I'd make it zero stars if I could. I bought a KitchenAide range from Abt. The oven never worked properly. For a year! Either it would be 50 degrees under or burn everything. They sent technicians out 5 times. All said the same thing: it's operating normally. The service sucks. I waited until 1 year was up and called KitchenAide for service. The guy was here 5 minutes and told me I had a "run away sensor" and replaced 2 parts. He was here 1/2 hour total. OMG. My oven works now. Set it for 350 and it goes to 350. Not 300. Not 435. 350!!!!!!! Any service manager and techs are idiots. Even the "advanced" technicians didn't know a damn thing. If Abt called me and said "we will give you a free refrigerator for your trouble" I'd tell them keep it and quit calling me. read more

Delivery and installation of our HVAC & smart thermostat were excellent. Jonathan and Gio arrived at 8:00 am, worked all day (didn't even stop for lunch) and did not leave until 6:40 pm -- a very long day doing a laborious job! They were very careful not to damage walls, doors, wood floors, placed throws, put on booties and left our home very clean. They explained all inquiries and were sure to ask if there were any questions before they departed. The Abt team of Jonathan and Gio is everything a customer would want. I purchased a Thermador range from ABT in late 2020, delivered and installed in Feb 2021. It broke 2 months later. ABT came and repaired it. I then purchased an extended warranty. It broke 8 times total in the following 4 years. The last time they deemed it unrepairable. Thermador told me I could buy another range at a discount (not much of one). I contacted ABT, and talked to general manager Rafal Stachurski. He contacted Thermador. I don't know the ins-and-outs of what happened, but he arranged for a brand new range at no charge to me. I was shocked at that. I never expected that. I couldn't recommend ABT more. I feel Mr. Stachurski went out of his way to help me. Thank you. read more

We would not shop anywhere else if we know ABT carries what we need. And we would highly recommend the salesman we had last Friday, when we purchased our new refrigerator. His name is Povilas Pacevicius. He is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure you know your options before making a purchase. We had already ordered a refrigerator over the phone but wanted to see it in person. It turns out that our sales person was not available and what we ordered was out of stock. We needed something asap so had to choose something else. Povilas spent a lot of time with us, even though he knew the sale was already credited to someone else. Been to Abt a couple times for auto window tinting. The last time I did there were installation problems. Even though it took a couple return trips, John made sure I was made whole even offering to fix my window that was having issues going up and down. Everything is good now and I'll be back knowing for sure that they stand behind their product. And ask about ceramic, it's better quality and I'm unlikely to go back to basic installed tint. read more

ABT bungled (then fixed) the installation of a new dishwasher, and a delivery crew seems to have damaged a window on the side of our house. We've had good luck with ABT in the past -- their prices are competitive and service has always been pretty good. We were a bit wary after our last purchase, a new oven, because the sales rep insisted that it was a gas broiler, and that turned out to be wrong. But after this latest experience with the dishwasher, I doubt we will use them again. The first dishwasher we ordered didn't quite fit our space -- a customer service rep at Bosch had given us the wrong model number to replace our old unit. The first ABT crew happily took that one back to the store, and scheduled a time to bring out a model that would fit. But when a second crew showed up the next week with the replacement, they installed it incorrectly. Shortly after they left, the unit began leaking water onto the kitchen floor. It hadn't been properly leveled, and parts were incorrectly attached which prevented the door from forming a tight seal. A third crew came out later that day to fix the install. That crew was thoughtful and careful, and we appreciate their work. So, three crews came out to our house. The first two crews carried dishwashers from the truck to our kitchen using a narrow walkway on the side of our house. (The first crew also removed our old dishwasher using that walkway.) They were the only people to use the walkway during that period. A few days later, I was carrying a rake out to the front of the house and saw that one of the glass bricks in a (basement) window had been broken. The pieces of glass were lying in the walkway and would have been noticed by anyone who passed through. I reported this to ABT, and pointed out that one of their crews must have hit it. After a few weeks of waiting I just heard back from them. They tell me that one of their crews noticed the broken glass, but didn't think to say anything. They insisted it must be old damage. Except, leaves were swept off that walkway a few days before the first crew came out, and the window wasn't damaged then. More leaves fell after the sweeping, and the broken glass was sitting on top of them. And big sharp piece of glass were in the walkway! Anyone carrying stuff through there would either have stepped on the glass, or moved it to the side so the next guy didn't step on it. ABT crews were the only people to use the walkway during that period, and they were carrying dishwashers and installation equipment. We weren't thrilled with the install problems, but things happen and we appreciate that they were quickly fixed. However, ABT's response to the broken window is disappointing. Their position is that a delivery crew noticed (and, a week later, recalled having seen) sharp pieces of broken glass in the walkway, but didn't think to say anything at the time. What seems more likely to us is that they bumped the window and broke one of the glass bricks. But we weren't standing there to see it happen, so we're out of luck. I can understand ABT saying they don't know who to believe: us, or their crew. But I can't imagine we'll order from them again. read more

