NYC fireplaces installed the unit in a week and a half and the install came out perfectly. Raphi meticulously cut the siding for the vent cap and the install came out perfectly. Steve and the other hardware/store crew are always good at answering my random questions, leading me in the right direction. The checkout staff always changes, but employees are consistently nice.

He also gave us a great recommendation for a plumber to run the gas pipe (JLM aid Bayshore). Kevin was so accommodating and we'll coordinated, we were able to get everything installed in one day (plumbing, burner install and log set up). Matt, the installer, was excellent! He installed the burner, set up the logs and embers and provided us with detailed instructions for running and maintaining the new fireplace. We used them for installation and that was fine. the issues we had were the unit they sold us was too small for the opening so we noticed a gap after it was installed. It's on me that I didn't double-check the measurements but its also why I bought from someone who specialties in this. Then, when I called them about a fix, their first option was to charge me for a piece to cover the gap. Final issue post-install is the window developed small crack. I called them for warranty service and their response was again to offer options where I have to pay. They eventually agreed to call the manufacturer for eh warranty but it was like pulling teeth. I followed up after a couple weeks and again got an unenthusiastic response and no information. That was about 6 months ago and I've given up on them.
