No more amex access. I went in and there was 2 people sitting and it was a lonely sad vibe.

Wow. All I heard was the word 'free' and I told my mom let us go. This place has no windows outside and I thought it was closed. The door opens and there are all these rooms. Go ahead & take a load off here! Exhausted from shopping... this was a super sweet treat! The decor is comfy yet elegant, the staff was on point & the cocktails* & light snacks held us over until dinner. They also provide fresh infused water to quench your thirst. In addition to the areas of seating available, they also have a couple of private rooms as well. This place has a Spa/Hotel feel to it! Can't wait to return. We still have some 'Access passes.' * They serve Wine (Red & White), Champagne or Beer in lovely crystal glasses. No hardcore liquor. read more

Amex Platinum gets you in!!! Its not advertised, but a great lounge available. I took the kids there while mommy was shopping. Very great hostesses (2). Once you signed in, they make you feel right at home. This place is kids friendly. Especially if you get one of the private rooms. You can turn on some cartoons and just hang out. They have juices and all kinds of other beverages. The staff are mindful of your privacy and do all they can to make you feel at home. Snacks are light and included salt/vinegar chips and pretzels. I would probably take advantage of this lounge more if the future. read more

Don't bother asking for more than 2 glasses of champagne here!!! The women who work here think that they are the mall police. It's hysterical how much "control" they think they are empowered with!!! Don't do this, can't do that, no this, no that! My goodness, I thought I was in a nightmare VIP lounge run by over zealous Nannys trying to keep everyone in line!!! Relax ladies...this is a LOUNGE, not a boot camp!!! They used to having snacks and sweets laying out as well as packaged chips and stuff. Now, they bring out mini (and I mean mini) pretzel-like stuff in a mini bowl and potato chips in a mini bowl. The staff have made this place completely unpleasant and all your absurd RULES are a joke!!! They have no idea how to treat VIPs and instead they run it like a prison. PLEASE, go visit a real VIP lounge somewhere, anywhere, and get trained...!!! read more

Mayra is a miserable, bitter, hostile person who is inappropriately employed as a host in a 'VIP' lounge. Mayra recently challenged my wife in a condescending and belittling fashion regarding both our 'credentials' to enter the access lounge. Mayra also told us that we could not bring a service animal into the lounge, and inappropriately demanded documentation of the pets status as a service animal (which we provided to avoid an open argument in the lounge). Mayra needs to be fired as I see several other complaints specific to her and she clearly is beyond changing her rotten, ugly personality, and better deserves working cleaning sewer systems than in customer service. Seriously, fire Mayra already! She single handedly is turning a previously enjoyable VIP lounge into a very undesirable environment where you are forced to interact with highly ignorant and hostile employees. read more

Can we give it 0 stars, the staff seems very unhappy to be working here. We first went in and they said a private party was finishing up and nobody was inside. They told us to come back at 12:30pm so we did, they were very rude on stating to come back at this time. We went to do shopping and came back, come back and they say there still not ready but with some amazing bad attitude. Mayra needs to get some proper training on handling customers and recommend management to properly train there employees here. I have sent a complaint to Amex platinum also. read more

I don't know what else to give this place other than 1 star. I will update the next time I visit. I did not get a chance to look around as the place was supposedly crowded and I was asked to leave and return at a later time. Was not allowed access on a Sunday evening at 5:30 PM. Supposedly they were completely full. Can only imagine how bad it must be to get a seat at around Xmas time. Must not have room for more than 10 people then. I'm sure the lady working the desk is wonderful but I could not see much more of the lounge. Would had been nice if she had at least offered a bottle of water. I will come back and try the lounge again the next time I am in the mall. Hopefully the experience will be a little bit better and I can update the review and give more stars. read more

Location is near Saks Fifth Avenue second floor. Two hostesses present to check you in and assist. The lounge still accepts AMEX platinum for entry. Two nice individual restrooms and a baby changing area. A quiet room with just carpet which they referred to as prayer room. Two private rooms, with one smaller for about 2 people and the other room ok for about 4. There is an open common area with places to sit and possibly watch TV. The hostesses were pleasant and nice and served us drinks and snacks. Drink options were sodas, beer, wine, or champagne. We got some snacks which were pretzels and chips. There is also a bowl of chocolates where you check in. We visited on mother's day and as we left, my wife was offered a very nice pink rose. I don't normally take time to write reviews but thought an updated one was needed. And wanted to give thumbs up as many of the other reviews had different experiences. read more

Cozy little spot away from the hustle and bustle of the Costa Mesa mall. There is a child area for nursing, a few puzzles, and diapers for emergencies. You can get in here with amex platinum card, up to 4 people per card. I love coming here while I wait for my girlfriend to shop so I don't have to walk so much since it's hard on my feet. A must visit if you have the right cards to get in here for free. read more

This is a luxurious little lounge hidden outside the Saks Fifth Avenue on the 2nd floor. It's a little unassuming, so it's very easy to walk past, but the lady inside was very nice, helpful, and quick with the drinks. She led us to a little room to relax and watch sports. Definitely a good place to hang out while waiting for others to finish shopping. read more

The service is horrible and rude. They just treat the people with a nasty attitude. It seems like everyone here is begging for food and drink. If South coast can't afford to provide such guest service, just drop it out. Don't hire some low qualified people there to ruin the company's reputation. Most ridiculous thing happened to us. The staff here name Myra told me she won't be able to provide me another glass of drink because they saw I drank up my wife's drink. What a stupid excuse to save your refill. She was trying to make a scene like we are here to beg for a free drink from the house. I couldn't believe the line she used to avoid serving another drink. Remember, the house rule: Dont drink your partner's glass. Access lounge can't afford you to do so. Why bother to invite people here to experience your shitty service then! read more

Nothing to really write home about. I did appreciate the private nursery room since the family room in the mall had a long line. The nursery consisted of a changing station, play table and two love seats for the parents. The setup and the service is pretty much identical to any airport lounge. The lady who greeted us and got us drinks and snacks was pleasant and friendly. The overall place was well kept and clean. A nice break from shopping and crowds. I've only been here on the weekdays so I'm not sure how busy it gets on the weekends. Amex Platinum gets you in. read more

Mayra at the lounge provided us an horrible experience. Keep in mind, we were invited as a VIP to the lounge, not begging for your cheap free stuff. You are there to service people, not criticizing or treating VIPs like homeless beggers. I have never been treated like that in a VIP room. When my husband asked for his 2nd champagne, Mayra came out criticizing us like she were the president of US: "You are not getting your champagne because I saw you drinking from your wife's glass!" Seriously? First of all, no matter how much he drank from MY glass, your controlled expense of 2 glass per person stays the same! Secondly, he only finished the little left over from my glass so I can get a fresh one, alcohol content wise it would not make any difference! My question is whenever you have champagne ordered, you have someone standing behind us and watching , making sure you don't drink from others glass? And she ended her criticize with "we have a camera". The tone she had made us feel like we were cheating and begging for a glass of cheap champagne? First time ever been treated like a criminal/homeless in a VIP room. This VIP room and its service is a joke! read more