I recently ordered a Samsung microwave from Abt Electronics and unfortunately had a pretty frustrating experience. The microwave was sent to the wrong address in the wrong city. I placed my order on the 12th and it was delivered in Deerfield Beach on the 16th (I live in Boca). I double checked my shipping info and everything was correct so it was definitely an Abt or UPS issue. When I contacted Abt's customer service, they said they would look into it and get in touch, but I didn't hear back from them. I also reached out to UPS who said they would investigate. I followed up a few days later but there was no new information. In about a week later the tracking changed and said they were unable to deliver the item in Deerfield Beach and that they were returning it to sender. I then had to call Abt for a 3rd time and this time around they said they'd issue a refund when the item was returned. While the customer service representatives I spoke with were friendly and helpful, these shipping and fulfillment issues and the time required to follow up on them were a major hassle, especially since I was in the middle of a kitchen renovation and needed the microwave right away. I know that Abt has a pretty good reputation, but I can't help but feel like I should have purchased a microwave locally rather than have it shipped out of the Midwest by some random company. In the end, this was definitely not the smooth and easy experience I was hoping for. Hopefully they'll be as good as their word and refund me when they get the item back, but only time will tell. I would probably give Abt another try because of their competitive pricing, online reviews and reasonably good customer service. But this experience was two stars at best. read more

Unfortunately every time I place an online order, they cancel it for no given reason. When trying to live chat, or talk on the phone, they end up hanging up on me or closing the chat. Very unprofessional customer service. Not willing to help at all. *update after response* they never contacted me Thursday and I didnt figure out they canceled my order until the next day after business hours. They never called or emailed to tell me I just happened to check my order. As soon as we realized it was gone we contacted them. They returned it but without the computer (probably removed to resell). We have bought major appliances at Abt for many years. Generally we've been happy with purchases, but recently have had issues getting Abt to schedule repairs when needed. Usually the next available dates have been 4 to 5 weeks out and they want you to pay the service call fee ($209) at time of scheduling. Their default is to give you the number of the manufacturer's repair service which makes me think they really don't want to service what they sell anymore. ADDITION-Thank you, Camen, but in both these recent experiences I was talking directly to your service schedulers. In both instances I could not get a date sooner than 4 weeks. In both instances I was given telephone numbers for the manufacturers and was advised that I could probably get quicker service that way. read more

I SPENT 4k to be overcharged, have my house flooded, and now ABT won't address the issue. Yes , I was overcharged by $1000 dollars and then installer FLOODS MY HOUSE by not attaching drain hose properly and causes massive drywall and electrical damage. NO ONE FROM ABT HAS RETURNED MY CALLS. What a total scam of a company. I tried to shop "local" but I will NEVER use them again. This was truly the worst retail experience I've EVER had. First I get overcharged by $900 when a sales guy decided to add an extra washing machine after I had already bought 2 washer dryer sets. I call before delivery to ask about it and after being on hold for 10 minutes, told someone will call me back. NO ONE EVER CALLED since they had already made their sale. Delivery day comes, delivery guy offered to address extra washer which is on their truck with the two sets I bought, which seemed helpful. But then, one of them doesn't attach the water drain hose properly and THERE IS WATER CASCADING DOWN TWO FLOORS THROUGH THE WALLS. How do you screw that up? It is literally the most important part of a washer install. YOU HAVE ONE JOB!!! I call them to come back as we are finding every available towel to deal with the WATERFALL IN MY HOME COMING THROUGH CEILING LIGHT FIXTURES. They come back but don't apologize: INSTEAD I GET MANSPLAINED ABOUT HOW WASHERS WORK. "Ma'am, maybe your pipes are clogged or the brand new machine is completely defective." Uh no, because I did laundry that morning without incident. Besides, if the drain pipe was clogged the water would have pooled around the washer rather than flowing downward two floors. HOW ABOUT OWNING YOUR MISTAKE ABT? I call the store and after someone "looked" for a manager for 10 minutes, none were to be found. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. Allegedly I am going to hear from their claims department but NO ONE HAS CALLED. SO: I spent over 4k, only to get grossly overcharged, have my home seriously water damaged, and then COMPLETELY IGNORED. Go anywhere else, they have to be better than ABT. read more

Abbey is fine if you're buying something from them, they'll give you a date and they'll deliver it if you have a question about something you've already purchased or if you have a problem with something you've already purchased they don't call you back. They don't email you we've called four times concerning a problem. They said they would call back the same day or the next. It didn't happen. My husband called. They said they would email it didn't happen. Very poor customer service. They're only interested if you want to buy something. read more
