hand. I called Julie's and they said to come in at 630pm so that they can fix it for me, so let's see how it goes! EDIT: I went to Julies, and called a bit earlier, and they let me come in at 6pm to take care of my nails. I had Maria, the same tech as the day before and she was kind & sweet enough to take off my top coat, buff my polish and redo the top coat on ALL 10 fingers!!!! I only had this issue with 2 of my nails, but they went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with everything! Thank you again

Vibe wise, they kept glancing at me and didn't say a word until I was visibly antsy about nobody coming over to get started with me. Once they got started, the pedicure was rushed, they did not do the callus remover like I had asked for (they claimed to have "forgotten" after the water was drained and I was already paying), and my technician dropped an entire bottle of product on my shoes midway through my appointment. You're better off ordering a pumice stone on Amazon and doing it at home. Ridiculous how awful this place was for me and I've been to quite a few nail salons prior to this experience. Extremely disappointed and upset about this.
