The shop is clean, bright, and easy to order from. I like that you can either build your own bowl or choose one of their signature bowls, so there's something for everyone. They have a good selection of fresh fruit, granola, nut butters, and other toppings, which makes it easy to customize exactly what you're in the mood for. ::Acai:: Everything tasted fresh. The açaí was smooth, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The granola added the perfect crunch, and all the toppings worked well together. It's one of those meals that feels like a treat but still leaves you feeling good afterward. ::Customer Service:: Everyone I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. ::M's Notes:: - Outdoor seating - Street parking

Back with some friends. Luckily, not as much Nutella as last time ‍ very yummy. I feel like the acai tastes like cotton candy ice cream

Sarah really held it down today by herself! It's one of the freakish 90+ California days so everyone and their grandparents want to grab an ice cream alternative... since it's hot and a Friday almost all the customers in front of me seemed to have had an attitude. Sarah handled them with tact and poise! The joint is cozy, clean & calm. Acai was delicious! Keep it up!

The Nutella Fella bowl is pretty good! We were passing through and looking for something light and fresh, ordered online and order was available on time! Unfortunately no napkins or spoon in the bag, but overall good experience!

Delicious smoothie from a nicely appointed menu. Loved the pineapple mint taste! I requested collagen in mine and felt very posh and VIP ;) Prompt and polite service, located near Octavia's Books for all of you bibliophiles. Gotta check it out!

Acai, Granola, Goji Berries, Honey, Strawberry, and Cacao Nibs

A few weeks ago my job hosted a staff appreciation day and they had acai bowl stall on-site. It was from Acai Bar with two staffs making custom bowls for everyone. We only had one base flavor which was acai. In the past I never cared for acai bowls but after I had one from here, I was hooked! I also tried acai bowls from different places but never liked them as much as from Acai Bar. I was in the area and stopped by after they opened on a Saturday morning. I managed to find parking in the back but it was difficult since a popular restaurant was located there. The store is also small. There were four customers inside and having more than 6 people in there was already crowded. I chose a custom bowl and mentioned it was my first time at this location. The staff was so nice and gave me a free 5th topping since it was my first time. I chose acai for base, granola, goji berries, strawberry, cacao nibs and honey as my toppings. I do think it's best to eat this right away. They have tables and chairs in front of the store. I took it home, freeze it for a bit and enjoyed it then. I'd love to try other bases next time!

The Açaí bar is stocked with freshness and many options. The employees are awesome. Very convenient for Altadena and Pasadena community

I want to like this place because the drinks can be good when they're made fresh, but the customer service is consistently terrible. This order was placed through DoorDash for pickup and scheduled ahead of time. I arrived about ten minutes after placing the order, and DoorDash already showed it as 'ready.' When I told the employee I had a pickup order, he acted like he knew what I was talking about and started looking around, even checking the fridge. The smoothie hadn't actually been made it had been sitting out. Instead of remaking it properly, he simply added more ice and re-blended it. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the mistake, nothing. The lack of care and professionalism completely ruins the experience. The product might be decent, but the customer service is horrendous. This place seriously needs to do better.

Was craving açaí on a hot day and wanted to give Açaí Bar a try! There was a lot of street parking when I arrived! A small, cute location with a few bar stools. I ordered the Vitality Bowl. The fruit was fresh and the açaí base was yummy, service was quick too! Not a lot of space to hang out and socialize but a good place to stop by if you want a to-go order(:

Denise P.

First impressions are everything, when my partner and I walked in we were welcome my crickets, the two young ladies at the counter were not friendly, and stared at us instead of greeting us ( we went on a Friday) It was out first time here, I tried the "Berry me bowl, unlike the customer service, it did not disappoint. The place is small and maybe max limit per space is 4 people. Probably won't come back.

Finally, a place for Açaí bowls near Altadena!! This place is a MUST! The Açaí is delicious with great topping choices! The fruit is fresh (not frozen). Priced fairly. I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many times I've eaten here over the last six months, but it's that good! I usually get the Butter Me Up bowl and add mixed berries on top, which totally satisfies my açaí cravings. They are always generous with the toppings and they really pack the bowl full. My all time favorite Acai bowl is right here in Pasadena!! My go to is the Berry Me bowl. Since finding out about this spot, I've brought all my friends here and everyone is just as amazed as I am! This place just opened in my building and I'm delighted they are here. Good design and branding fits in great with the neighborhood. They have uniquee smoothie and shake flavors I wanna try and customizable açaí bowls with a myriad of healthy choices. Also they ha e bulletproof, mct, butter coffee, which whether the science is in or not, is a tasty drink/meal replacement. Anything that claims to help you think better usually does because it gets you thinking about your thinking. Peter is super friendly and wants to introduce you into the world of healthy fruit eating, which was great for a newcomer like me. read more

I found this little gem a few months back and I couldn't be happier! I come here about 3 to 4 times a week to a comical level...it's quite embarrassing how often I am here but who cares it's so worth it. My husband and I are addicted and order extra for the week. We just freeze them and I let them thaw out the next morning for breakfast. We love the berry bowls and protein shakes! When I arrived, there were only two staff members and both were busy preparing other orders, so I ended up waiting quite a while just to place my order. I tried ordering through the app instead, but it wasn't working, so eventually I asked a staff member to help me place the order. I then had some confusion when ordering my usual yogurt/fruit bowl. One of the staff members told me that they couldn't make it as a yogurt bowl without charging me the price of a regular bowl. I was confused because I've ordered the same type of bowl here multiple times before without being charged that way. The staff member initially gave me a hard time about it, although I do appreciate that they eventually apologized and checked with another staff member, who helped resolve the issue. The bowl itself was prepared fine, but unfortunately the overall quality of the fruit wasn't great this time. The fruit just didn't seem as fresh or as good-quality as it has been during my previous visits. I'm giving 2 stars because I've enjoyed this place before, but between the long wait, the initial customer service experience, and the quality of the ingredients this time, I left feeling pretty disappointed. I'm not sure I'll be back to this location.

As an acai bowl connoisseur who has tried countless acai bowl places, I have to say that Acai Bar in Pasadena is the best by far. I recently visited and was blown away by the quality and taste of their offerings. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with modern decor that creates a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I had a great experience from start to finish. I tried the Berry Me Bowl, and it was incredible. The combination of fresh fruits, goji berries, and bee pollen was perfect. Their acai is delicious and so refreshing, with a natural taste that stands out - nothing artificial here. I especially love adding peanut butter to my bowl, which adds a rich, satisfying touch. In terms of pricing, I found it to be reasonable given the quality and portion size. It's a bit more expensive than some other places, but the freshness and taste make it worth every penny. Overall, Acai Bar has earned its spot as my go-to place for acai bowls in Pasadena. Whether you're an acai enthusiast like me or just looking for a healthy and tasty treat, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more! read more

Acai Bar Cafe is hands down the best acai I've ever had! Every bowl is packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfectly blended for a creamy, flavorful, and refreshing treat. The toppings? Generous and beautifully arranged--each bite is pure bliss! Beyond the amazing acai, the staff here is incredibly professional and welcoming. They greet you with a smile, take their time to craft each order with care, and genuinely make you feel like a valued customer. The cozy, vibrant atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to grab a healthy and delicious snack. If you're an acai lover (or even if you're new to it), this is the place to go! I stopped in for an açaí bowl and honestly left disappointed. The customer service was basically nonexistent, no greeting, no help with the menu, and the overall vibe felt unwelcoming.
