I would think that they have a lot of repeat customers, and they should. Ravi & Josh we're so helpful. In fact, they were more than helpful. Not only did they take the time to listen to me explain what I needed, but they genuinely cared that I was using and buying the right stuff. They offered recommendations and/or suggestions for items they didn't have, all while checking their system and calling other locations for my parts. And even though one of the stores wasn't a Len's, they found an Ace nearer to me than Addison (which is where I knew the part was that I needed but didn't want to drive to during rush hour and sleeting rain). That my yelping friends is customer service. I've been to several Len's locations and every time I am helped fast and efficiently. It's nice to know they are consistent with their customer service and they are all trained well. It also proves their staff truly enjoy their jobs and love the company they work for. I learned tonight that one of Len's goals for the company is to be the community's go-to hardware store. They offer competitive prices and if you don't see it in the store they will do everything they can to get it for you. I so hope they reach that goal. After encountering more dishonest key makers than I could list I'd finally encountered an HONEST key maker when it first occurred and he told me to go to Ace and not let locksmiths or dealerships take advantage. I was skeptical as you'd not even believe the quotes I got to cut another simple, non chip key! I am soooo pleased with Ace in Roselle! ALL of the professional working at this Ace went out of their way to ensure proper new keys were made and they did not rip me off They even provided some tips on keeping the lock mechanism working well on my now 25 year old Honda (I'm original owner). I will ABSOLUTELY be returning as I find them very honest and knowledgeable. A very pleasant experience! I called first to see if they had them, and the young girl was so helpful on the phone. She even told me right where to look for them as I enter the store. That same friendly, helpful young lady was working the cash register. It took less than 1/2 hour from the time I made the call until my grandson hit the slopes. Sure it sounds routine and not worth a review, but it served as an another reminder for me of the extra value of going to an independent Ace Hardware store, rather than the major chains. I had ran in to a Walmart store along the way. Although I very rarely frequent them, I figured a big store like that would have a sled. They did not, and they sure weren't sorry they couldn't help me. What a difference! I googled "sleds near me" when I was in the Bloomingdale area, and this store popped up. Who knew a hardware store would be the place to buy a sled? Nice sized clean store, wonderful people, in stock, affordable. Nope!  The more I looked the harder it became because I wasn't sure of fixture sizes to buy for our spaces. Our electrician suggested we go to Littmen Bros. Interiors. What a great suggestion!! From the moment we walked in the door we were so excited to see all the beautiful fixtures in person. We met and worked with Lisa who is outstanding. We showed Lisa pictures of all our existing fixtures  and provided room measurements to give her an idea  of the scale.   She said this will be fun! She gave us ideas on sizes to consider. Everything I liked initially was way to small.  Lisa was fantastic making sure we ordered the perfect size for each space. We purchased 5 fixtures: A foyer 12 drop amazing fixture, 2 lights for the cat walk which are gorgeous and look fantastic with the foyer lighting, a beautiful hand made crystal candelabra chandelier for the dinning room and a large two tone  round fixture for the laundry room. We couldn't be happier with our purchase! We are so grateful we found Lisa because she made the process fun and easy.  Our house looks fabulous!! We highly recommend Lisa and Littmen Bros. One of the ladies (sorry I didn't get her name!) was extremely helpful helping me pick out a light for our tiny condo kitchen reno; I explained what I wanted and after looking at their wall displays she offered to get me a binder of other options they'd be happy to order for me. I wound up selecting something they had on display, and she was kind enough to ask one of the guys to take down the display model for me since I didn't want to wait for one to be shipped. This is a great time of year for renovations, since they had a sale going--I was given 25% of the cost of my lighting figure!
