Carol Marchetti assisted us in selecting Hans groove fixtures for ur two bathrooms. Every time I take a shower the variations, intensity of the flow restores me. I have worsened with conditions caused by ME/CFS. This particular shower head provides momentary relief for a while. Carol also assisted in other elements all of which have made living in my first house, at the age of 80 (now 83) a remarkable experience. Thank yo Carol. We have been dealing with these guys for almost a year. We got our bathroom vanities from this place and we are very, VERY happy. They are beautiful and were very reasonably priced. Ordering, purchasing and delivery: no BS, no drama. The vanities came in perfect shape---came on time, nothing had to be returned or replaced. We also purchased bathroom lighting fixtures and faucets. We completely regret not getting our kitchen cabinets from this place earlier on. Our sales rep was Carol and she was superb! She was relationship-oriented, proactive, helpful and was always on on the ball. Joanne was great as well, excellent follow-through---she diligently helped locate the exact paint color of the bathroom vanity, primarily because one worker accidentally drilled a hole in the wrong place and had to repair it. I went to Advantage because my Hans Grohe kitchen faucet was clogged by sediment. Yes, there is a tool to open the faucet to remove the sediment but the boss didn't know where to find one. Is it still under warranty? We'll, it takes too long to ask them. This is the third time this piece is being replaced. Don't buy a faucet you can't clean. I regularly clean the trap on the one in my bathroom. Choose carefully. read more

So I needed glass .... lots of glass and faucets too. You can't have a hip ultra modern bathroom without lots of glass, can you? The showroom is pretty big and the selections almost seem endless. When I first went here the service was a bit sluggish, I found it rather difficult to snatch a sale person to give me some information. After about 20 minutes I was about give up on them and walk out. And then it happened... this older sales guy looks at me and ask how he can help... perhaps he was kitchen & bath Jedi of some sort and could sense my dismay, because I was really about to walk. So he turned out to be really helpful, in fact so helpful I got all sorts of crazy visions of how my ultra-hip new bathroom would look. Then came the reality check of the price. I was a little overwhelmed when I first walked in the door, but thankfully, our contractor had told us to talk to Aleks. Saturdays seems REALLY busy, but they have a fairly efficient process for taking names, issuing pagers, and getting customers connected with salespeople. Once Aleks was available, he took us around the showroom and we talked about what we needed. Ultimately, we needed a shallow vanity due to the size of our bathroom. Aleks immediately took us over to a vanity that we had been admiring when we walked in and told us that it comes in various sizes and is available in the size we needed. Great! We were even able to select various types of wood and stains. The options seemed unlimited, but we had very little problem making our decisions. The vanity was supposed to take about 2-3 weeks to arrive. Once it arrived, Aleks called us and we went to pick it up. Unfortunately, once we got home, we opened the box and discovered that the vanity had been ordered incorrectly. A quick call to Aleks and he ordered the correct vanity, assured us he would expedite it, and offered to deliver the vanity when it arrived, and pick up the vanity that we currently had. Fantastic customer service! We are very pleased with the final product. I did, however, subtract one star for the error in ordering, but I was pleased with the final outcome. read more

I don't write many reviews, even if at all. But I must give a shout out to Nick at AG. We have a steam shower, which for some reason are really tough to find someone to service. At any rate, Nick went above and beyond to connect us with someone to clean and service our unit. This was not a commission or anything for him, as the service company isn't even part of AG. He followed up with me, and the service company until we literally had something scheduled. I think it's rare to have such amazing customer service at a place, and I highly recommend AG. Also, I went in to purchase an "emergency" faucet replacement (plumber was literally at my home waiting) and Carol was fantastic at helping in store as well. Have to leave a note here to rave about how well Advantage stands by its products, and a great customer service experience. We bought some fixtures from Advantage eight years ago when we redid a bathroom. In recent years the diverter valve that directs the water between the tub spout and the shower grew increasingly loose and wobbly. The product had a lifetime manufacturer's warranty, and when I contacted Advantage by phone they immediately assisted me in identifying the defective part in need of replacement. After they sent me spec drawings from the manual identifying the different parts and I texted back photos of my valve, it because clear that the problem was installation error by my contractor 8 years ago, and no fault of Advantage or the manufacturer. Despite this, Advantage conferenced in the manufacturer's engineer (I think from Germany) and the advantage tech and the engineer walked me though step-by-step how to properly reconnect the valve myself and correct the wobble. And I'm not at all handy. The time and care they took to correct a problem caused by someone else years ago was beyond impressive. read more

