In aisle 12 I met an another fella who opened one draw pulled out two wing nuts and one fit. Amazing this is a great old-time hardware store with everything you could possibly need. In another city I used to go to Jager. Denville definitely has more selection and excellent service. Far superior to the big stores. This is now my go to spot. Thanks very much!

If true and he wanted to sell the Ooni to me, the proper and professional way would have been to ask if I could call back the next day. He wants the easy sale and wants a customer to order without asking too many questions which is his prerogative but just know his true character or two-faced persona; pleasant when you're ready to spend and insulting when not.
