As I'm unloading my baby, the owner pops out and asks if I'm coming in... I respond saying, "No, we're going next door to see my wife for 5 minutes to drop off her lunch. I parked here because it's raining and windy." She told me I cannot park there and she would have me towed. I told her, "Look, the weather is awful and can't leave my baby in the car alone." I've recently started wearing suits at work, which means I now have to get those suits cleaned. Ace Cleaners charges $25 for each women's blazer + pants, and they came back clean, undamaged, and impeccably ironed. I also got the sleeves of a dress altered for $20, and it came back looking great. The hours are now extended to 5:30 pm, which makes it slightly easier to get to after work than when they closed at 5 pm. A Five Star down comforter cleaning, fancy dress alteration and steaming Experience. I came in to Ace Cleaners and met Owner Joan Mondragon. She has been in the cleaning business for 18 years. I first had her clean my king size down comforter. The price was fair and my down comforter was clean and fresh. For my 2nd experience, I came back the day before Valentine's Day and ran in to see if I could get alterations on my new dress....unbelievably Joan had me put on my dress and shoes, she marked my dress where it needed to be shortened and said it would be ready by 10:00 the next day. I Called on Valentines Day to see if my dress was ready....and it was! OMG! I am so so so impressed. I came in and picked up my dress from helper Magee. She was happy and very nice. Prices were very fair and I also gave a big tip for rushing my alterations and they steamed my dress as well! I put my dress on and went to my special event...the Closing Ceremony of the 2023 Senior Winter Games. I also won a special award for great sportsmanship and was asked to come up to the stage. Joann is a very poor business women: This was not my first time doing business with her: I have had electric blankets,down comforts, mattress pads, laundry by her, I was very pleased with service. Too High Priced. But pleased. But this is a complaint regarding her overcharging me for hemming 4 panels of curtains. She quote me $25.00 she never said that it was for each panel. They're fairly fast and nice enough, but overpriced imo. I paid $60 for 2 suits and I know that I can get a better deal elsewhere. I dropped them off on a Tuesday afternoon and picked up on Thursday morning. The suits came out beautifully. Originally I went here every week with 6-10 pieces to be cleaned that is until the female owner told me I would have to pay a dollar more per item be cause my husband wore xxl??? so we stopped going. I make every effort no matter the service to use locally owned businesses when we are seeking services in the area which was the case when I dropped my dry cleaning off at Ace Cleaners in Sparks. I had an 8-piece order that was dropped off on Friday 02/25/22 and due back per their receipt on Tuesday 03/01/22, unfortunately Ace Cleaners in Sparks did not live up to their end of the bargain. Understand, one has to pay in advance and there is an additional charge assessed when using a credit card, so not only do they have your clothing but they have your money. When I arrived to pick-up my order on Wednesday 03/02/22 a day after it was due, I was told that they had discovered once the order was returned to the shop that one of the shirts had a spot on it so the order wasn't ready. I greatly appreciate their attention to detail but my order wasn't ready, I was assured that everything would be back and ready to go on Thursday 03/03/22 but as you can guess it wasn't. When I arrived on Thursday 03/03/22 it was explained that it was a miscommunication about when the order would be ready and excuse after excuse was offered but I didn't have my order but they had my money and my clothing. The young man who was making the excuses suggested I return on Monday 03/07/22 which I did and after 11 days my order was finally ready. There was still some confusion when I picked the order up on Monday 03/07/22 and all the shirts were not together but miraculously I was able to leave with all of my order. Needless to say I will never return to Ace Cleaners, it's one thing to drop the ball once but not twice and to blame things on a miscommunication and take no accountability is hardly a way to treat customers in my opinion specially with the cost of services and fuel on the rise. read more

As of now I am very upset with this place . My one and only good EXPENSIVE winter coat has been ruined. I went in to try and get a refund and the owner Joan has given me nonsense on how she has to review the jacket and see if it qualifies for a refund. Now the fur on my jacket literally looks like brown balls of cotton and smells like it was burnt. It falls apart when I try to comb it out . I don't know why they dried it tHat way when it's clear that the fur is detachable as well as the whole hood. I hope to get at least a refund . read more

I really wanted to give a good review for this place because the owner was a very nice lady. Most of my items came out great but I had them dry clean a few pairs of designer shorts and I'm really upset with how they hang them. Instead of using a hanger in a normal fashion they stuck safety pins, poking holes in my clothes to pin them to the hangers on 2 sides of each pair of shorts. Literally there's holes in 3 pairs of my 6-700 dollar shorts and my blood is boiling right now. The manufacturers themselves don't even put holes for their hang tags as they use strings and tie little knots to secure the tags into place. Super upset about it and I'd never have them dry clean another pair of shorts again. Hoping this can help someone avoid holes in their nice clothes in the future. Also my drawstring tips got destroyed on a pair of shorts as well. Most everything I dropped off was in like new condition. See pics read more

My wife began dropping off my shirts for laundering a couple months ago. This is close to home and very easy. The shirts are done within a day or the week depending on how many shirts I drop off. I don't have the fanciest dress clothes, but they look crisp and professional after being serviced here. The staff is very friendly and transactions are very quick and painless. Um...not sure of their service. Went to drop off three short casual dresses and told it was pre pay and $18.50 a dress. Whatttt????? Polyester dresses. Not silk or wool. So, $55.50 for three Old Navy type dresses. I know two of them I didn't even pay that much for. LOL. I said I didn't have my wallet and would be back...I just split. That's pricey. I was expecting like $10-12 dress for a casual dress. Oh well. She was not rude or anything, that's just above my budget for that type of clothing. The Lululemon wearing Spanish Springs housewife (complete with short in back, longer in front dyed reddish brown hair) didn't seem to mind paying their prices to have her leggings dry cleaned...seriously, this lady was having yoga leggings dry cleaned...for real. She 'lost' 3 of my husbands very expensive dress shirts, and wedding shirts and continued to say that we picked them up, when he wasn't even in the same state and I had the pick up receipt right in my hand. To worsen the situation, my mother in law went down and was insulted, and when she continued to call the business, the owner refused to talk to her and hung up every single time.