Advantage is the best. We did a complete remodel of our bathroom. Working with Ray was a breeze. He helped us lay out the bathroom and sort out the choices. Since we were in somewhat of a time crunch we did a lot of our work via email. After the installation of shower doors we realized that the toilet was going to be a tight fit. Ray immediately went to work locating a different one and got it to us very quickly. When we checked the medicine cabinet we found a gas in the frame. We spoke to Nick and he ordered a replacement mirror. The replacement mirror arrived and there was a chip in the mirror. Again, Nick had a replacement sent out. During the remodel process I called Nick a couple of times regarding some installation matters. Each time he helped me work through the issue and even got the manufacturers rep on the line. We visited Advantage Kitchen & Bath for a very mundane purchase -- a toilet. This showroom is obviously geared toward people who are looking to spend a ton of money on an entire remodeling project, but Darryl took us by the hand (not literally, of course) and led us through our choices. The reason we went there in the first place is we were looking for a place that sold the Toto brand, and that sold to consumers, as we are going to install this item ourselves. Darryl was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great advice, and treated us just as well as someone who WAS going whole-hog on a renovation, which was nice. The only odd thing about the place is there are no prices listed on anything -- your salesperson has to look up the prices for you. Luckily, I had done research beforehand so knew the ranges we were looking at, and they were right in line with the MSRP. This is definitely not a discount store, but the prices are fair. I am going back for a new medicine cabinet for that same bathroom, and that's the best recommendation I can think of -- I will be a repeat customer. read more

I have had Pom D'or soap dispensers for the last 15 years. The dispenser pumps finally corroded and I could not get replacements. I live in Hawaii and the distributor here no longer carried the line and was no help. Aloha actually means "a lot of hot air", but I digress. I contacted the company in Spain several times but they never returned my messages. I found the closest distributor in California and they tried to get the part but could not get a clear answer from Spain and finally said they were no longer a distributor also. I kept working my way east and contacted Advantage. Te'Asia Yearby, of Customer Service, took on the task and kept me informed of her communications with Pom D'or. Yes, the shipping is expensive but that has nothing to do with Advantage, the product was shipped from Spain. It arrived, it was the exact pieces that I needed and now some 12 months after my initial attempts, the soap dispensers that are affixed to the granite splash, are operational again. Yes, this is a first world problem and this is a first class company that helped me settle it. I am from Missouri and it was fascinating to see that I had to return to the midwest to fix a spanish problem occurring on a island in the middle of the pacific. A big thank you to George: I'm giving Advantage 5 stars because of their beautiful selections for bath fixtures and for their GREAT service. A year ago we purchased all of our plumbing (shower/sink faucets and fittings and a mix of other items) for two bathrooms from Advantage. We had a terrible contractor (highly intoxicated at 10:00 am early in the project) and the job has been on hold for a year. We took over as the GC and assembled a squad of amazing sub-contractors and are on our way to a beautiful home. This week the plumber came through to do a preliminary tour of what we had on sight and found we did not have the proper drain for our bathtub. Long story, but I phoned Advantage and realized early on that I did not purchase the bathtub from then. Still, George stayed on the phone with me, asked several questions and told me exactly what I needed. I was impressed a year ago and am even more impressed now. You'll do yourself a favor by going by Advantage prior to designing your project. I picked up a deeply discounted vessel sink and my designer loved it. My husband is very pleased with his macho shower set up and I will be delighted once my bathroom fittings are in place and have the bath of my dreams. I sure hope this YELP makes the cut. I just learned that a past 5-Star YELP I gave to another store was removed from the review count and placed in the "Filtered" section as being "unreliable." Yelp will not explain what I did wrong. When YELP places a review in the business's filtered section most consumers don't see those and they don't count in their average scores. Do yourself a favor and start checking the filtered section of reviews. YELP has an automated filter system and you could be missing legitimate reviews, good and bad. In fact, I noticed that as of today Advantage has 3 reviews and an additional 4 filtered reviews. Are they good or bad? Check them out and you decide if they are "reliable." read more

