My first conversation was the office manager (who was polite and professional) asking an extraordinary amount of questions prior to a visit including measurements which I felt that was the job of the person coming out to provide an estimate. I was given a quote of 40-60K for a small Lakewood bathroom (note this was before anyone actually saw my bathroom.. why is this done?). Then I was scheduled out several weeks in advance. The day of my appointment, I took off of work. About a half hour prior to the appointment time, it was cancelled. I get it, stuff happens. I was a bit put off by the last minute cancel and the wasted day off. I went to reschedule and they had nothing for several weeks. I asked if they can make an exception since they were the ones to cancel and they could not. They asked if I wanted a zoom appointment (not sure how that would work???). I live 10 minutes away from their office. In the mean time I had 3 other local contractors (who had all been recommended) come out. All three were half of the price of the "estimate" I was given over the phone. Obviously this company does not need work. I cancelled my second appointment in an email to the company outlining my reasons.

The installed the wrong mantel, which was damaged from the manufacturer (told me who cares), they damaged our $4500 bookcases/cabinets, installed a piece of arched molding that was damaged by the manufacturer, failed to finish to crown molding and kept the key to our house and refused to return it. There is a whole lot more that I could go in to. In total, I had to pay $2,000 for repairs for the damages they caused and they would not work out a settlement with us so they put a lien on our house. We paid the amount owed because we could not take another loan out on our home unless we paid the lien off. They have yet to remove the lien and we paid them in full over 2 months ago. This company is unethical, does subpar work and charges top dollar for subpar work. The job took them 3 months to complete. I highly encourage you to not hire this company that does not care about their work or their customers. I paid $13,000 for a fireplace redo and my bookcases have issues because to make them look halfway decent, they had to be repainted. So in total, this job cost me almost $18,000. After visiting several counter companies and feeling like none were the right fit I decided to stop by ramsier. I called ahead before visiting and was pleasantly surprised that they had the actual slabs to view. I showed up and worked with the owner to show the layout and come up with an estimate. Then he showed me the slabs. By the second one I knew what I wanted. After that they scheduled a time to template. My cabinets took a little longer so I called and rescheduled the template that was easy to do. On the template day they came out as promised and spent about an hour explaining the process and asking questions to make sure the layout was the way I wanted. It took 2 weeks before they came back to install which was half the time other companies at suggested to me. On instal day they arrived on time and were professional. They took care in keeping the process clean. The installation went great and the counters look beautiful. Communication was great and everyone was nice to work with!

By the time we remembered that Pucher's was right in our town we were ready to give up. We are so very glad we went to "just one more store." Pucher's had many of the same carpet samples we had rejected elsewhere, but it also had others we had not seen. It also had Claudia, who provided a higher level of customer service, including a great capacity for listening to and understanding our pain points and offering suggestions. Her visit to our home to see the existing palette, review the paint color changes we were about to make, and to better understand our life style, was refreshing, and a very helpful game-changer.
