You are then escorted to the work area where the fun begins; you are given a personal tour thru the warehouse gazing at all the beautiful stunning slabs of granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, etc. Each piece has its own beauty; so hard from which to choose. After selecting the piece you desire, your salesman will go over all the details of the renovation process, installation, et al. I must say, after comparing several competitors, I found Granite Works Stone Design to be superior to the others with a much better/higher quality product at a lower price. My estimate with Granite Works was roughly $7,000 plus (that included the countertop in addition to new cabinets); the closest competitor wanted over $17,000 for the same job. No brainer here!!

Apparently there was a…read moremiscommunication regarding the meeting as she was expecting my wife and I to come to their showroom when I had set the appointment up for her to come to our home. I waited 2 hours past the appointment time and called the office. I got a recording essentially telling me to call back later. I tried 5 times over the next few hours and finally someone answered. I explained the situation and they put me on hold. Finally Bobbi answered and that is when we concluded that their had been a miscommunication regarding the location of the meeting. She then asked me what I was calling about and I explained that it was for repair work at our home. I told her what it entailed and asked if that was something they were capable of addressing and she assured me that it was. We then set an appointment up for the next day at our home for between 12:00PM and 1:00 PM. She stated she come and meet us on her lunch hour. I made sure she had our correct address and my phone number and told her I would see her the next day. It is now 6:00 PM, 6 hours past our scheduled meeting and Bobbie never showed or called. I find it had to believe the reviews that praise this business as based my experience I wouldn't let them install or repair a counter in an outhouse let alone my home. If Bobbi is an example of the type of people they employ then apparently they find unprofessionalism and disregard for potential customers to be accpetable. Anyone looking for granite work should avoid this company at all cost as based on how the treated me a potential customer I can imagine what type of nightmare you would deal with if you had a problem after they have your money. There are other reputable companies out there that are willing to provide professional service to gain your business.

I contacted Ramsier and spoke with David about the issues I was experiencing. From the beginning, he was extremely helpful, understanding, and sympathetic to my situation. David sent his guys out to assess the problems. They were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. After explaining what could realistically be repaired, I hired them to correct as many of the issues as possible. I am extremely satisfied with the results. While no one could have completely eliminated every problem caused by the original installation, Ramsier came remarkably close. Their team understood that I had made a significant investment in this stone and worked hard to provide the best possible solution in the most cost-effective way. They never pressured me into replacing the countertops or purchasing something I didn't need. Instead, they took on the challenge of fixing another company's mistakes and did a fabulous job. Their professionalism, expertise, honesty, and customer service were outstanding. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future countertop or stonework needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled company.

It hurt to even give these guys one star. Samuel (owner) will talk the talk. He sounded so…read moreconfident and professional when we spoke to him for the quote. We were impressed and wanted to give him a shot at our whole house, interior paint job. He promised us he could get it done before we moved in (about a week) and that anything we didn't like, he would make sure it was to our liking before leaving. He started by buying the cheapest paint Sherwin Williams offers. It was ProMar 200 - commercial grade paint. After the first day, they asked us what time we wanted them there the next day and we said, 8am. They responded, "Well we live a half hour away." First guy showed up the next day at 9:20. They showed up late other times too. None of them seemed like very experienced painters. Applied tape poorly, so that when it was taken off, lines were not clean at all. Kitchen ceiling had multiple missed areas, making it look worse than before they "painted" it. They had told us they would put up drywall over the wall in a half bath because previous owner had painted over wallpaper, and couldn't be removed without pulling off chunks of drywall. Then in the middle of the job, they decided to just "patch" the areas where wallpaper was peeling. See picture below to see how that turned out. The worst was one night, Samuel left the youngest guy to finish the kitchen area. The kid decided to speed things up and used a sprayer on our drywall. We were left with overspray on ceilings, walls, and kitchen cabinets. We were very upset and called Samuel who promised to show up on Memorial Day weekend to make it right. Said he would bring in a crew of 4 from another job. He showed up with one guy, didn't have the materials to fix the overspray on the cabinets. When we got to the house 5 minutes late (we still weren't moved in yet), he was angry that we were late. When we pointed out that it was only a few minutes and his guys had been late repeatedly, he denied it and said they were leaving because we "disrespected them". Couldn't believe it. They left our house damaged, didn't clean up their messes, and just left. They disrespected our time and property throughout the project, and because we called them out for doing such poor work and being late repeatedly, they were "disrespected." We figured they knew they were in over their heads with all the damage, so they needed a way out. No crew of 4 showed up to "make things right." Seems like they had no intention of bringing anyone in. Just needed an excuse to quit in the middle of the poorly done job. We obviously didn't pay them the balance, but they took us for WAY too much money anyway considering the unfinished work, horrible quality of work that was done, and unprofessional time management. They even took all the cheap paint with them so we couldn't even make corrections ourselves. Ended up getting an amazing guy to help us out and he did great work cleaning up their messes and applying high quality paint. If you are considering using this company for a project, RUN AWAY FAST!!