We are only at the beginning of our renovations, starting the kitchen this October, and we will NEVER use Advantage Kitchen and Bath again! No doubt their show room is stocked with wonderful yet high priced products. The service is what disappointed us! We waited and worked many hours with the same person yet each time we came in he would not recognize us, know our name or where to find our order information. We recently found out, 5 months after doing business with them, that despite our records reading "balance due $0.00" he made a mistake on our bill. It happens that the employee we worked with failed to update our order with things we added or changed on separate visits. Instead of apologizing for his mistake he made us feel like criminals for expecting to be compensated for a mistake he made. We thought Advantage would place higher expectations on their personal and hold them accountable for their mistakes. We also thought that we would be treated better since we were such good customers spending a lot of money and paying in full back in April when we were in the midst of our bathroom renovation. read more

My husband and I needed a new glass shower door as our old one was pretty beat up. We walked in and were greeted by Aleks who helped us with the selection and gave us various quotes as to the installation price. My husband and I discussed whether or not to remove the old door/install the new door our self, or pay a $175 installation fee. We ultimately paid and left the store very happy with out purchase. After two weeks of waiting and not receiving a single phone call regarding installation, I called Advantage again. Once they looked up my invoice number, they kept putting me on hold, telling me that so and so was not in that day, that they would call me right back, etc. I sensed that something was not quite as it should be, but they would not tell me what was going on with my order. Then, someone named Gail called me and told me that the installation company had been trying to get a hold of my husband and that they left him messages that we never responded to. That is absolutely not the case. After further investigation, they told us that we gave them the wrong phone number. That was another lie. On my invoice, I can see that I gave Aleks my correct address and phone number. Advantage simply switched the last two digits of our number when they forwarded the information to the installation company. Needless to say, it took almost a full month to straighten this out. Once we finally got the installers to come to our condo, they were dumbfounded to find our old shower door still in place. They told us that although we had paid an installation fee, that there is an additional charge to take down the existing door. I had to call Aleks again, and he told me that "that is common knowledge", that we should have known to remove the old door our selves, and that we need to pay an additional $120 dollars for the installers to take down the old shower door. Otherwise, we could reschedule the entire installation (that we had been waiting for for a month), remove the old door our self, and give them a call back when we were ready for the installation. (We could have removed the old door our selves a million times in the month we waited, had we just been given instructions to do so.) Never once was this communicated to us at the time of the purchase. When we purchased the door, we specifically explained to Aleks that we were looking to replace an old and beat up shower door. He never instructed us to remove the old door before the install, nor did he offer us a quote and explain that it is different from the installation quote we paid for. To make the case even worse, he had the nerve to yell at my husband over the phone and accuse us of trying to scam our way out of paying for the removal. My husband demanded to speak to his supervisor and explain the situation directly to him. The supervisor, Mike, was helpful and apologetic. He gave the go-ahead to the installers to remove the old door at no charge. Mind you, that during this 45 minutes shenanigan, the two contractors were sitting in my family room, listening to all of this, and telling us that they have other installations to go to that day. Overall, it was a horrible experience working with this company. I agree with a lot of the other comments as far as selection goes, but their customer service is bad. You would think that such a professional looking company would have their stuff together and train their employees on proper customer care and etiquette. We did not know mush of what we needed but had a rough idea. Alex was extremely helpful! He was friendly, informative and took the time to explain everything that was needed to meet our bathroom needs. This is the first time me and my husband felt no pressure to buy things we didnt need. He was by far no pushy sales man.
